Opened in September 2022, this coffee stand is located at the end of the Minami-guchi Shotengai shopping street, just a short walk from Shimo-Kitazawa Station. Converted from a part of a vintage clothing store, the stand features a small bench outside. Despite the decrease in vintage shops in the area, this coffee stand seems to be quite popular, with a steady stream of customers keeping the staff busy. The staff, although initially overwhelmed, were quick to assist with a smile once they noticed us. The stylish and authentic espresso machine at the counter caught our eye. We tried the cafe latte for 600 yen, which was creamy, easy to drink, and delicious. It might be a good idea to grab a coffee here after a meal before heading back to the station. Across the street, there is a miscellaneous goods store called "Sansatoh" which also seemed to have a cafe with a coffee sign displayed. It seems that lately, many businesses are adding coffee stands or cafes as a side business or even as their main focus. Perhaps, by looking at things from different perspectives, new business opportunities can be discovered.
