Since yesterday I have been suffering from viral gastroenteritis, so today I decided to skip alcohol for dinner. I resisted the urge to order a draft beer (165 yen) and instead ordered the Thick-cut Grilled Silver Salmon Set Meal (968 yen) with Sesame Green Bean Salad (55 yen). The meal arrived in 12 minutes. The silver salmon was cooked perfectly and the skin was delicious. The hot miso soup was also very good. There were many foreign customers, and the Indian-looking person next to me was dipping the salmon belly in the miso soup. Next time, I will definitely order a beer.

When it comes to choosing a Japanese lunch spot on my work day, I sometimes go to this place. It faces a main street and is almost always crowded during lunchtime, so you may have to wait. Since it's a counter-style restaurant, you might be able to get a seat quickly when dining alone. There are also tables on the second floor, but if you're waiting for a table, you may have to wait a bit, so it's better to stagger your timing. They have a wide variety of fish dishes, and this time I tried the most popular one, which is the salmon belly. It was fatty and delicious, especially when eaten with grated radish. You can pay using a self-checkout machine, and they accept cards and PayPay.

Wait, where did Yahoo Shop go? Huh, huh, it's completely transformed into Shimpachi Dining! Wow, I guess I have no choice but to eat here. Breakfast! Grilled mackerel set meal, in the 400 yen range. With tax, it's a little over 500 yen. My friend got the small rice portion, so they got change from a 500 yen coin. It's only QR code payment, though. Self-service. Wow, it's really good, delicious. And it fills you up. But, I feel like the staff doesn't come out to the counter area much, to wipe things down. The tea runs out, or the tea cups run out, and they only refill them after customers point it out.

All the menu options are appetizing. It's great that you can choose between mixed grain rice and white rice. After much deliberation, I chose the recommended mackerel sun-dried fish with mixed grain rice set. It's cheap and delicious, that's the bottom line. The portion size is good and it's a great deal. Plus, if you order a set meal, you can have a beer for only 150 yen.

I stopped by for breakfast in Ningyocho area. It is located at the corner of Ningyocho Station, a 1-minute walk from the station, at the intersection of Ningyocho Street and Kinza Street. There is a big sign that says "Charcoal-grilled dried fish set meal," so you can easily spot it. I had the morning set meal, which was the "sardine set (regular)" for 539 yen including tax. When I entered the restaurant, there were already a few customers inside, and shortly after I arrived, the first floor was full. The main seating area is at the counter on the first floor with about 10 seats. There are also a couple of table seats and a second floor seating area. The morning set menu offers four options (salted salmon, salted mackerel, sardine, pork belly) for 490 yen excluding tax, similar to Yoshinoya's prices. The set includes grilled fish, miso soup, rice, and pickles. The grilled fish had a nice aroma and was well cooked. Unlike Yoshinoya, which serves seasoned dried seaweed, this restaurant focuses on grilled fish. The fish was cooked properly and didn't have that typical fast food vacuum-packed taste. The payment is self-service, and you can also pay with QR code, making it convenient. The sardine was freshly grilled and had a wonderful aroma. The portion of rice was generous, making it a satisfying breakfast option. The miso soup was dispensed using a machine, which looked efficient. The salmon seemed to be marinated before grilling, and I would like to try it next time. Overall, it was a pleasant breakfast experience.

On a hot day, I visited "Shinpachi Shokudo" at the intersection in Ningyocho. Be careful of the step right inside the entrance! I ordered the Salmon Belly Set Meal, Negitoro Side Dish, and a draft beer. I enjoyed the fatty salmon belly with the refreshing beer to cool down. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The area around Ningyocho is convenient because there are few places where you can eat set meals until late at night. It's a chain restaurant, but the rice, miso soup, and fish are all delicious without any complaints! So why is it rated 3.4... I'm not sure myself, maybe because it's tasty but lacks excitement... Among chain restaurants, it's delicious and cozy, so I recommend it. Adding negitoro costs only 90 yen, so please try adding it.

The brown rice was softer than expected. It's nice that the natto is only 33 yen nowadays (only available as a single item order until 11 am). The taste is simple and has a rich texture typical of natto. The miso soup and pickles in the set meal tasted a bit too salty for my liking. When I entered, the staff was busy with deliveries, and the manager was handling everything alone with three other customers ahead of me, but the food arrived promptly within 3-4 minutes after ordering.

This new restaurant at Ningyocho Crossing. I visited for lunch with my senior colleague! We ordered using a touch panel. I had the red sea bream dried fish set meal, and my senior had the mackerel sun-dried fish set meal (no photo). The red sea bream was light and delicious! During lunchtime, customers kept coming in one after another. I was skeptical because it's new, but it seems to be popular. Thank you for the meal☆

I had lunch near my company. There is a restaurant on the corner of Ningyocho intersection. I arrived at 12:05 on a weekday and was able to get in without waiting. I ordered the "Mackerel Miso Stew Set" (890 yen). I placed my order using the touch panel installed at the table. The food was served quickly. The taste was neither good nor bad. However, there are many other good restaurants in this area, so I probably won't go back again.

I visited Asajake Teishoku for breakfast before 7:00 AM on a weekday. They offer aged brown rice for 539 yen. They opened earlier than the scheduled time. There were no customers when I arrived, but 5 people came in after me. The staff, two energetic young men, were serving. More customers started coming in gradually, and the place was about half full.

This is a dried fish set meal restaurant. I was looking for a place to eat before a drinking party and found a nice place, so I decided to go in. Orders are placed using a tablet and payment is done at the self-checkout. I ordered a half portion of grilled mackerel set meal with half rice for 750 yen, and a draft beer for 150 yen. When you order a set meal, you can get a draft beer for 150 yen. I also added a premium negitoro for 90 yen. It's a great deal to be able to eat negitoro for 90 yen. The set meal comes with rice, miso soup, and pickles. The mackerel was grilled nicely and the bones were crispy. With grated daikon, it was refreshing to eat. It was such a great deal that I ordered another draft beer. It was a place where you can enjoy a satisfying set meal.
