On this day, I was working in Fukuoka Tenjin~(^_^) When it was lunchtime, I was looking for my usual noodles, but somehow I felt like having a set meal! So, this time I visited "Tenjin Wappa Teishokudou" restaurant. It is located near Tenjin Loft in the bustling area of Fukuoka Tenjin, in Imazumi 1-chome, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka. Lunch hours start from 11:30. I entered at 11:40 and the restaurant was almost full (^^ゞ As expected, it's very popular♪ There was one empty seat at the counter, so I sat down immediately! I quickly looked at the menu! They have a service lunch until 3:00 pm on weekdays, with 8 set meal options priced at 780 yen, which is quite reasonable. Last time, I had the "Chicken Nanban Teishoku", so this time I ordered grilled fish verbally!
- Grilled Mackerel Set Meal 780 yen
- Miso Soup → Changed to Tonjiru (small) 130 yen + 130 yen for changing to tonjiru (^_^) While waiting, I noticed that there was self-service seasoned seaweed and furikake in the center of the restaurant, and also pickled kombu and daikon were free-flowing, which was a nice service♪ I prepared everything properly w The set meal consisted of half a grilled mackerel, tamagoyaki (rolled omelette), zaru tofu, small side dish (pickled daikon), rice, and tonjiru. I poured soy sauce over the generous amount of grated daikon served with the grilled mackerel and enjoyed it! It's not a huge grilled mackerel, but the fat is really good~(*'∇')/ Delicious♪ And the rice was "Hinohikari", cooked just right and fluffy! The tonjiru had a lot of ingredients and was very hearty - changing it was the right choice! Highly recommended (^_^) Furthermore, you can enjoy furikake, seasoned seaweed, pickled kombu, and plenty of rice! Of course, I asked for a free refill of rice. This is a highly recommended teishokuya (set meal restaurant) (´▽`*)/ Especially for weekday lunches, I think the cost performance is very good♪ The continuous flow of customers... it's easy to see why it's so popular! This is a set meal restaurant that is always a top choice for lunch in Fukuoka Tenjin (*'∇')/
