Second time purchasing chocolate individually. Kitovitter's chocolate. Just the right amount of bitterness without being too bitter. Crispy on the outside with a chocolate filling inside, delicious! This was my favorite! Jorika (pistachio) has a grainy texture with a slight hint of acidity. Not too much pistachio flavor though. Rochenoir (almond hazelnut) has a nutty flavor packed in bitter chocolate. I also got a truffle for purchasing over 1000 yen, and it was delicious too. I even want to buy a box of them, not too sweet and the texture on the outside is great. Although it's a bit pricey for three chocolates over 1000 yen, I would like to treat myself occasionally and buy them again.

I received a bonbon chocolat, and it was lemon-flavored! I was so happy! I prefer cake over chocolate, but receiving this made me happy. I chose the yellow chocolate plate at Matsuya Ginza during Valentine's, so it goes well with lemon! It's a limited edition with Andalusia lemon peel. The lemon cream is refreshing and goes well with the dark chocolate. The Citron Cracan has crushed crepe dough with peel inside, with a hazelnut flavor. Sometimes, chocolate is nice to have too.

At La Maison du Chocolat in Toranomon Hills, I searched for a gift among the delicious high-end chocolates on display. With Christmas approaching, I found Christmas-themed chocolates and boxes, which I purchased. The design of the box and the taste of the chocolates were well-received.

I think it's more delicious than the Echire ice cream I bought the other day. I like the chocolate and eclair here. But they don't sell eclairs at this shop. They have a variety of items around here, so I didn't buy much, but I thought I might buy again.

I received chocolate and macarons from La Maison du Chocolat! You can choose 6 types of macarons and make a set, and they were all really delicious. The cream in the chocolate that's sandwiched in between is so smooth and melts in your mouth with no resistance! Each flavor is perfect for chocolate, cute and delicious. The outer part of the macaron is crispy but delicate, and I accidentally broke a few by applying too much force, so be careful. My favorite is the passion fruit macaron called "Maracuja." The chocolate bonbons are elegant with a rich cocoa flavor, balancing the sweetness and bitterness of cocoa. I was so desperate to eat that I forgot to take a picture, but the macaron box was really cute. After just one bite of the bonbon or macaron, I felt truly happy. Located in Toranomon Hills, there is a chocolate shop. I bought some macarons that I didn't get at the Yurakucho store. I purchased a box of 6 Ganache macarons for 2,268 yen. You can choose your favorite flavors for each of the 6 macarons. It's so much fun! When I got home, it was tea time. We decided to each have one macaron. I chose Guayaquil and my family member chose Pistachio. The chocolate inside was so smooth and delicious! It might be better not to think of it as a traditional macaron when eating it. This could be a unique gift for someone who doesn't typically like macarons. Thank you for the delicious treat.

It's like a lovely shop with a jewelry section. It says "Paris" so maybe the chocolates are made in France. I like chocolate, but I'm not that picky about it. Well, I bought two chocolates for 1,080 yen because I'm interested in foreign goods. The staff was stylish and put them in a small paper bag for me. These kinds of places really appeal to my trendy side. Now, about the chocolate itself, there were two types: dark and milk. The taste was... well, just okay. The outer shell was firm chocolate, but the inside was soft and almost like half-baked. It wasn't bad, the sweetness was just right, and the texture and quality of the chocolate were good.

Located in a business tower directly connected to Toranomon Hills Station, La Maison du Chocolat is a chocolate specialty store. Established in 1977, it is one of the long-standing chocolatiers in Paris, France. While they also have a sit-in shop, the Toranomon store is take-out only. On this day, I had a sudden craving for macarons, so I quickly purchased some to take home. The items I bought that day are as follows (prices excluding tax): - Macarons ¥300 each x 6 pieces Macapuno (lime paste and coconut flavor) Abyssinie (cold brew coffee) Guayaquil (vanilla) Rigoletto (salted caramel) Salvador (raspberry) Pistachio (pistachio) Among them, the cold brew coffee was a hit!! Next would be pistachio followed by salted caramel, I guess haha They offer a total of 11 classic macaron flavors that you can buy here. Occasionally, there are seasonal limited editions as well. I bought it on my way home from work at the end of last year. Someone in my family wanted to eat macarons, so I remembered seeing a sign for macarons on my commute and decided to stop by this place. Although their chocolates are famous, I decided to buy macarons here. However, I was a bit worried about carrying them on the way back home because they are delicate and can easily get ruined. So, I bought boxed macarons. The pistachio flavor is popular here. I wanted to try it, so I carefully read the flavor descriptions on the paper. The flavors I remember are pistachio, raspberry, vanilla, caramel, chocolate, and one more that I can't recall. Despite the strong association with chocolates, the macarons here are also delicious. Especially the cream inside is tasty. I would like to buy them again. The gentle colors are soothing. I feel like macarons with dark colors lose some of their cuteness. I thought about buying chocolates for Valentine's Day, but I was too busy with work to stop by after work, so it ended without buying anything...

Purchased at Toranomon Hills. This is a takeout-only shop. The staff seems very professional. Prices are a bit high, but worth it. They also sell ice cream, but I went for the chocolates. Each piece has a strong flavor. I chose the seasonal rose cocoa. The cocoa aroma is intense, and even though it's a small piece, the cocoa and juicy filling burst in your mouth. The macarons have a rich nougat cream flavor. It's more about the cocoa than sweetness. It might be a safe choice for someone who knows their chocolates.

Since purchasing from the Maison du Chocolat shop at the Rockefeller Center in NY, I have become a big fan. They have opened a new store at the Toranomon Hills Business Tower. The small shop on the south side of the 1st floor is take-out only, with no seating area, but you can buy high-end chocolates. I wanted to buy the 10-piece assortment for 3,996 yen, but they were sold out today. The 16-piece assortment is priced at 5,400 yen, which seemed a bit too much for me, so I changed my mind and bought some friandises (small sweets) instead. The prices are quite high, but the Maison du Chocolat chocolates are really delicious, with a rich cocoa flavor. I also received a small bag of truffles as a bonus, which were really tasty. The smooth ganache mousse coated with dark chocolate melts in your mouth, and the slightly bitter cocoa powder adds a nice touch. Among all the chocolates, I liked the truffles the most. They also have macarons and seasonal ice creams. Although they are luxurious, they make perfect gifts and treats for yourself.

I bought a snack during my work break. The raspberry flavor is delicious.

All the chocolates were delicate in flavor and made me feel happy. The truffles were also very smooth and delicious. I want to try more varieties.

This chocolate is delicious! It's not too sweet, so it's perfect for when you're tired. It's like adult chocolate.

The chocolate festival has come again this year. Recently, I had lost interest in going due to the large number of people, but this year they are implementing measures to limit the number of visitors, which is understandable given the current situation (although people still gather at popular booths, which defeats the purpose). I decided to quickly visit a few shops and one of them was La Maison du Chocolat. As I looked at the showcase, I thought to myself, "Oh, they have this one." It's impressive that they brought the Orangette (50g \2,754), a classic and popular chocolate, instead of introducing new flavors or limited editions like other vendors at the event. This may be a reflection of the pride of being a chocolatier. The fact that they have been beloved for many years may be attributed to such aspects.
