I didn't know that the famous yakiniku chain restaurant Gyu-Kaku offers all-you-can-eat system. For 2,980 yen excluding tax, you can enjoy 80 items. The delicious items were beef hormone, thick-cut kalbi, white rice, wakame soup, bonjiri, and thick-cut bacon. It's very appreciated to be able to enjoy yakiniku at a fixed price. Of course, the meat is not extremely high quality, but considering the cost performance, it's quite satisfying. It's great when you just want to eat a lot of meat. The rice was also delicious, made from domestic rice.

I used the half-price campaign that is held once every four years. Despite some negative reviews about the Oomori branch on a certain website, I decided to visit the restaurant with some concerns as it might be crowded due to the campaign. However, my experience turned out to be completely different. Although the restaurant was busy, the staff were very polite and the service was good overall. The young staff members provided a high level of customer service. We enjoyed various meats, such as Kalbi steak, upper skirt, duck with green onions, and black wagyu chuck. We focused on higher-quality cuts as we felt the lower-ranked cuts were not as good. We also tried the cold noodles, ramen, kimchi, and namul. In total, we spent a little over 8,000 yen for two people, which was quite reasonable even without the campaign discount. I would definitely want to visit this restaurant again when I want to have reasonably priced yakiniku.

All-you-can-eat for 3 people, 70 items for 3278 yen each. We were able to eat to our heart's content and felt happy. We want to visit again after some time.

The other day, we decided to have yakiniku for dinner after being out and about since lunchtime! With two big eaters in tow, we opted for the all-you-can-eat course with 120 items! We started off with beef tongue and beer. It was amazing! There were so many options on the menu that we had a hard time deciding what to order, but since it was all-you-can-eat, we just kept ordering and eating! We even got dessert at the end, and everyone was completely satisfied. Thank you for the delicious meal!

A few years ago, I had some business in Omori and went there with my family. Recently, I moved to Omori so I came back to visit. First, I climbed a slightly dangerous staircase and entered the shop to be greeted with a loud "Welcome!" It felt nice. The atmosphere inside the shop is calm and I like it. I ordered kalbi, loin, recommended honey sauce pork, soup, and Caesar salad. The quality of the meat is not great. It sticks to the grill and the cutting is sloppy. However, the sauce is delicious so I managed to enjoy it. The Yukgaejang soup tasted like Gochujang. Hmm... the only thing that tasted good was the pork. I might go back because the service was good. But the staircase is a bit dangerous... it's not safe for drunk people or families with children.

I went to a lovable town, Omori Yakiniku, with my girlfriend for the first time. The restaurant was more casual than I imagined, but it was nice to enjoy beer and yakiniku at a reasonable price. There were a lot of young customers, making it a bit noisy, but it's okay. The meat, even though domestic ones are expensive, was decently good. The cost performance is good. Yakiniku has a magic power to energize people. Yakiniku power of Gyu-Kaku. Yakiniku is not just about the origin and brand of the meat, but also about the passion of the creators. We believe it can be the energy for our customers. We do not compromise on anything when it comes to yakiniku. That is the feeling we have put into "Gyu-Kaku Isshin." I will definitely go again.

As the years go by, the opportunities to go to Gyu-Kaku have become less frequent. This time, we decided to go without worrying about the price and enjoy some BBQ together! However, I have to admit that I may not want to go back again. First of all, our first drinks took forever to arrive. The restaurant was only about one-third full, so it didn't seem excessively busy. Also, the charcoal fire was too strong. Even when we set it to the lowest level, the flames were roaring and burning the meat. I think about 5% of the meat we ordered turned into charcoal. What a waste... I feel like the quality of the meat has declined compared to a while back. Maybe my taste buds have become more discerning? The hormone dishes were okay though. Lastly, the cold noodles we ordered took quite a while to come out. Although this time was on someone else's treat, I don't think I would be eager to go back, even if it was on my own dime.

When I first went to Gyu-Kaku, probably about 10 years ago, I thought it was an amazing yakiniku restaurant. Jazz music was playing, it was clean, they used charcoal grills, the side menu was extensive, and the lighting was stylish. Now, similar restaurants have popped up and it's hard to find one that exceeds expectations in terms of service and taste. However, when you calmly enjoy the restaurant, it's still a great place. If you forget the notion of it being Gyu-Kaku and just see it as a yakiniku restaurant, it's really delicious, clean, and has good service. Of course, the atmosphere is also nice. I wish the marbled kalbi had a stronger sauce, the green onion tongue was thicker, the kalbi soup was tasty, the cold noodles were thinner, and the rice serving wasn't so large.

I went there around 7 pm on a weekend in February, and it is located on the second floor up a narrow staircase. It was about half full when I arrived, but gradually became crowded and eventually full. The restaurant itself is quite old, and when I went to the restroom, the floor was sunken, making me think it was a trapdoor. Perhaps it's time for a renovation? I used a coupon from Hot Pepper to get a plate of meat, and also tried the special selection Harami, Nakaochi Kalbi, and Pitoro, but they all tasted the same as usual at Gyu-Kaku (laughs). I tried the tofu stew for the first time and it was very delicious, making me crave white rice, but it was too late by then! I was too full to have any rice. The staff, including the part-timers, were friendly and provided good service, so I had a pleasant experience. I will definitely stop by again when I'm in the area next time.
