Last time, I went to the standing bar "Kandaya" in Yotsuya alone, and this time I came with three people. "Kandaya" is basically a standing bar, but the Yotsuya branch used to be "Tengu Sakaba", so there are more table seats where you can sit and drink. Roughly speaking, there is only one long table on the left side near the entrance for standing, and the rest are tables for 4 people lined up along the right wall, and 8 people tables made by combining two 4 people tables lined up along the left wall. There are also table seats at the back, but I couldn't see how they were configured. The three of us were guided to the table seat at the far back on the left. When sitting and drinking, a seating fee of 110 yen per person is charged, and the standing-only "Senbero Set" (1,100 yen) introduced last time cannot be ordered, but today there were no standing customers until the end, and all customers were sitting and drinking. K-san ordered a "draft beer" (319 yen), and A-san and I ordered a "Hoppy Set (white)" (429 yen) to start. We ordered "Gyusukiyaki Nabe" (429 yen) for three people, "Shime Saba Sashimi" (319 yen), "Ika Sashimi" (429 yen), and "Grilled Gyoza 12 pieces" (550 yen). Especially the "Gyusukiyaki Nabe" and "Shime Saba Sashimi" were delicious. K-san switched to "sake (hot)" (319 yen), and A-san and I got "Naka (Baka Mori)" (330 yen). "Naka (Baka Mori)" is a system where half of the shochu is served in a glass and plenty of ice is served in another glass, and you can mix and drink it as you like. Since the original Hoppy glass was still there, I added ice to that glass, poured shochu, and enjoyed the second and third drinks with a fairly strong shochu flavor. "Naka (Baka Mori)" is recommended. It might be nice to start with the first set and "Naka (Baka Mori)" and start drinking with a stronger shochu. We also ordered "Harami (salt)" (1 piece 132 yen), "Kashira (salt)" (1 piece 132 yen), "Sunagimo (salt)" (1 piece 99 yen), and "Momo (salt)" (1 piece 99 yen) each for three people because we wanted to eat yakitori. I think you can also have tare-yaki, but I could only find salt-yaki on the smartphone. After that, we ordered "France-sourced Echire butter-coated addictive cashew nuts (Echire nuts)" (319 yen), "Bean sprouts namul (Baka Mori)" (429 yen), and "Sauce shrimp senbei" (209 yen) to liven up the mood. After drinking three cups of hot sake, K-san switched to "Tora Fugu Fin Sake" (429 yen). I also finished the first set + "Naka (Baka Mori)" with Hoppy and switched to "Tora Fugu Fin Sake". The "Tora Fugu Fin Sake" that came out was not very hot, and there was no match with a pop of fire that is typical of Fin Sake. A-san, who also finished the Hoppy, ordered the specialty of this restaurant, the "Tower Lemon Sour" (429 yen). He said he had been interested in it since he saw the menu. The lemon in the "Tower Lemon Sour" was frozen so hard that it was difficult to squeeze, and you had to drink it while avoiding the lemon. It seems difficult to drink. We also ordered "Iburi Gakko Potato Salad" (297 yen) as a side dish. I was looking for pickles or something to go with sake, but I couldn't find pickles on the menu. Among the items on the menu, "Iburi Gakko" (209 yen), "Sake Thief Cream Cheese" (319 yen), and "Ume Suisho" (385 yen) seemed to go well with hot sake. As the "next sake" for "Tora Fugu Fin Sake," I ordered "Refill Sake" (319 yen), and they brought it to me with a small bottle and poured it in front of me. We enjoyed for about two and a half hours, and the total bill for three people was 9,955 yen (about 3,318 yen per person). Thank you for the meal.
