As the Matsubagani (snow crab) season was coming to an end, I decided to go eat crab and found a place on Tabelog. When I visited, the restaurant did not have any stars due to a change in Tabelog's rating criteria, but I was drawn to the photo of the crab set meal on their website. The restaurant is located along the Miyazu Bay, a little towards Ine from the base of Amanohashidate. Inside the restaurant, there is a counter, a raised seating area, and tatami seating at the back. From the raised seating area, you can enjoy a view of Miyazu Bay. I ordered the crab set meal for 2,625 yen, which is a seasonal limited item during the Matsubagani season. The meal included: - Boiled crab (1/2 crab): It was pre-boiled and stored in the refrigerator, so it was a bit cold, but it came with authentic crab miso. The vinegar for dipping had a citrus scent and added a nice touch. - Crab sashimi (1/4 crab): It was soft and sweet. - Crab hot pot (1/4 crab): It was a crab sukiyaki dish. They used Iwatsu green onions. - Chawanmushi (savory egg custard): It was a delicious and rich egg custard, almost like it was made with light. - Side dish: Mizuna (Japanese mustard greens) and potato salad. The marmalade peel added a nice flavor. - Rice: Seasoned rice with yukari (dried red shiso seasoning). - Pickles: The set meal included a small-sized Matsubagani crab, and you could tell that the crab used was fresh. Besides the crab, the other dishes were also delicious with a special touch. Although it's a bit far from the tourist spots in Amanohashidate, I recommend this restaurant for serving authentic dishes.

I entered a Japanese restaurant and had a great experience. I was craving for fish dishes and stumbled upon this place while driving along the coast. The restaurant had a sushi bar vibe and I decided to try their "Nittanda" mini course. The dishes were served one by one. The potato salad with yuzu was refreshing, the sashimi was elegantly presented with local fish, the simmered vegetables and shrimp were good but lacked harmony, the tempura was a bit disappointing, the rice and miso soup were comforting, the grilled fish was the highlight, and the yuzu sorbet for dessert was a refreshing end to the meal. Overall, the food was delicious, although there were some minor flaws.

On Sunday, August 27th, during a trip to Yumura Onsen and Miyazu, we made a reservation at "Nifanda," a restaurant that had previously been closed due to time constraints. We called around 10 am and inquired about the availability of their Nifanda course meal for 3630 yen (tax included). They confirmed that it was possible to reserve it and asked about our arrival time. We mentioned that we would arrive around 11:30 am to 12 pm, and they said it was okay. When we arrived at the restaurant, they had already prepared our meal and served it within a few minutes. The sashimi, salad, grilled fish, simmered dish, steamed egg custard, tempura, rice, and miso soup were all delicious, and we were very satisfied with our decision to make a reservation. If we visit the Amanohashidate area again, we will definitely come back. The restaurant is non-smoking and has a parking lot. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

This year, I visited to enjoy the rare Tango Turban Shell. I was worried if they had it in stock due to the ban on sales the day before because of shellfish poisoning, but they had it available, albeit at a high price! I had a large serving of Tango Turban Shell sashimi and a summer set meal. It was my first time trying Tango Turban Shell, and it was delicious with a soft texture and rich flavor. The summer set meal included seafood chirashi sushi, eel noodles, side dishes, and potato salad, all looking very refreshing. The taste was also delicious and perfect for enjoying in this hot weather. The location was great, the food was delicious, and it was a wonderful restaurant experience.

I stopped by a traditional Japanese restaurant while traveling in the Amanohashidate area. The restaurant had tatami seating, a spacious parking lot, and a nostalgic atmosphere. The menu mainly focused on seafood, featuring a variety of fresh seafood from Miyazu and Ine. I ordered a seafood bowl with black sesame somen noodles, simmered dish, and soup, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sashimi was fresh and flavorful, while the black sesame somen noodles had a unique aroma that pleasantly surprised me. I also tried the extra order of fresh rock oysters, which were delicious. The restaurant's recommended dish, the turban shell, was not available at the time, but I look forward to trying it on my next visit.

I was looking for the limited-time Miyazu oyster at the beginning of summer. I arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes before opening, but unfortunately, there was hardly any stock due to some kind of shellfish toxin. I ordered 4 small oysters that were said to be available. Even though they were small, they were thick and delicious. I couldn't help but order some sake to go with them. I also ordered a large rock oyster, which was the most satisfying and rich oyster I've ever had. My husband ordered a nigiri set (2700 yen), a sushi set (2200 yen), and wild vegetable soba. In total, we spent a little over 14000 yen for the two of us. Our stomachs were full and satisfied. We will definitely visit again.

First visit. I came here because I heard they serve fresh seafood. I ordered a sashimi assortment and a seafood steamed basket set meal (2000 yen)! The sashimi was very fresh and delicious, with a nice firm texture. So happy~~ The steamed basket had big shrimp, scallops, squid, shiitake mushrooms, green peppers, oysters, and more, all with a nice firm texture that shows the quality of the ingredients. It also came with miso soup, chawanmushi, whitebait, simmered dish, and rice, so it was very satisfying. Such a variety for lunch at a great price! Thank you for the meal!

I had my usual sashimi, simmered red snapper head, fresh oysters, grilled sandfish with salt, butter-grilled abalone, and fatty tuna and amberjack sushi! My son didn't come with me this time, but he couldn't eat oysters before, but after trying the fresh oysters here, he said they were delicious and now he can only eat oysters from here! Everything is just amazing no matter what you eat.

My husband suddenly decided to go to Amanohashidate on Saturday afternoon, so I hurriedly made a reservation at Futamata and arrived just before 5 o'clock. We leisurely took a bath and then went to our 6 o'clock reservation. Everything we ate was delicious as always! ♡

On this day, even though ikura wasn't on the menu, they prepared a special ikura bowl for my child who loves it. The restaurant is not only delicious but also very kind and provides wonderful hospitality.
