I stayed overnight again and had the complimentary breakfast from 6:30 am. They had a variety of options including mango, apple, yogurt, granola, mashed potatoes, seaweed salad, radish, carrot, lettuce salad, corn, marinated Romanesco, bean sprout namul, sausage, boiled eggs, inari sushi, rice balls (salmon, spicy cod roe mayo), miso soup with tofu and seaweed, onion soup. They also had milk and vinegar as drinks. I didn't try everything, but I enjoyed all the items in the photo. Highly satisfied.

Today, I would like to introduce Comfort Hotel Tokyo East Nihonbashi. Comfort Hotel is an economy hotel brand born in America. I stayed here for a business trip. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet with both Japanese and Western options. One thing I liked was the salad, which had a unique twist. It was a mix of lettuce, mizuna, carrots, and chicken, making it a very hearty salad. The variety of the buffet was just right, not too much and not too little. They had all the basics covered. If the drink containers were not paper cups but instead made of ceramic or glass, it would have looked even better. That's what I thought.

This Golden Week, I traveled all the way from Kanazawa to Tokyo by Shinkansen to enjoy the top gourmet food at the number one food blog. I stayed at the relatively cost-effective Comfort Hotel Tokyo Kanda, which included a delightful breakfast. They had Calbee Full Granola and blueberries, making for a healthy breakfast. However, I had to be careful not to overeat, as I didn't want to ruin my appetite for the ramen shop's tsukemen later on. The hotel itself was very clean and nice, so I will definitely visit again.

Comfort Hotel is relatively affordable and I heard that their complimentary breakfast is delicious, so I stayed there for one night. It's convenient that breakfast is available from 6:30. The breakfast included fresh vegetable salad, salted boiled eggs, yogurt, granola, minestrone soup, sausages, potatoes, onigiri (forgot the filling), inari sushi, and rolled sushi. They also had several types of bread. In addition to juice, they also provided fruit vinegar as a drink option. The salad had not only leafy greens but also seaweed and corn, with barley and romanesco added, which was a pleasant surprise in the morning. I was very satisfied with the granola yogurt, which is my favorite. They also had self-service hot coffee available in the evening, and they provided cups with lids so you could take it back to your room, which was much appreciated. I had been feeling that the complimentary breakfast at another hotel I used to like was getting worse, so I would like to start using this hotel group from now on.

The Comfort Hotel offers free breakfast no matter where you stay. The variety may be limited since it's a free breakfast, but don't worry as long as it fills you up. Besides what is shown in the photos, there was also potato salad, around 6 types of onigiri, multiple types of bread, cereal, yogurt, and different kinds of soup on different days. On this day, it was an egg soup. There's no absolute way to use the breakfast tray, so it's fun to see how different people arrange their dishes. Enjoy! (lol)

In October 2011, I stayed at the Comfort Hotel Tokyo Higashi Nihonbashi in Bakurocho due to its convenient access for an event at Funabori Tower Hall in Tokyo. Breakfast is always something to look forward to at a hotel. Despite being busy in the morning, I made sure to enjoy a well-balanced breakfast, even eating my husband's share. While I don't have photos of everything, the breakfast buffet included cheese croissants, sweet croissants, raisin rolls, individually wrapped onigiri (I believe there were 5 varieties), inari sushi, scrambled eggs, sausages, cornflakes, yogurt, a variety of soups (miso, consommé, potage), coffee (espresso, American, blend), and fruits (persimmons, oranges). It was a compact buffet, but it satisfied my taste buds for a morning wake-up breakfast. There were many European and American guests staying at the hotel for the event in Funabori, and it seemed that their favorite items were Japanese miso soup and onigiri. After breakfast, I went out for a stroll on the street and saw the almost completed Skytree towering above. It was truly impressive!! Thank you for the delicious meal.

On December 4, 2012 (Tuesday), the conference starts today! I wasn't very hungry, but I forced myself to eat breakfast because I was worried about running out of stamina. More than half of the people staying at this hotel seem to be participants of the conference we are attending! Everyone was eating with their heads down, probably because morning greetings can be awkward. But the way everyone went for seconds was impressive! There were plenty of rice balls too. I found myself looking for the dear reviewer, Mr. Nagaiharu, and his female companion (?) by habit. (laughs) Turns out they were staying at a different hotel, right? The free breakfast at this business hotel was neither good nor bad, just average I guess? It's nice that they offer free hot coffee all day. It's easy and nice when you don't know anyone, but it can be awkward when you do, like in this breakfast situation. When there were two people I knew, I struggled to decide where to sit, so in the end, I gave up on hotel breakfast on the second day and had it at the venue instead. When you want to enjoy a meal leisurely by yourself, it's best to go right when they open or during the quiet time towards the end (although the food might be running out). Thanks for the meal.
