I was drawn to order the "Bukkake Oni Oroshi Karaage Udon" based on the name, but I was disappointed. It was late at night, so the ginger was almost gone, the tempura was dry, and the karaage was too crispy and dry. Even though I was hungry, I felt discouraged. The sweet potato tempura was also terrible. I forgot that this place is only good during the daytime, so this serves as a reminder for myself.

I went to Marugame Seimen in Harumi Triton for lunch. Despite living in Katsuragi for over 10 years, I didn't know there was a food court in Triton, so I was happy to find it. I ended up waiting in line for about 15 minutes because it overlapped with lunchtime. I had the Toriten Kioroshi Bukkake. Thank you for the meal.

Marugame Seimen is always crowded, but I still choose it because it's convenient and has good value. Triton Square has renovated its food court, making it clean and comfortable. The staff also diligently wipe down the tables, making it easy to enjoy.

I had the delicious Spicy Tan Tan Udon from Marugame Seimen after a long time, and it was still tasty. Of course, I finished with rice on the last bite. Shopping facility near Shinkai Triton's family home. So, this time, I went to Marugame Seimen. And, I was surprised twice. First, I went to Marugame Seimen even though I went to Tokyo. But, in the end, I'm glad I went. I could clearly see the difference between the two stores in Asahikawa. I even wondered if they were really the same store. I ordered the toppings first, with tempura flakes and green onions. Ah, I see, because it's a food court and there's no space to put these, they put them in first and then serve them. Then, you choose the tempura. And finally, you pay. And the familiar order. Cold noodles with tempura. Well, up to this point, it was a familiar order, just like in Asahikawa. But, there was actually a big difference. There were three types of tempura: chicken, squid, and chikuwa with seaweed. First, there was no regular chikuwa, only chikuwa with seaweed. In Asahikawa, there are two types, so I thought. Next, I didn't even notice in Asahikawa if there was squid or not, but this one was soft and delicious. And the biggest difference was the chicken. This one was bigger. I mean, isn't it 1.5 times bigger than the one in Asahikawa? I never thought there could be such a difference between stores. Sweet potato here, my mom and sister ordered it, so I just took a picture... It's huge, I've never seen such a big sweet potato. I don't know if Asahikawa has sweet potatoes or not, but I've never seen tempura this size. Oh, the tempura at this store is so big... The udon is a different story. This time, I was surprised to eat it here for the first time. The texture is completely different. Yes, the texture of Marugame's udon is like a firm, chewy feeling when you bite into it. But in Asahikawa, it's not there. The texture is firmer at the Harumitsu store than at the 4th Avenue store. But compared to that Harumitsu store, I could taste a much firmer Sanuki texture, maybe even twice as firm. Yes, this is it, this is the texture of Marugame. In Asahikawa, both stores are still soft. If you go to other regions, please try to compare and taste them. Furthermore, I thought the broth here was more intense in the Kanto style. It seems that the taste of the broth also varies a bit depending on the store manager's touch. Thank you for the meal.

I casually explored Harumi Triton Square for lunch today. Exiting from Exit A2b of Toei Subway Oedo Line Kachidoki Station, I turned right onto Kiyosumi Street and walked straight ahead on Harumi Street towards Harumi. After walking for a while, I reached a bridge with a moving walkway. I crossed the bridge on the moving walkway, then made a left turn and walked a bit further until I saw the entrance to Harumi Triton Square on the right. Upon entering, I walked straight ahead and found a food court at the end. On the right side of the food court, I visited Marugame Seimen Harumi Triton Store. At 1:00 PM on a weekday, there were about 10 people lined up in front of the store. I looked at the menu, which included items like Tomato Tamago Curry Udon, popular recommendations like Mentaiko Shirasu Oroshi, and various other udon dishes. I decided to try the Tomato Tamago Curry Udon in a regular size. The dish consisted of curry broth with various spices, fresh tomatoes, and beaten eggs, which created a rich and flavorful soup. The udon noodles were chewy and went well with the curry. The meal also came with a side of rice for a refreshing change of taste. Overall, I enjoyed the Tomato Tamago Curry Udon and finished it quickly. It was a satisfying meal at Marugame Seimen. Thank you for the delicious food.

I went to Marugame Seimen after a meeting in Triton for the first time in a while. The most popular dish, Chicken Tartar, had four large pieces of chicken and was very filling. The chicken was also delicious. The only downside was that the tartar sauce was a bit lacking. The portion was a bit small, and the sauce was more like a thin mayonnaise. Well, considering the price and portion size, I can't complain about the lack of luxury.

I tend to gravitate towards a certain restaurant for lunch, even though there are other options in the food court. I'm from Shikoku, so maybe that's why I always go for udon. Most items are reasonably priced, but the kitsune udon is a bit on the pricier side. When I added sweet potato tempura and fish cake, it came to 800 yen. It was a bit disappointing that the broth was lukewarm.

I usually always get kamaage udon, but this time I tried kitsune udon (regular) with sweet potato tempura. It cost 590 yen. This place is located in a food court, so there are plenty of seats and it's easy to dine alone. Well, Marugame Seimen is known for being popular among solo diners.

Visit date: 2/25/2020 (Tue) 12:15 Once again, I lined up for my own handwriting near the entrance, connecting to the queue. About 13-14 people lined up in one row, so with 3 rows, that's around 40 people. In cases like this where the line is this long, it usually takes about 15-20 minutes to purchase and be seated. On this day, I ordered the Duck and Green Onion Udon (regular) for 670 yen (tax included). With a coupon from the app, it was 620 yen after a 50 yen discount. They served the free green onions on a separate plate, and then I sat down. At first glance, it seemed like there was a lot of duck meat floating on top, which was a bit disappointing. The taste was good, with a rich duck broth and nicely grilled green onions, but the duck meat floating was disappointing. The udon noodles were not the usual smooth and slippery type, but had a soft and fluffy texture. The duck was cooked just right, not too tough. However, the floating duck meat was disappointing. It may be difficult to remove, but it was still disappointing. Overall, thank you for the meal.

Date of visit: 1/14/2020 (Tue) around 11:45 AM. The line on this day formed a line in the shape of the kanji character "己", extending towards the entrance of Triton's food court. Based on observing the orders, many customers seemed to be ordering simple kake udon, indicating its popularity. Today, I decided to give it a try for the first time. The tempura topping for the day was nanohana, with a 30 yen discount using a coupon. I ordered the regular size kake udon with free toppings of green onions and ginger, and sprinkled a moderate amount of shichimi for a touch of spiciness. It was delicious and I can see why it's so popular. The simplicity allows you to truly enjoy the flavor of the udon. The slightly bitter nanohana tempura was enjoyed both on its own and dipped in the broth. It was a delightful meal.

During lunchtime at Triton Square, the longest line is always at Marugame Seimen, but even lining up in a "self" shape, the line moves fairly quickly. I didn't time it exactly, but it felt like around 15 minutes. On this day, I chose the Oyster and Egg Ankake Udon (regular size) for 690 yen, along with a Chikuwa Tempura for 120 yen. I topped it off with some green onions and dug into the oysters. Since they are cooked, the size of the oysters is decent, but the quantity is amazing! I was trying to count them, but by the time I finished writing this review, I forgot the exact number... From the photos, I can see at least 8 oysters, but I feel like there were even more (*´艸`) The egg in the ankake was fluffy and smooth, and the Chikuwa Tempura was deliciously crispy. Well, while traditional udon is tasty, indulging in a luxurious udon like this once in a while is also nice. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I had lunch at the food court below my workplace. I arrived prioritizing time, but there was a line of about 30 people. I waited in line thinking it was okay. I ordered "Curry Udon for 490 yen." Last time, the udon was soft, but this time it had decent firmness. I ordered the Sanriku seaweed udon (regular) for 390 yen, a hot spring egg for 70 yen, kashiwa tempura for 150 yen, and squid tempura for 120 yen, totaling 730 yen. Although it looked like a regular Marugame Seimen, the employees were from various countries. The tempura was small and dark, indicating that the oil was old. The udon was soft and lacked firmness. Recently, my work break times have been late, so even though it's lunchtime, it feels more like dinner. On this particular day, as usual, there was a change in plans and I ended up exhausted from a hectic move, finally managing to grab some udon. There's a Marugame Seimen in Triton's food court, which has a unique atmosphere. The udon here is nothing particularly different from others. I had the cold tororo soy udon with shrimp tempura and chicken tempura. It would have been nice if it were a bit colder, but I guess that's not possible. I wish I had asked for more soy sauce as well.

Date of visit: June 20, 2019 (Thursday) around 13:30 at Triton Square's food court, this shop where you can have the cheapest lunch meal. Even though it was past lunchtime, there was still a bit of a line. It's quite popular. I had the beef toro udon on this day. It comes with beef, grated yam, and a soft-boiled egg. The amount of meat is substantial, and the combination of grated yam and soft-boiled egg makes it easy to eat smoothly. I was surprised by the crab stick tempura. Wow, the recent "crab sticks" are amazing. The generous portion and the delicious taste of the crab sticks were impressive. Thank you for the meal.

I tried ordering the Cheese Kama-tama for the first time. Honestly, I wish the cheese flavor was stronger. The Carbonara-like taste I was expecting was not there. Maybe I should go for the Mentaiko Kama-tama after all. The meat udon dishes have a sweet and salty taste as their selling point. The Mentaiko Kama-tama is all about the egg and spicy Mentaiko. The Cheese Kama-tama should be all about the cheese! (laughs)

Well, I personally don't really care about how easy it is for a woman to enter alone... Since the food court in Harumi Triton has a lot of corporate offices, there are quite a few "solo diners" even at night. Especially during the day, there are even more. So, it is quite easy for people of all ages and genders to enter. -What I ordered- - Bukkake (noodles with sauce) - regular, cold, 290 yen - Vegetable tempura - 130 yen I love vegetable tempura because of its volume. I like to mix it into my bukkake, break it apart, and eat it together with the noodles. That's my go-to dish.
