It's a shop located about 1-2 minutes north of the east exit of Yoyogi-Uehara Station. The interior is clean and has a chic atmosphere. The scent of smoked scallops and cheese was nice. The beef fillet and Tasmanian pepper were intentionally lightly salted to pair well with whiskey. The butter-sautéed Chinese broccoli was topped generously with fried onions. The main drink is whiskey, with a wide selection of official brands. Thank you for the meal.

Visited a shop in Uehara, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, after the New Year. The shop opened last autumn and had a shining sign in the quiet town after the New Year. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially for a whiskey beginner like me. I was recommended an Irish whiskey, BUSKER, with soda as a toast. It was easy to drink and delicious for a beginner like me. For the second drink, I tried TEELING, another Irish whiskey. It had a richer and more vibrant flavor compared to BUSKER. I think I felt that way because of the different way of drinking it. For the third drink and onwards, I tried smoky whiskeys from Islay. The taste comes from peat being used to smoke the barley. By listening to the explanations while drinking, I gained a deeper understanding of whiskey. I was very satisfied with trying rare whiskeys like LAPHROAIG. The food mainly consisted of game meat such as deer, boar, and pheasant. I ordered the deer loin & pink pepper cajos, the parent chicken and game Spanish-style stew, and the wild boar miso & smoked oil. Each dish had a strong umami flavor, becoming more delicious with each bite. The dishes paired well with whiskey. The combination of Irish whiskey and game meat made me feel like an adult. I thought about studying whiskey more after this experience. I will definitely visit again.
