I changed jobs and my workplace moved to Hibiya, so I started visiting this place around the end of last year. They offer over 10 types of coffee beans ranging from light to dark roast, which I really like because I can choose based on my mood of the day. I haven't tried them all yet, but it's fun to discover my preferences. The cafe is located diagonally across from Yurakucho Electric Building, with a full glass exterior and a beige and white interior theme. You can see the greenery of Marunouchi Nakadori, creating a sense of openness. They have power outlets and Wi-Fi available, making it a great place to work. The carrot cake, which tends to sell out at lunchtime, has a high chance of being available early in the day, and if you're lucky, you might come across canelés as well. *Canelés are not available every day* The carrot cake has a gentle flavor, moist texture, and is topped with red pepper on the frosting, which surprisingly goes well together! The latte is delicious with a strong espresso base. When you order a baked good, they draw a cute illustration on the napkin, which is heartwarming. I used to drink lattes a lot when it was cold, but lately, I've been enjoying the hand drip coffee they make after you order. The smiles of the staff always brighten my day. They sometimes close for photo shoots in the mornings on weekdays, so I recommend checking their Instagram for their operating hours.

MCR HIBIYA is located at 1-9-4 Yurakucho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. The small interior is glass-walled, creating an open atmosphere. The seating is a bit narrow, but the velvet sofas and arched window-like walls give a stylish feel. They offer several specialty coffees, but only blends. I tried the light roast blend for 600 yen and the salted caramel cake for 500 yen. The coffee had a refreshing citrusy acidity, and the pound cake with salted caramel was rich and delicious. The cute emoji and "Have a nice day" on the hand towel added a nice touch. The staff was friendly and made the experience cozy. Thank you for the meal.

On weekdays, it was not crowded and I was able to relax. Since the seating is limited, it may get crowded on weekends. The somewhat bitter cafe latte paired well with the sweet pound cake. The temperature was just right, and the latte art showed attention to detail. It was a nice atmosphere in the cafe.

Opened in 2022, 'MCR HIBIYA COFFEE&BAKE' offers @m.c.r.69's original roasted coffee, as well as pastries from 'HanaCAFE nappa69' and 'KOSUGI CAFE nappa69'. The cafe has both counter and sofa seats, with power outlets under the counter tables for those looking to work (Wi-Fi available). While some reviews mention the prices being high, they are in line with other cafes in Tokyo and the cozy atmosphere and friendly service make up for it. - Matcha & red bean pound cake: 500 yen + ice cream and cherry topping: 200 yen - Cold brew: 650 yen. For more details, check out the blog 'futatabiblog'.

It was around 2 pm on a holiday, but I was able to enter without waiting in line. It seemed to be a hidden gem as it was not crowded, allowing me to relax and enjoy my time. There were many types of coffee to choose from, which made it fun to select. The staff kindly provided explanations. The counter seats had outlets, making it a good place to work as well.

Water-dripped coffee made with the cold-brewed coffee 650 Tokyo Blend has a mild bitterness and sweetness, with a subtle acidity supporting it. It's a delicious iced coffee. If you don't like a coffee that is too bitter or acidic, this is recommended.

A small café located in a hidden spot. There are 7 seats at the counter and 4 velvet bench seats, which can accommodate about 8 people. There is also a table with 4 seats, but the blue velvet bench seats are not very comfortable for sitting for a long time. It might be better to sit at the counter by the window, although depending on the time of day, the sun may shine in. The café has comfortable Wi-Fi and background music. I ordered a decaf iced latte, which was brought to my seat. The coffee was delicious. Since it's a quiet space, conversations from other customers can be easily heard. There were no foreigners present during my visit.

Visited on Sunday at 2pm. There were 2 groups waiting. A small, stylish cafe with only counter seats and couple seats that girls would like. Ordered a cafe latte and pound cake. Both were delicious. They offer decaf and various types of coffee, so coffee lovers may enjoy it. Thank you for the meal!

A cafe near Peninsula Hotel. The appearance and interior were very popular among women. I used it for takeout, and they mentioned that they have coffee using carefully selected beans, but they also have options priced at 300 yen, which is quite reasonable. I bought one of those and it had a refreshing taste perfect for hot days, very easy to drink. There are cute illustrations with messages in black pen that are a bit hidden by the coffee, which made me feel warm inside. I would like to use it casually again.

I wanted to drink iced coffee and lemon pound cake coffee, so I visited this cafe. I enjoyed watching people passing by on the street while sipping my coffee and getting work done. It was very cozy. My work progressed well, and the coffee had a nice acidity, which was refreshing on a hot day.

Next to the Hibiya Peninsula Hotel, there is a glass-fronted cafe called MOTOMACHI COFFEE ROSTERY's Hibiya branch. It seems like a place where you can enjoy delicious coffee with a wide variety of options. The popular choice is the latte art, but on this very hot day, I opted for an iced soy latte. Although they recommended some sweet treats, I had to pass since I was saving room for dessert. The cozy seating area in the back was a bit tight, but the blue sofas added a nice touch to the ambiance. The iced soy latte that arrived shortly after was rich and creamy, with a strong coffee flavor. It was slightly bitter, but well-balanced with a fantastic aroma, making me regret not ordering a regular coffee. I heard there are power outlets under the tables at the counter seats, making it convenient for those who need to plug in. The cafe doesn't stand out much, so it might be a hidden gem. It seems like more people opt for takeout, so next time I might bring my laptop to work while enjoying coffee and pound cake.

I ordered a Jasmine and White Chocolate pound cake with a café latte. The pound cake was delicious! The café latte was also delicious! It was quiet as it was a weekday morning, so I was able to relax until meeting up with a friend. I would like to stop by again for a break during shopping or other occasions.

Hibiya Price~(T . T)(T . T) It is a cafe with relatively high prices. I ordered a matcha latte (750 yen) - the drinks are not particularly delicious, but the cakes looked tasty! It seemed popular as many people were ordering them. The interior is small but cozy and relaxing. It might be a hidden gem of a cafe. Thank you for the meal~

I saw beautiful latte art on social media and decided to visit MCR HIBIYA in Yurakucho. I ordered a Mon Ginger Earl Grey Pound Cake (500 yen) and a Cafe Latte (650 yen). When I arrived at the shop on a rainy weekday just before 10 am, there was one foreign couple and one solo customer already there. I was able to sit down right away. The counter seats by the window also have power outlets. Perhaps because it was a rainy day, after the other customers left, I was the only one there. It might be a good place to work or relax when you have some free time in this area. The takeout coffee during lunchtime (open weekdays until 2 pm) is reasonably priced at 300 yen. The latte art I was looking for was lovely. I used to only drink black coffee, but since I started exploring cafes, I've started ordering lattes because I realized I might discover the barista's "self-expression." I enjoyed it on this day as well. Thank you for the meal.

A café that opened near The Peninsula Tokyo hotel. There is a time limit for seating (60 minutes for drinks only / 90 minutes for drinks + food) and there are few seats, so it's lucky if you can find a seat! I couldn't handle the heat, but the hot latte art was cute. Cold brew coffee ¥650

The café is quite good if it's not crowded, although it's a bit small. They have free Wi-Fi, which is a plus. The customer service was very good, and the café food was delicious. It's a hidden gem, but I wonder if everyone already knows about it, haha. I'm thinking of aiming to go there late at night next time!

I visited the cafe "MCR HIBIYA" located on the 1st floor of the Sericulture Hall in Yurakucho, Tokyo. It was my first time entering the Sericulture Hall, despite having used several high-rise buildings in Yurakucho before. "MCR HIBIYA" is like an oasis in the midst of these buildings. The interior has a stylish and chic atmosphere. However, some people may find the proximity to pedestrians passing by the store a bit too close. The price range for drinks is generally around 600-700 yen, which is a bit on the higher side. The drip coffee (HOT) that I ordered was 600 yen including tax. If you order it iced, it will cost an additional 100 yen. Please note that only cashless payments are accepted. You can choose from 12 different types of beans for the drip coffee, which is recommended for those who are particular about their coffee. I chose option 1 without looking at the menu carefully. The coffee had an excellent aroma and taste, giving off a luxurious vibe. It was indeed a high-quality cup of coffee.

Daughter and I moved from Chidorigafuchi area to Hibiya area for cherry blossom viewing. Daughter wanted to go to a cafe. She mentioned there was an open cafe-like wagon behind the Peninsula. There was also a tall coffee shop across the street. We arrived near this shop. There was no wagon behind the Peninsula. Maybe it's only open in the summer? The cafe across the street has changed to Pronto. Suddenly, this shop caught our eye. It was empty and seemed like a good choice, so we went in. They had a coffee chart that was easy to understand and choose from. I, who like acidity, chose the Triplet, while my daughter, who likes bitterness, chose the 11 Classic Chrome. Both were perfect for our tastes. Before we knew it, my daughter had sneakily ordered a pound cake. It was lemon-flavored, with a firm texture and a strong lemon flavor from the fruit and peel incorporated into it. It was sour and delicious. There were outlets under the counter, so my daughter is considering revisiting for work. It was lucky that it was empty, but it's a small shop, so it may get crowded at times.

Located in the Hibiya area, this trendy café is known for its coffee. It has Instagram-worthy sofa seats, and while it gets crowded on weekends, it's relatively quiet on weekdays. The café latte was rich and flavorful! I definitely want to go back again!

I went to a newly opened cafe that has been catching my attention lately. It is located next to the Peninsula, which is amazing. The pastries are simple. They offer cookies, pound cake, carrot cake, and more. The carrot cake was sold out. Since I was short on time, I got them to go. They gave me a hand towel when I mentioned I would eat during the theater break. The cookies are 200 yen each, which I thought was expensive, but it's understandable given the location. I had the pound cake at home the next morning. It was also 500 yen per slice. Expensive! But it was a proper pound cake and delicious. It had a simple and gentle sweetness. That day was the opening day of "Jekyll & Hyde," starring Makiji Ishimaru in his graduation performance. He played both Jekyll and Hyde here, and tomorrow he will play Harry Potter. Isn't that amazing? Will Potter accidentally appear between Jekyll and Hyde? The cast board had photos, just like the King Arthur show the other day. It's exciting. It's a photo spot, but it's crowded, so it's hard to do things like jumping. I sat in the second row that day, and the view was quite good. Makiji Ishimaru has a youthful voice. Seductive. Sexy. I think his character is quite young, but there was no sense of incongruity. DREAMAMI had a soprano voice that was very elegant and beautiful. I loved her in the Disney movie "Try Everything," and I hope she appears in more musicals. She was cute and had a radiant presence! Reina Sasamoto was outstanding. The eroticism was the strongest I've ever seen. The ensemble cast was all talented, and the level was really high. The applause didn't stop in the familiar "Time Has Come" even for a moment. I wanted to keep applauding! The music was all wonderful, and there was no time to take a break. It was a day where I felt once again that there are so many amazing works I have yet to see. I'd love to see the cakey version too!

After walking in Hibiya Park, I stopped by this cafe with a friend. It was a weekday around 10 am, and there were only a few customers inside. We ordered a decaf latte and a chocolate brownie at the counter. My friend had a carrot cake and a latte. We shared the cakes and they were both delicious. The chocolate brownie was rich and not too sweet, just how I like it. The carrot cake had just the right amount of carrots and was also very tasty. The latte art was cute and made us happy. We had a relaxing time. Thank you for the meal.
