I wanted to explore new delicious pasta dishes, so I went to a wine bar called Hiyake. The owner, who seemed to be the master, brought a handwritten menu with only 4 lunch options, each priced at 900 yen. You could add a drink for an additional 100 yen. I chose the mentaiko pasta. After about 5 minutes, a simple cabbage salad arrived. Then, after another 5 minutes, the pasta came. It turned out to be mentaiko cream pasta, not just mentaiko pasta. I actually love mentaiko cream pasta, but I wish they had told me beforehand so I could have looked forward to it more. The pasta was al dente and cooked to my liking, but the seasoning was just average. It had a generous amount of black pepper, but I wished I could taste more of the mentaiko flavor. The owner promptly cleared the plates as soon as we finished eating, indicating good attentiveness to the customers. With only one owner handling everything from cooking to serving to billing, the atmosphere was not conducive to enjoying coffee or anything else after the meal.

There is a restaurant on the second floor of a building right near Ningyocho intersection. This place used to be an Indian-Nepalese restaurant called Kailas Villa. Originally, Hiyake was a dining kitchen-style restaurant in Tomizawa-cho that focused on Shizuoka prefecture ingredients, but due to the building renovation, it was relocated here. After the relocation, it became an Italian restaurant. During lunchtime, I passed by Ningyocho intersection and saw the lunch menu posted, and to my surprise, they had ginger pork curry. Feeling nostalgic for the ginger pork curry I had many times in Tomizawa-cho, I decided to go in. So, how was the ginger pork curry at Hiyake in Ningyocho? The ginger pork had a good portion size, and the salad was also generous. The curry was Keema curry with a raw egg yolk on top. The Keema curry was spicy and delicious. It is different from the ginger pork curry in Tomizawa-cho, but I think it is delicious in its own way.

This day was the day of a drinking party with colleagues from work. Although they are colleagues, there is no hierarchical relationship (except for some cases) and they are people with no vested interests, so I was looking forward to it. The focus was more on conversation than on eating and drinking, but there was definitely an emphasis on the selection of wines. The staff were also very nice, but the atmosphere was a bit subdued, possibly because there were no other customers besides us. The interior of the restaurant gives off a stylish impression, so I think it would be suitable for a girls' night out or a casual date. It is recommended as it is close to the station.

It was very delicious~ (˶‾᷄ ⁻̫ ‾᷅˵) Especially the spaghetti was exquisite. Turn left at exit A5 of Ningyocho Station, head towards Starbucks, and you'll find it right away!! There's a sign so you'll know immediately!! It has a welcoming atmosphere, easy for solo diners to enter!! It seems like they also serve lunch ===========

The appetizer assortment with coffee and dessert for 1200 yen is a great deal! The Portuguese wine was also delicious.

The food wasn't bad, but I couldn't help but be bothered by the fact that there was no chef. The menu was also extremely simple.

I entered without thinking and found a counter seat, where they offered half-sized dishes which I appreciated. The food was delicious. I am very satisfied.

I jumped in because it was the right time, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was open until late at night, and the staff were kind and attentive. The beef was tasty, and it was a great memory.

In a sea of French restaurants that rely heavily on pasta for lunch, this place stands out with not only pasta but also unique hamburger sauces like almond, cilantro salsa, and raclette. The daily changing HIYAKE lunch menu is always exciting to look at. From breaded fish to bouillabaisse, tender octopus in tomato sauce, couscous, paella, Moroccan-style dishes, and more, it's a surprise every day. The Galician chestnut pork confit was tender and delicious, and the accompanying vegetables were also tasty.

I went to an Italian restaurant called Hiyake near Ningyocho intersection. Even though I'm Japanese, sometimes I feel like eating Italian food. I just had to have pasta or pizza. I started with a toast with Asahi Super Dry beer. Asahi is always good! I ordered a salad, appetizers, and Wagyu beef. The salad came with a unique homemade dressing that was really tasty. The beef was tender and flavorful. For the pasta, I asked for an original creation. It was a tomato-based pasta and I enjoyed every bite. It was nice to see them make it fresh on the spot. For dessert, I had their homemade tiramisu, which was sweet but not too heavy, and delicious. The owner and chef were very friendly and great to chat with. It's a place I'd be comfortable going to alone. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

[Location] We have relocated and opened on the second floor of a building right near the Ningyocho intersection. This used to be where the Nepalese curry restaurant Kailas Villa was located.
[Store, Interior] The biggest change is that the concept has shifted to Italian cuisine. For lunch, pasta is the main focus rather than set meals. The interior has 7 counter seats, 1 table for 4, 3 tables for 2, 1 raised tatami seating for 2, and 1 raised tatami seating for 4. The number of seats has decreased compared to before. Lunch hours are the same as before, until 3pm, which is convenient for those who like to have lunch later.
[Cuisine] The restaurant is registered as Italian on Tabelog. Lunch menu: Pasta Lunch \850 A. Small Shrimp and Bamboo Shoots in Oil Sauce B. Penne Arrabbiata C. Smoked Salmon Komatsuna Cream Sauce All come with salad, bread, and a drink. Hamburger Lunch \850 Hamburger with Balsamic and Mayo Mustard Salad, choice of bread or rice, and a drink. I ordered the Hamburger Lunch. First, the salad is served, followed by the hamburger and rice. The hamburger had a bit of juicy texture. The sauce was delicate, almost too light for my taste. Overall, the portion size is not as generous as before, so it may not be enough for men.
[Drinks] For drinks, you can choose from iced coffee, hot coffee, iced tea, and hot tea.
[Service] Farewell Ginger Pork Curry!! I feel like it would have been fine to just have the ginger pork curry and hamburger from the previous restaurant for lunch. It's a shame that they no longer offer the ginger pork curry. Perhaps it's due to the size of the restaurant or kitchen facilities. I hope this review helps you in choosing a restaurant.
