ゴチソウくん
The other day, I visited this place for a dinner party, Fukuju for Japanese cuisine. A friend recommended it as they had been to a related restaurant before, so I made a reservation in advance! The restaurant only has private rooms, which is very convenient. The Special Kaiseki course costs 11,000 yen. Considering the location and atmosphere, it's definitely worth it! Imagine being taken there for a dinner party and being told, "Today, we're having the Special Kaiseki!" That would be pure happiness. First, they served clam soup to heal the hangover from the day before. The appetizer included five dishes: Kyoto carrot, shark cartilage, mozuku seaweed, octopus, and pickled vegetables. The lineup was perfect for sake. The shark cartilage had a strong plum flavor, and the octopus was tender and served beautifully. The sashimi was red snapper, served with a touch of flavor that made it delicious as is. The ikura rice bowl came at the right time, and the amount was just right. Who wouldn't like this? It was so good! The whitefish ponzu was soft and melted in the mouth, perfect with a highball. The steamed dish was crab chawanmushi, with a rich flavor that paired well with sake. The grilled dish was marinated cod, a favorite of mine that was irresistible. I was so happy, I couldn't stop smiling. I paired it with a strong black dragon sake! The sushi course included 7 pieces: chutoro, flounder, squid, shrimp, marinated tuna, small skin, conger eel. The vinegared rice was slightly firm and crisp! The chutoro and raw shrimp were a perfect match and delicious! I would love to try their sushi course next time. For pickles, they served turnip and turnip greens. The soup was red miso soup. For dessert, they served creme brulee. This area in Tamachi is essential for work, so knowing about a restaurant with great atmosphere, taste, and cost performance is a must! You can't go wrong, and your guests will surely be pleased! Thank you for the meal!
