This is a cheese import wholesaler, not a store. They hold a garage sale once a month for inventory adjustment, and it has become a monthly event with long lines attracting media attention. The items purchased are not for eating, so it may not align with the purpose of "Tabelog," but this is a note. The sale starts at 1:00 PM, but the line extends in the morning, reaching two blocks away. There may be a bit of a scramble at the start like a bargain sale, but security guards control the entry to prevent overcrowding, so there is not much confusion. The staff are kind and helpful, explaining the taste of the items even in the crowded situation. The checkout process is quick! (They are used to it) I was able to get a lot of items at a great price, pushing through the crowd. As this is "Tabelog," here are some of the items I purchased: - Parmigiano: There are many hard parts close to the skin. I like this, so I enjoy chewing on it. - Metre Comté Intense Wash Type: A disk-shaped cheese with a diameter of 10cm and a thickness of 2.5cm, weighing 220g. The surface is camel to orange in color, while the inside is yellowish ivory. Despite being three days before the expiration date, it holds its shape well even at room temperature after cutting. The texture is sticky, chewy, rich, and very smooth. It's like slow-melting butter with a lingering saltiness and some bitterness. The rind has a crunchy texture and a scent reminiscent of attic wooden furniture, with a hint of ammonia. It has a nutty, deep flavor that may not sound delicious, but it's irresistible for those who appreciate strong flavors. I definitely want to go back and hope they continue this event. As a first-timer in the line, I was prepared for the worst, but I had a great time chatting with people around me. It was a fun experience. Thank you to everyone who accompanied me!
