Shopping at a garage sale held irregularly! Business use shredded cheese 1kg 1200 yen Dutch smoked cheese (Westzaner) 800 yen Cheese pick 3 for 1000 yen German Camembert (Alpenhain) 1 French (Saint-Maure Vieupoussin) 2 This shredded cheese, when baked on toast until crispy, has a delicious taste similar to a pizzeria. Smoke cheese goes well with nuts and is a great companion to beer. Saint-Maure is a white mold goat milk cheese with a strong and distinctive aroma, but it goes well with salads. It's probably around 50% off the retail price, so if you're looking for a great deal, be prepared for a long line at the start time. However, I recommend going after 5 PM when you don't have to wait in line. There are quite a variety of items available, so it's quite fun just to look around. Thank you for the meal!

On December 14th (Friday), there was a long line on Harumi Street near Tsukiji. I was curious but passed by, and on my way back from Ginza, there was no line. I decided to stop by and found a cheese wagon sale! There were still plenty left, so I bought some to try. The next wagon sale will be held on January 25th (Friday).

Cheese lovers would be ecstatic. I'm not very knowledgeable about cheese, so I don't have a preference for specific types or names. I just like what I like. Some can be quite pricey, close to 2000 yen, but there are cheaper options available as well. In addition to cheese, they also offer olives, olive oil, and prosciutto. They have a monthly sale on weekdays during lunchtime, which is great for housewives looking to pass the time.

I found out about this cheese wholesaler from a magazine or TV show, and was surprised to learn that it was located so close to me! I visited the store right away, but they only open once a month for inventory adjustment. It was always crowded with long lines, making it difficult to visit. Finally, I managed to visit and bought some Mimolette, Camembert, and cheese for fondue. I have only tried the Mimolette so far, and it tastes just as good as the high-end cheese from a regular supermarket, but at a cheaper price! I will definitely stock up on cheese the next time I visit. Make sure to check their monthly opening date!

Here at "World Cheese Association" in Kachidoki, they are quite famous for selling cheese, cured ham, olive oil, and other ingredients related to cheese once a month. They sell these products at a discounted price because they are approaching their expiration date. Since the products are mostly imported and expensive, it's a great deal if you can consume them before they expire. Today happens to be the monthly event, so I visited the place after work. When I arrived, there was a huge crowd. The first challenge was to navigate through the crowded shelves to reach the products. After a bit of a struggle, I managed to get a rare cheese for my cheese log. Back home, I prepared for a drink and tasted the "Basil Rosso," a natural cheese with tomato paste. The cheese had a strong Parmesan flavor with a hint of tomato taste. The acidity of the cheese and tomato was mild, but the unique umami and richness of the cheese were delicious. The herbal notes refreshed the palate after the intense cheese flavor. Although I bought a rare cheese for the experience, there are many other types of cheese available for cheese lovers to enjoy. Thank you, Cheese Association, for the meal. Check the event dates on their homepage. The rating given is for the cheese itself, not the tomato paste cheese mentioned in the review.

This is a cheese wholesaler located in Kachidoki, Chuo-ku. They have a warehouse and office here, but they do not usually sell cheese at this location. To buy cheese from this company, you would need to go to Fromage Tenma Bridge in Osaka or shop online. However, they have a garage sale here once a month where they sell their cheese. I visited the garage sale on September 24, 2021, around 6 pm, close to closing time. I have visited twice between the last review and this one, and there was always a decent selection of cheese available. They mainly sell natural cheese cut and packaged by the company, but they also have cheese packaged by manufacturers, processed foods like ham, and wine. I purchased Ricotta Naturale (400 yen), Provolone (300 yen per 100g), Camembert Alexandre (900 yen), Select Camembert (3 for 1,000 yen), Castello Creamy Havarti (3 for 1,000 yen), Grilled Cheese (3 for 1,000 yen), Serrano Ham (950 yen), and Soft Salami Sausage slices (450 yen). I also bought two bags of pasta for 200 yen each. The quality of the pasta is good as they are made from durum semolina flour. The cheese and other products had varying expiration dates, so it's possible to enjoy them for a few months if chosen wisely. Cheese enthusiasts should definitely check out their garage sale with some ice packs for a great selection.

The popular World Cheese Company garage sale in Kachidoki offers a variety of cheeses at discounted prices. They also sell a wide range of Italian food products. The sale takes place every last Friday of the month in the afternoon until evening. Please note that they do not sell on other days. There are discounts of up to 50% or 70%, so it's first come, first served. It can get crowded at certain times. Some items may have a close expiration date, but many are still good. They also offer products in bulk sizes, which can be shared among different households. On the other hand, there are items like olive oil and wine that do not have expiration dates to worry about. I bought 3 pizzas for 350 yen each, cream cheese with orange peel for 600 yen, a cheese combo of mascarpone and gorgonzola for 500 yen, 2 cans of anchovies for 150 yen each, and frozen porcini mushrooms for 600 yen. Most of the porcini mushrooms were just the stems, but at 600 yen instead of 1,800 yen, it was a good deal. The next day, I made pasta with shaved parmesan, porcini mushrooms, and pancetta. It had a great aroma and a nice texture! I enjoyed it with my favorite spicy sauce (bought separately at Kachidoki Market).

Unfortunately, it was raining on the last Friday of September, but there was a long line. It may have been because there was no event in August. I stood in line with an umbrella, chatting with a dandy next to me about cheese and other topics. I waited for about an hour, but it was worth it. The highlight this time was the 1kg New Zealand cream cheese for ¥500 each. I bought six of them, along with other cheeses like Appenzeller, Sprinz, Dedemuanne, Mimolette, and Comte. I also got a piece of Parmigiano, which is great for cheese lovers. It was heavy, but I was very satisfied. I hope they continue to hold this monthly garage sale. Thank you! ♡

This is a review of a cheese wholesaler located in Tsukishima, Chuo-ku. They have a warehouse and office here, but do not normally sell their products at this location. To purchase their cheese, you would need to visit Fromage Temmabashi in Osaka or shop online. However, they have a garage sale once a month at this location. I visited the garage sale on June 26, 2020, around 6 pm. There was a variety of cheeses available, including Raclette, Taragani, Forest Smoke Pack, and Castello Brie. The Raclette was strong-smelling but delicious when paired with bread and wine. The Taragani had a minty flavor and was great when grilled. The Forest Smoke Pack was a smoked processed cheese that melted beautifully when heated. The Castello Brie was a major white mold cheese from Denmark. I also tried the Villani Napoli Salami Picante, which was recommended by the staff and was a good deal. Overall, it was a satisfying experience with unique and delicious cheeses available for purchase.

This is a cheese import wholesaler, not a store. They hold a garage sale once a month for inventory adjustment, and it has become a monthly event with long lines attracting media attention. The items purchased are not for eating, so it may not align with the purpose of "Tabelog," but this is a note. The sale starts at 1:00 PM, but the line extends in the morning, reaching two blocks away. There may be a bit of a scramble at the start like a bargain sale, but security guards control the entry to prevent overcrowding, so there is not much confusion. The staff are kind and helpful, explaining the taste of the items even in the crowded situation. The checkout process is quick! (They are used to it) I was able to get a lot of items at a great price, pushing through the crowd. As this is "Tabelog," here are some of the items I purchased: - Parmigiano: There are many hard parts close to the skin. I like this, so I enjoy chewing on it. - Metre Comté Intense Wash Type: A disk-shaped cheese with a diameter of 10cm and a thickness of 2.5cm, weighing 220g. The surface is camel to orange in color, while the inside is yellowish ivory. Despite being three days before the expiration date, it holds its shape well even at room temperature after cutting. The texture is sticky, chewy, rich, and very smooth. It's like slow-melting butter with a lingering saltiness and some bitterness. The rind has a crunchy texture and a scent reminiscent of attic wooden furniture, with a hint of ammonia. It has a nutty, deep flavor that may not sound delicious, but it's irresistible for those who appreciate strong flavors. I definitely want to go back and hope they continue this event. As a first-timer in the line, I was prepared for the worst, but I had a great time chatting with people around me. It was a fun experience. Thank you to everyone who accompanied me!
