Today, I had a meal with my talkative older sister - surprisingly, she suggested going to Saizeriya and I happily agreed. We visited around 8 pm on a weekday. I ordered a draft beer (400 yen for a mug) and my sister chose a cute glass and we cheered. I ordered the Olive and Anchovy Garden Salad (450 yen) which was quite fancy with olive and anchovy paste as dressing on the side. It had a strong anchovy flavor with a hint of garlic, perfect for a healthy option for women. We also tried the Italian-style Tripe Stew (350 yen) which was a recommended dish, but my sister didn't seem to enjoy it much. We also had the Warm Salad with Tender Edamame and Pecorino Cheese (200 yen) which my sister chose for its healthy appeal. The edamame had a nice flavor on its own, and the cheese blend was great. We also had the Spicy Chicken (300 yen), a classic dish that both my sister and I enjoyed. Even though it was a bit messy to eat, we couldn't stop. We also had a half-liter decanter of white wine (400 yen) which my sister, a beginner in alcohol, also enjoyed. Before we knew it, it was already closing time at 10 pm. Time flies when you're having fun. It was a great meal. Thank you.

In the past, we used to drink together three times a week with the usual group of middle-aged men. I wonder what they are all up to now. Feeling a bit sentimental, I visited the place after a long time on a weekday around 6 pm. The draft beer was Asahi Super Dry for 400 yen (tax included), and drinking it from the plastic mug here always makes it taste even better. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad for 350 yen, and noticed there was more chicken than before. The Caesar dressing seemed a bit less, but there was plenty of grated cheese, corn, and broccoli, so I was satisfied enough. I also got the "Hell's Eggs" for 300 yen, which came with tomato sauce and a double sunny-side-up egg on bread. Breaking the half-cooked eggs and mixing them with the garlic-infused tomato sauce, then spreading it on the bread was a delicious combination. Of course, I had to add another round of bread for 150 yen to scoop up all the tomato sauce perfectly. I also ordered the 500ml decanter of white wine for 400 yen, which I always enjoy. Today, it was served a bit higher than usual, which was a nice surprise. The restaurant was only about half full when I arrived, but it quickly filled up to about 80% capacity as more customers came in. The staff were the same as before, young and energetic. Overall, it was a pleasant experience revisiting Seiseki Saizeriya after a long time. The menu had changed slightly, making the options for appetizers even more appealing. The value for money is still high, and I was reminded that this is a place where you can enjoy good food and drinks. However, I couldn't help but feel nostalgic about the old days when we used to drink together. Tonight's visit was a mix of nostalgia and enjoyment. Thank you for the meal.

It had been a long time since my last visit on a weekday just before 7 pm. - Draft beer (Asahi Super Dry) for 400 yen (tax included) - Chicken Caesar salad for 350 yen: A favorite chicken salad now in Caesar style, with crispy bread and broccoli, and a delicious Caesar dressing. - Lamb rump steak for 900 yen: I was a bit frustrated and ended up ordering this expensive dish. It arrived in about 15 minutes, with a good thickness and appearance. It had a unique lamb aroma when eaten as is, and a curry-like flavor with the addictive spice mix. The meat had a good amount of fat and a moderate firmness, providing a satisfying meaty texture. - Wine decanter (500ml) for 400 yen: A great price for a decent amount of wine. The atmosphere was lively, with mostly elderly customers and office workers, but the main group was a group of students. Unfortunately, I was seated right in the middle of a group of students in school uniforms. When I asked to be seated at a table with only one or two people, I was declined because the table was not yet cleared. It was a bit embarrassing but also amusing to be surrounded by teenagers at my age. Overall, my experience at Seiseki Saizeriya after a long time was enjoyable. The lamb rump steak was thick, with a good firmness and lamb flavor, making it a great choice for those who enjoy meat at a reasonable price. Inside the store, there were many people spending their holiday afternoon as they pleased. We ordered Garden Salad (L) (tax included 500 yen), Arrabbiata (same 400 yen), Cabbage Pepperoncino (same 400 yen), and Devil-style Young Chicken (same 500 yen), along with the drink bar (same 200 yen). I mainly enjoyed the "Devil-style Young Chicken" with rice (same 150 yen) this time, and I think I learned about this dish for the first time then. "Diavola" means "devil" in Italian, and it refers to a chicken dish with crispy skin. The crispy skin and juicy meat inside were delicious.

We ordered Garden Salad (L) (tax included 500 yen), Milano-style Doria (same 300 yen), Margherita Pizza (same 400 yen), Shrimp and Broccoli in Aurora Sauce (same 500 yen), and Seafood Paella (same 600 yen), along with the drink bar (same 200 yen). I mainly enjoyed the Seafood Paella, which was full of ingredients. According to Saizeriya's website, the saffron rice used in this Seafood Paella is of particularly high quality.

There is a drink bar and soup bar inside, so hand disinfection is a must. Inside the store, we saw people enjoying their leisurely New Year holidays. Now, we ordered Hayashi & Turmeric Rice (¥500 incl. tax), Cabbage Peperoncino (¥400 incl. tax), Milan-style Doria (¥300 incl. tax), Friuli-style Frico (¥300 incl. tax), and Margherita Pizza (¥400 incl. tax), along with the drink bar (¥200 incl. tax). By the way, I, an uneducated person, had the "Friuli-style Frico" for the first time on this occasion. The menu describes it as "A regional dish from Friuli, Italy. Smooth texture of potatoes & cheese." According to Wikipedia, Friuli is a region in northeastern Italy where Friulian is spoken, having a historical and cultural identity. And Frico is said to be one of the representative dishes of that region. This "Friuli-style Frico" was delicious!

Visit date: July 31st (Friday) 13:00-13:25 During a walk, I stopped by Saizeriya to hydrate. It was lunchtime and the restaurant was almost full. We were seated at a table for two and then informed that the ordering process had changed. We had to fill out an order form with the menu number and quantity. For example, red wine 250ml was WN03, and sautéed spinach was AP03. We tried to use the call button, but it didn't seem to be working, so we called a staff member. After handing in the order form, we waited for our order. The wine arrived after 5 minutes, followed by the spinach after another 3 minutes. With everything ready, we toasted with the self-proclaimed "Quick Drink Set for 400 yen"! Due to a recent price change, we paid with four 100 yen coins. Feeling refreshed, we sipped on the red wine and nibbled on the spinach. The spinach was seasoned with salt, pepper, and chili flakes as usual. Wanting a change, we sprinkled some powdered cheese. It was delicious. While browsing on our phones, we finished the Quick Drink Set in about 20 minutes. After settling the bill, we continued our walk towards the Tama River. Saizeriya has now introduced a cashless system, and I look forward to continuing to support them. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at the restaurant around 2 pm on Saturday and noticed that the "this seat is not available" stickers for social distancing were gone, and the place was bustling with young people. As a middle-aged person with a weakening immune system, I hesitated to enter, but I was seated in the back area where smoking was allowed before. I filled out my menu choices on a sheet of paper and handed it to the staff, who didn't speak but just nodded when taking orders. It must be difficult to remember all the menu items and numbers. The menu prices were all increased by 1 yen, and each item had a code number. I enjoyed my time with a 250ml red and white wine and chorizo. On this day, we finished work on time, had drinks at a discounted price at a local bar, and then headed to our second stop. It was already past 7 pm on a weekday when we ended up at Saizeriya. But this time, we decided to order something a bit different! We ordered: - Magnum (1,080 yen x 2) - Rib steak (999 yen) - Milan-style Doria (299 yen) Yes, except for the steak, our choices were pretty standard, but we all tried our best, held on, and paid for it! The taste was surprisingly good. The steak sauce was delicious, and we felt satisfied after eating the meat! Of course, our frugal friend decided to dice up the steak and eat it little by little. The Milan-style Doria was a classic choice. It's very satisfying when eaten while still hot. Unfortunately, we usually eat it slowly, so it tends to get cold. The biggest selling point of this place, the Magnum, is worth mentioning. It's a 1.5L bottle of wine at a great price and very easy to drink. The alcohol content is slightly lower than usual, making it suitable even for kids. Already finished and a bit fuzzy on the details. Oh well, I might end up going back again... With the salad, I even got change back from a one coin. It's nice that Italian food can be affordable, especially for a budget-conscious salaryman like me. Near Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Station, there is a Saizeriya restaurant. On a holiday for lunch, we were planning to go to a Saizeriya a bit further away when the car engine started acting up. We left the car at a dealership in Seiseki-Sakuragaoka and headed to the Saizeriya near the station. We arrived around 2 pm. We were second or third on the waiting list, but we were quickly seated at a table due to the fast turnover. The orders placed by a budget-conscious family were as follows: Chef's Salad (299 yen) x 3, Small Shrimp Salad (349 yen), Garlic Grilled Mussels (399 yen), Spaghetti Aglio e Olio (299 yen) x 2, Mediterranean Pilaf Oven-baked (499 yen), Vegetable Sauce Hamburg (499 yen), Rice (169 yen). The Chef's Salad was delicious with Pecorino cheese and French dressing! My wife upgraded to the Small Shrimp Salad. The two big eaters and I opted for the budget-friendly Spaghetti Aglio e Olio, which was simple yet delicious with garlic, chili pepper, and olive oil. Next, the Garlic Grilled Mussels arrived. The biggest eater, who had already finished the spaghetti, quickly grabbed the largest mussel! I also managed to secure the second or third largest mussel. Before we knew it, the meal was over. My wife found the taste of the Hamburg lacking, so I had to lower the overall food rating. However, the three men were full and satisfied. The total came to 3,410 yen. It's probably cheaper than the car repair cost, right? Don't bring that up! (-_-メ)

Located on the first floor of "The Square" mall near Seiseki-Sakuragaoka Station. I took a break at 3 o'clock after shopping in Seiseki-Sakuragaoka. There are not many cafes or family restaurants around Seiseki-Sakuragaoka, so I decide where to have tea based on my mood that day. But today, I had time to spare and went for the drink bar. I ordered Peperoncino (299 yen) + set drink bar (190 yen) for the family and Half Tiramisu (199 yen) + drink bar (190 yen) for myself. The drink bar alone costs 280 yen, so I always order an extra item to make it worth it. I initially planned to have cake, but since I had a light lunch, I opted for pasta. The Tiramisu arrived in 2-3 minutes, and the Peperoncino in about 5 minutes. Both the pasta and Tiramisu tasted as expected for the price. But getting a "meal + free drink" at this price is quite a delight for families. I was quite thirsty from walking today, so I ended up having multiple refills of Coca-Cola.

2014.12.15 Here we are again. Always a reliable choice, Saizeriya. They have new menu items, so we ordered them. First, we got the Salami and Shrimp & Mushroom Pizza (half & half) for 499 yen, White Cabbage Mixed Pickles for 199 yen, and the usual Decanter White (250ml) for 200 yen. I already ate the food, but the pizza had two large slices of salami on one half, and shrimp, mushrooms, cheese, and vegetable sauce on the other half. The salami was not too salty and very delicious. The shrimp pizza with vegetable sauce was also very tasty. I would definitely want to eat this again. We also ordered the Soup-filled Salted Vongole (499 yen) as an extra. It had plenty of clams and was very tasty with lots of soup. However, I personally prefer the Vongole without the soup. Oh!!! My favorite Popcorn Shrimp is not on the menu. A Saizeriya without Popcorn Shrimp is like ramen without bamboo shoots - it's just not the same!!! Thank you for the meal♪ 2014.11.07 Assistant and I splurged at Saizeriya. We had the REGGIANO LAMBRUSCO (slightly sparkling red wine for 1080 yen). It was a bit light but easy to drink and surprisingly tasty for the price. I recommend it. For snacks, we had the Spicy Chicken (299 yen), Escargot (399 yen), and Focaccia (119 yen). It was still delicious. I used to order it a lot because I like it. The taste has not changed. According to the assistant, the song that often plays at Saizeriya is called "Ame" (Rain). Cheap, anyway. Milan-style doria is 299 yen! However, because it's cheap, it's always crowded with high school students or moms with kids. My recommendation is the slightly more expensive but delicious small shrimp cocktail salad for 459 yen. It has a lot of shrimp and tasty dressing, so I always order it.
