★3.2 [FILE 927] 2012/08/24 (Fri) 11:56 Visited a bistro that opened in December 2007 on the 2nd floor of the inconspicuous Roppongi Arms Building, just past the Keyaki-zaka Terrace on the west side of Roppongi Hills, passing through Roppongi Street from Roppongi. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere with a dark brown wood theme. There are a total of 20 seats, including 6 tables by the window on the right side, 2 tables in the front left, 4 tables in the front left, 2 tables in the back left, and 6 counter seats in the back right. There were no other customers at the time of the visit. After 30 minutes, there were only 3 groups and 5 customers, so the lunchtime was very quiet. The customer base is 70% male and 30% female. The service is provided by one male staff member who is polite and efficient. The lunch menu includes: Regular Omelette Rice with Mushroom Sauce for 950 yen, Various Vegetable Salad for 950 yen, Curry Rice with a choice of beef tendon, shrimp, or mushrooms for 950 yen, Daily Pasta with Clams (salt) for 950 yen, Daily Fish dish of Shrimp Fry for 950 yen, and Daily Meat dish of Chicken Confit for 950 yen. All dishes come with soup, coffee, and dessert. For coffee, you can choose from Hot/Iced Coffee or Hot/Iced Tea. I ordered the Chicken Confit for 950 yen. The meal included Consomme Soup, Chicken Confit, Rice, Banana pastry, and Iced Coffee. The soup, made with chopped onions and bacon, had a strong garlic flavor and was very delicious. The main dish, Chicken Confit, was served on a white plate with plenty of tomato sauce and a generous portion of potato salad. The sauce had a rich flavor combining tomato and demi-glace, and the potato salad was well-seasoned and satisfying. The juicy chicken was also delicious. The dessert was a mini-sized banana pastry. The Iced Coffee was rich and tasty. The comfortable and calm atmosphere of the restaurant, along with the hearty and flavorful meat dish, made it a relaxing lunch spot with a warm wooden interior, garlic-infused soup, mini dessert, and coffee.
