Today's dinner was steak. It's been over 10 years since I last went to a proper steakhouse, so I'm a bit nervous. The restaurant is "Steakhouse Shingo" in Gion. I decided to go with the C course, which comes with caviar. I also ordered a plum wine highball. The appetizers were delicious, especially the beef tataki with special sauce. The shrimp with lemon was refreshing, and the caviar was best enjoyed on crackers. The onion gratin soup was hot and comforting. For the main course, I chose a 180g ribeye steak with garlic chips, lemon, and special butter sauce. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the side of warm onions, carrots, and green peppers complemented it well. The baked potato with plenty of butter was a treat. I also ordered a black wagyu cutlet sandwich to go. For dessert, I had a sweet melon. The service was attentive and the atmosphere was great for both new and regular customers. I highly recommend this steakhouse to anyone looking for a new favorite spot. I can't wait to enjoy the cutlet sandwich at home. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

After a year, I visited Steakhouse Shingo again. I was worried that my appetite had decreased as I aged, but I had no problem finishing my meal. The steaks here are truly the best. The deliciousness can only be understood by those who have eaten it. I don't know why, but it's true. Thank you for the meal.

It has been three years since my last visit. This time, I challenged myself with a 300g steak. I regretted compromising three years ago, so I had to come back. The steak at this restaurant is still the best. I don't know when I'll be able to come back again, but I definitely want to try the 300g steak next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

One of the representative Kyoto steakhouses, I revisited Shingo-san. This time, I ordered the 200g fillet steak, which was delicious as always, but I preferred the fillet from last time. It had more marbling and was a bit heavy. However, for those who like fatty cuts like Chateaubriand, it would be an exquisite choice. It seems that the quality can vary depending on the procurement. The richness of the fatty meat was truly exceptional. Thank you for the meal!

I visited a steakhouse called "Shingo" where the president of the company I admire is a regular. This restaurant has a history of over 60 years and even after relocating, it remains a popular spot with celebrities visiting in disguise. This time, I reserved the 6-seat counter on the second floor, which allowed for a more intimate dining experience. The highlight of the meal was definitely the steak. I ordered a 200g filet mignon, cooked to perfection on the iron griddle. The marbling on the thick cut of meat was beautiful, and the chef served it at just the right level of doneness. It was truly delicious. I even found it better than the Michelin-starred Kobe steak I had recently. Some customers even order a 500g steak (I saw the person next to me do so), but 200g was enough for me to enjoy. The garlic rice served at the end was also outstanding. Despite the restaurant's low rating on Tabelog, I could see why the president frequents this place - the casual atmosphere, the excellent chef and staff, all make it a must-visit spot for me. My father took me out for an early birthday celebration, and it was such a happy memory. The onion gratin soup for starters was delicious, and the steak was incredibly tasty. The buttery sauce had a rich flavor that complemented the sweet taste of the tender meat. Lately, I've been finding fatty meat hard to eat, but the wagyu beef here had just the right amount of marbling. I'll work hard so I can come back here again.

I wonder how many times I've been here. I visited Mr. Shingo after a long time. It's a famous restaurant from the Showa era. The restaurant is full of customers. The atmosphere is excellent. Tonight, I had a 350g fillet steak cooked rare. I prefer to order individual items rather than a set course. The salad dressing is delicious, I asked for seconds. I've had up to 4 servings before, but tonight I had 2. The steak is cooked perfectly. The owner chef's skill shines through. The steak sauce, made with plenty of butter, is not overpowering and you can have as much as you want. It was delicious.

Located just a 5-minute walk from Sanjo Keihan Station or Gion Shijo Station, Tsukimi Shrine is in a very Kyoto-like setting. I visited a long-established steakhouse in Kyoto, selected as one of the top 100 stores. You can choose the portion size for the main steak dish. The rare meat was tender and had a nice bounce to it. The buttery sauce was incredibly delicious. Even though I thought it might be too much, surprisingly I finished it without feeling too full. I also enjoyed some red wine. The Wagyu fillet cutlet sandwich souvenir was also delicious.

The appetizers and soup were substantial and visually appealing, making the dishes exciting. The meat was tender and delicious. I had heard that the garlic rice at the end was amazing, but I was already full from the meat and could only take one bite with a spoon. However, just from the smell, I could tell it was delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant, where I sat at the counter, felt like it had a lot of regular customers, giving off a sense of tension, at least in my personal perception.
