I pass by the shop every day on my commute. Since it's difficult budget-wise for dinner, I checked the menu to see if I could afford lunch. Limited to 6 servings, simmered hamburger for 1650 yen, which is within my budget range. If it's sold out, I might go for the Australian beef steak 150g for 2300 yen. 100g is 1650 yen, but the quantity is not enough. Today, I wanted to have lunch early, but I was delayed by a meeting. It was a 15-minute late lunch, but I wonder if there's a seat available. I can't see the seats, it's all private rooms. Even though I'm alone, I was guided to the "Ayame" room. I was surprised to see a private room with a teppanyaki grill that the chef can enter. The large room next to it has a fountain in front flowing like a waterfall. This is a restaurant where entertainments and upper-class people use. There was a hamburger set! I haven't had tea with a tea saucer in a while. The salad and pickles on the tray arrived first, but I couldn't eat them all because I needed to take photos. When the next dish was served, the staff also said, "I'm glad you're enjoying the meal." I opened the lid of the miso soup and stew. The miso soup was red miso. It's the Demiglace sauce that I'm used to eating, but it was smooth, creamy, and had a hint of sweetness. The hamburger was tender and I ate it with plenty of sauce. What was buried in the sauce? Beef? No, no, it was two potatoes. Broccoli, and thick pasta were also in it. I've eaten a lot of salty sauce that has been simmered, but it's the first time I've been able to finish it with such a smooth taste. Using a private room, I deeply felt that luxury is something necessary in life. The salad was beautifully arranged on a large plate, and the dressing was delicious. Was the dressing French? This time, I resisted the urge to have a second helping of rice. I feel a bit hesitant to use the bell to call the staff. I'll treat myself a little more luxuriously tomorrow since I'll be working from home. I asked for a coffee and crème brûlée set for 900 yen. The unused silver sugar bowl and milk pot were sparkling. The pink cup & saucer were cute. You could tell that they used high-quality cream. The surface was perfectly baked. This is delicious, and at a service price, it's a sure bet. Thanks to being seated immediately, I was only in the restaurant for an hour, even with dessert. The total bill was around 2800 yen, but I treated myself as a reward for working hard this week. Next time, I'll go for the Australian beef steak instead of domestic, even if it's a bit more expensive.
