I went around noon, but because it was a long weekend, there was a long line. It was very hot and I couldn't wait, so I went to the adjacent restaurant in the same group! The prices were okay, I guess. I'm from Hokkaido, so I'm quite critical. Next time, I want to try Uni Tora from the morning!

I visited the Uni specialty store "Uni Tora Nakadori Store" at Tsukiji Outer Market. The shop has been featured on TV multiple times and there is always a long line during lunchtime, especially with foreign customers. When I went for dinner, there was a sign saying "Fully booked for today's reservations..." but thankfully, the staff kindly allowed me to enter. I tried the Uni tasting bowl "Miyabi - carefully selected 5 types" and I love comparing different types of Uni. In the summer, the purple Uni is in season and it is especially sweet and delicious. Even when it's not in season, the Bafun Uni never disappoints with its rich sweetness. The sashimi platter was also amazing, especially the tuna which is top-notch in Tokyo. I definitely want to visit again in the future.

I ordered the Kana de Uni (sea urchin) dish for ¥5900!! Being able to compare three different types of uni makes me happy!! However, it's quite rich with egg yolk and ikura (salmon roe), so next time I might go for the one without ikura. ⭐️5⭐️ I want to keep coming back. I love it so much that I don't want to tell anyone. ⭐️4⭐️ If someone asks for a recommendation, I will introduce this place. ⭐️3⭐️ I think I will visit again. ⭐️2⭐️ Hmm, I would prefer to try a different restaurant next time. ⭐️1⭐️ Personally, I do not recommend it. Today, I had lunch at Uni Tora in Tsukiji. Since the end of the pandemic, there have been many tourists visiting Tsukiji. They offer uni tasting sets, which are quite enjoyable. I used to visit the Torazou Betsukan restaurant on the second floor often, but now it has moved to the first floor. The second floor was quieter and more relaxing, making it convenient for solo diners. Today, I ordered the Uni Bowl, but decided to go for the two-color bowl with tuna as well. The uni was delicious, melting sweetly in my mouth without any unpleasant bitterness or odor. Next, I enjoyed the tuna, with fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, and lean tuna all included. The fatty tuna instantly melted in my mouth when dipped in soy sauce, making it irresistible. Wrapping the tuna in seaweed with rice or mixing the medium fatty tuna with rice, I quickly finished my meal. Strolling around Tsukiji after lunch was also enjoyable. If you ever visit Tsukiji, I recommend trying Uni Tora for a great dining experience.

(I went to the West Street store again, but it still doesn't show up. The slightly larger Nakadori store opens at 7:00 am, while this counter-only store with 9 seats opens at 8:00 am. It was 7:40 am on a Sunday morning. There was a line at the Nakadori store, so I came here and waited for a while, and was the first to enter. This time I had tuna lean. It was delicious.)

Six years ago, before Tsukiji Market moved, I came to eat at this restaurant, but it wasn't as popular back then and there were no lines. Unexpectedly, after many years, it has become an online celebrity shop with multiple branches, and it was packed with people from the morning, with lines still forming past 2 p.m. However, whether it's due to being too popular or not, it's not a bad thing for us customers, but in the end, they forgot one of our orders and just said sorry verbally without doing anything. The service is really bad.

The uni (sea urchin) here is amazing. You can watch them prepare the uni right in front of you. This small restaurant only has counter seats, but the wait time might be shorter compared to the main street location.

After seeing it on TV, I decided that I had to go to Tsukiji when I went to Tokyo. It was a weekday at 12 o'clock, and although there was a line on TV, I didn't have to wait long and was called in about 5 minutes. I thought I would be able to eat at the counter in the shop, but it seemed to be a different store or affiliated shop, and I was taken there to eat. I wanted to take pictures and capture the atmosphere, but unfortunately I couldn't. I heard the names of the 5 kinds of sea urchin and the seafood bowl, but I was told that this and this were Bafun sea urchin from Hokkaido, and this and this were Murasaki sea urchin from somewhere else. I was a bit confused and thought, "Wait, so only 2 kinds?" But I couldn't ask again, so I just ate. Well, it was delicious, so I'm happy. Maybe it was 5 plates, not 5 types?

I lined up around 10 o'clock on Sunday and waited for about an hour. It is indoors, but the ventilation is not good, so it is a good idea to take measures against the heat while waiting. I ordered a domestic sea urchin, negitoro bowl. I asked them to remove the cucumber and seaweed. The combination of sea urchin and negitoro was incredibly delicious. When the bowl arrived, I thought the portion might be a bit small, but surprisingly, I ended up feeling quite full.

The place seemed to be the main store and there was a long line, but luckily we found a seat available and could sit down easily. Every bowl looked visually appealing and delicious. (But not friendly on the wallet.) The taste was also very good, and the bowls that came out were very beautiful. However, it is very expensive.

I wanted to eat seafood bowl at Tsukiji Market because it's my first time here. However, it was unexpectedly crowded with tourists from overseas and some shops were closed. I wonder if there are more shops in Toyosu now? Anyway, I went into a restaurant that looked delicious and had their Three-color Bowl. The tuna, salmon roe, and sea urchin were all sweet and delicious without any fishy taste! Well, considering the price, it seems reasonable.

To be honest, this restaurant is more geared towards tourists, and locals probably wouldn't go. I waited in line from the morning, and waited for an hour for lunch. The freshness is not a problem, and the price of the seafood bowl varies depending on the type of sea urchin. I think three or four types are enough, but with six types, it becomes hard to distinguish between them.

I stayed in Tsukiji so I definitely wanted to eat sea urchin, and I found this restaurant. Thank you Tabelog. I went after filling my stomach a bit at Sushidai. The sea urchin tasting bowl was good, but the tuna looked delicious too, so I enjoyed two bowls of the ones in the photo. The chef explained the origin of the sea urchin and talked about various things, so it was fun. Of course, the sea urchin and tuna were incredibly delicious.

I visited Uni Tora in search of delicious sea urchin last year. Unlike last year, there was a huge line with a one-hour wait, but thanks to some people leaving and a group ahead of me, I was able to get into the annex fairly quickly. I had a platter with three types of domestic bafun sea urchin and two types of murasaki sea urchin, and it was absolutely delicious. I look forward to visiting again next year. By the way, all the customers in the restaurant were foreigners.

I visited the restaurant because there was a long line at Tsukiji. I ordered a tasting set of 5 types of sushi. I thought the quality might be good because the turnover seemed fast, but except for the purple sea urchin, the quality seemed a bit poor. The prices are also high, so I can't really recommend it.

At the end of the year, I visited Tsukiji Outer Market in the morning for some shopping. My friend and I arrived at 7:00 am for some morning activity. Although we were there right after the opening, we couldn't make it in time for the first round and had to wait in line for about 20 minutes at the front of the queue before we could enter. The interior of the restaurant had only 8 counter seats, but it was clean and had a sense of cleanliness. Since it's a tourist spot, there were many foreign customers. The chef was friendly and engaged in lively conversation. We tried the "奏" (uni three ways and ikura and nakaochi donburi). You can compare three types of uni - purple sea urchin, horse dung sea urchin, and regular sea urchin. It seems like comparing uni is a trend lately. The uni, ikura, and nakaochi all had a rich flavor and were full of umami. The combination of breaking the egg yolk for a flavor change made it even more savory and creamy. The taste, service, and cozy atmosphere were all great, but the only downside is that uni is quite expensive...

I had seen this place before and was curious, so I visited first thing in the morning during a business trip. It was around 8:00 AM and I was the first customer. Among the various menu options, I chose the sea urchin bowl. The price had gone up since the last review, and the two kinds of sea urchin bowl cost 6600 yen. Luckily, I had a 3000 yen travel support coupon! The "ultimate bowl" with five kinds of sea urchin was priced at 9600 yen. The sea urchin bowl that arrived had a raw egg on top and was sparkling. It contained bafun sea urchin and murasaki sea urchin. It was a blissful experience to enjoy plenty of sea urchin early in the morning. The miso soup with seaweed that came with it was also delicious. There were many tourists from overseas, and the English guidance was well provided. When I left the restaurant after about 30 minutes, there was already a line forming.
