I felt like having some deliciously spicy noodles after a long time, so I couldn't think of anything else but Nakamoto. I arrived at the Nakameguro branch around 6:30 PM, and there were about 10 people waiting inside. The restaurant has a capacity of about 15 seats at the counter, and there were 5 staff members working efficiently. I ordered the "Arctic Ramen" with a spice level of 9. The soup was bright red and had a rich miso and spicy flavor. The thick noodles were chewy with a good texture. The pork belly in the ramen was juicy and flavorful. Overall, it was a delicious and satisfying bowl of ramen at Nakamoto.

Three months have passed since the last time. I still eat cup noodles often, but if I have the chance, I want to go to a restaurant to eat. So, this time I had some business in Kinshicho and when I searched, I found it... there it was! Nakamoto! I arrived at around 12:30 after walking from the station. The Nakamoto sign was right at the corner! Luckily, there wasn't much of a line, so I only had to wait for a few minutes to buy a meal ticket. Since there were many people waiting inside the restaurant, I was seated after about 30 minutes and I immediately ordered the most popular dish, Mongolian Tanmen. This is it! The spicy and flavorful mapo tofu sauce is generously poured over the noodles. Nakamoto's noodles are short and very easy to eat. The level of spiciness was just right for me, any more would probably be too spicy for me. I look forward to trying different toppings next time!

Today's Spicy Adventure: Mōko Tanmen Nakamoto Kinshicho Store Ladies Set (Hiyashi Miso) for 690 yen. Additional back fat for 100 yen. Spiciness level: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ (5). Spicy adventure in Kinshicho! I visited Nakamoto in Kinshicho after a long time. I ordered the Ladies Set with Hiyashi Miso. I also added extra back fat on the side. I forgot to request extra firm noodles this time, so it ended up being the regular firmness, which felt surprisingly soft since I've been getting extra firm lately. I've been really into back fat recently. Although there was no chopped onions, which I usually enjoy, the back fat alone was still satisfying. Back fat is said to have skin moisturizing effects, so thanks to the back fat, my skin feels smooth today. Since I ordered the Ladies Set this time, I enjoyed the dish in various ways - dipping the noodles in the cold soup, dipping the toppings in the cold soup, mixing everything together, or pouring it over rice. It was a luxurious experience enjoying all these different ways to eat. This is what makes Nakamoto special! I wonder what kind of new twist I can try next time.

It's been a while since my last visit. It was just before lunchtime, but the line inside the restaurant was always long. It's a popular place. I tried the chilled five-mixed miso tanmen. I usually thought that the Mongolian tanmen was my limit in terms of spiciness, but I gathered my courage and leveled up a bit. Alternating between the noodles and the soup, it was okay. Nakamoto is not just about being spicy, so I liked it. It was delicious.

The cold miso soup was spicy last time, so this time I tried the five-flavor spicy miso. The soup itself hasn't changed, so it was still spicy. I sometimes crave it and go there, but end up regretting it because it's too spicy. However, after a while, I find myself wanting to eat it again.笑

I visited a popular super spicy ramen restaurant called "Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto Kinshicho Store" on a weekday in August 2023, after 6 pm. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station. The cozy interior was about 60% full of customers. I ordered the "Cold Gomoku Mongolian Tanmen" for ¥970 at the ticket machine and sat at the counter alone. After waiting for about 7-8 minutes, the dish was served. The noodles soaked in the bright red chili-infused sauce with bean sprouts. I tried dipping the medium-thick noodles in the sauce first. The spicy dipping sauce provided a unique kick that I haven't experienced in other restaurants. It had the signature Nakamoto flavor with a cheap and spicy B-class taste. Dipping the boiled egg in the sauce helped soothe the spiciness in my mouth. Mixing the bean sprouts and noodles in the sauce provided a delightful texture. I enjoyed the intense spiciness while savoring the ingredients in the "Cold Gomoku Mongolian Tanmen." The dipping noodles required careful eating to avoid choking. I initially thought the portion might be small, but it turned out to be just right. I felt that some flavor adjustments would be nice, to be honest. By the time I finished eating, the restaurant was full, and a line of customers had formed. The addictive spiciness of Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto is indeed something I crave occasionally. The Kinshicho store, a bit away from the station, is a place where you can enjoy a smooth dining experience if the timing is right.

On regular nights, I can usually find a seat inside the restaurant without much waiting. I ordered the Hokkyoku Ramen with extra pork fat and green onions on the side. I like to dip my noodles in the pork fat. The spiciness of the 3x level is always consistent and goes really well with the pure white pork fat. I mix the excess pork fat that I can't scoop up with the noodles and enjoy it. If you have the app installed, you can earn points and receive a free service of either oolong tea or extra noodles, so be sure to take advantage of it.

This was my first time at the Kinshicho location, and it had been a while since I visited Chuhon. The interior of the restaurant is very beautiful. I usually only order the Hokkyoku at Chuhon, and it is indeed very spicy, quite spicy, but very delicious!! However, it is spicy... Next time, I think I will try the regular Moko Tanmen instead.

[Order] Cold Five-Mix Mongolian Tanmen
[Impression] I heard that there was a "Mongolian Tanmen Chuuka Gensui" near my business trip destination in Tokyo, so I was taken there by my friends who love spicy food. After walking about 5 minutes on the asphalt, which was nearly 40°C, I didn't want to sweat anymore, so I ordered the cold noodles. Since I didn't do any research beforehand, I thought I would be served cold ramen, but it was tsukemen. The dipping sauce was made with the hot soup from the Five-Mix Mongolian Tanmen, and it was especially delicious with plenty of mapo tofu, making it spicy and tasty. When you mix the cold noodles with the medium-thick dipping sauce, it tastes delicious. I had only tried the classic Mongolian Tanmen and the Arctic before, so it was a new and enjoyable experience. I also feel like trying the hot Tanmen while not on a work trip next time. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by before work in Kameido tonight too. I had miso tamago ramen with butter topping and extra noodles. Couldn't drink beer before work! As always, it was delicious. Some places in Kinshicho forget to add richness and spiciness, but you can trust this place. Since the Ikebukuro Nishiguchi store closed, I only go to the main store and Kinshicho. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Tanmen with a strong salt flavor is recommended, especially when paired with a side of mapo tofu. The vegetables are also delicious. You can also enjoy changing the taste by adding spiciness. The food is so good that you might crave rice. The menu has expanded with various rice dishes. I saw someone eating the dish called "Hokkyoku" nearby, and just watching them made me sweat. The restaurant is always busy with a constant flow of customers.

This was my first time at Chumoto. I had to wait in line for over 30 minutes, probably because it was a weekend lunchtime. But it was okay because the line was inside the restaurant, so it wasn't too hot even in the summer. However, the air conditioning inside was blasting and it was so cold. Too cold. Despite that, everyone inside was sweating, probably from the spiciness. For those eating, the air conditioning seemed just right. I wasn't sure how spicy it would be, so I started with the Gomoku Moko Tanmen (spiciness level 7). It had a good level of spiciness, but it wasn't super hot. So next time, I might try the Gomoku Miso Tanmen with spiciness level 8.

Recently, we've been having a streak of scorching hot days. My friend suggested that this is the perfect time to eat something hot and spicy, so we came to Mōkō Tanmen Nakamoto. We arrived a little after 12 on a weekday and were able to get in without much of a wait. As someone who isn't great with spicy food, the Mōkō Tanmen level 5 spiciness at 890 yen was my limit. My friend, on the other hand, went for the Arctic Ladies Set level 9 spiciness at 690 yen. Impressive! While sipping on the free oolong tea we got with a coupon, we waited patiently. First, the Mōkō Tanmen arrived. We mixed in the spicy mapo tofu part bit by bit and enjoyed it. Eating it this way made it manageable even for someone who doesn't like spicy food. Then came the Arctic Ladies. It had a scary color, but out of curiosity, I took a bite. As soon as it entered my mouth, it made me cough uncontrollably. And then, sweat started pouring out. Just from eating one piece, I was already feeling this way! My friend managed to finish it all. Amazing. Respect. Thank you for the meal. It may be a challenge for those who aren't great with spicy food, but I'll definitely come back. The Arctic Ladies, though, is a no-go for me!

Hello, this is Maruharu. Today, I went to the Nakanomoto Kinshicho store to eat the Mongolian Tanmen that I always eat with cup ramen. I finally got to try the Mongolian Tanmen. [Ordered Items] Mongolian Tanmen 890 yen. Impressions: The first thing I thought was that it was completely different from the cup ramen Mongolian Tanmen! The noodles were thick like champon noodles. The soup was a spicy kimchi hot pot. It didn't have the deliciousness of the cup ramen. I was a bit disappointed because I was used to the cup ramen. But I'm glad I got to try it as it was a long-awaited experience. Thank you for the meal.

Mongolian Tanmen with Arctic Back Fat and Butter Topping. The spiciness is balanced with umami, making it a perfect choice even in this hot weather. It's located within a 5-minute walk from the station, so it's not too far and I would love to go back again. It's a great combination for those who love spicy food but want it a bit milder.

Around 6-7pm is a relatively good time to go without waiting too long. I usually order the Triple Arctic Ramen with firm noodles and extra pork fat on the side, along with a side of rice. I really enjoy the firm noodles dipped in pork fat, so I always get them 3 times firmer than usual. The restaurant has both counter and table seating.

It used to be a regular menu item at the main store, but it is now sold as a limited edition on Thursdays at the Kinshicho store in June. It's called "Tsuke Karafuto" with a spice level of 10 (the highest). You can also get extra vegetables, but I prefer it standard with no additional toppings. It's the spiciest and most delicious Mongolian Tanmen from Nakamoto. After a short wait, the bowl arrived with a nice red soup. The soup is more like a thick red sauce when scooped up with the lotus root, containing tofu and pork. In terms of spiciness, I found it easy to handle, but there was something off. Hmm, it's spicy, but not delicious. It's strange. Even though I'm a big fan of Nakamoto's spicy and delicious dishes. Without delving deeper, I'll go eat the Arctic dish again. This time, unfortunately, Karafuto, you didn't quite hit the mark.

I had a last-minute job in Nagatacho and had to travel from Chiba. I decided to take the Hanzomon Line at Kinshicho to get there, so I went to try the limited edition Mongolian Ramen on Thursdays and Fridays. I arrived at 12:30 on Friday and bought the Mongolian Ramen (830 yen) from the ticket machine. I sat at the only available counter seat and asked for extra noodles with a coupon. Today, the manager was cooking. It was my second time having the Mongolian Ramen, and it was really delicious. It's like Sapporo miso ramen with mapo tofu on top, with a spiciness level of 5, but it's best to eat it as it is. Also, the fact that it's priced at 830 yen at a chain like Naka-Okamoto is quite affordable. I think I'll be visiting the Kinshicho branch for the Mongolian Ramen for a while. Thank you for the meal.

Visited North Pole Ankake on a Sunday night in June 2023. It cost 1,020 yen and was located about a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station. We arrived around 7 pm and there were already 14 customers. The counter had about 15 seats, and there were 2 small tables for 2 people each. There was a ticket machine on the right side of the entrance. The North Pole Ankake dish was refreshing and delicious, but I found myself wanting to try the regular North Pole dish without the ankake sauce. Overall, I think I prefer the normal North Pole dish without the ankake sauce.

#Today's Spicy Adventure■ Mongolian Tanmen Nakamoto Kinshicho Store
Arctic Super at Kinshicho Station, 1,020 yen
Spiciness Level: ★★★★★☆☆☆☆☆ (5)
Stomachache Level: ★★★☆☆ (3)
Spicy Deliciousness Level: ★★★★★ (5)
Spicy adventure in Kinshicho! I went to Nakamoto in Kinshicho with spicy ramen girl Miki-chan for a mini 2nd round at her ramen snack event. Nakamoto in Kinshicho has a wide variety of menu options, always making it hard to decide what to order. This time, I tried the limited edition Arctic Super. Unfortunately, they couldn't make the noodles firmer or increase the spiciness.
First time trying the Arctic Super! With toppings like vegetables, garlic chips, green onions, butter, corn, Arctic egg, and Mongolian mabo, it was quite a luxurious bowl. And all this for just 1,020 yen - what a great deal! While the butter and mabo sauce mellowed out the spiciness a bit, it still packed a punch with its spiciness level of 10. Surprisingly, the corn topping added a nice flavor. The Arctic Super was truly worth every penny!

I visited the restaurant for the first time. I had only ever eaten cup ramen from Seven-Eleven, so I decided to go to the restaurant. I ordered the Mabo Tofu Mongolian Tanmen with seaweed topping. It was extremely spicy, but behind the spiciness, there was a delicious flavor that was different from cup ramen.
