Recently, I've been obsessed with this dish and it's incredibly delicious. I can't find any similar products, and I've been buying them up so quickly that they're now sold out in my neighborhood. The dish has a crispy texture with fresh ingredients, soy sauce-based broth, shichimi spice blend, and dried green onions. The fresh ingredients are what make it so tasty, with a satisfying crunch and the shichimi spice blend really adds a nice kick. Freeze-dried options have been tasty lately, but this dish is made with fresh ingredients, so the shelf life is shorter.

On the day I decided not to go home and stay overnight, I bought some Darjeeling tea jelly to bring to my accommodation. This place stays open late, which makes me very happy. I'm not sure of the official name, but I bought some red tea jelly. It has a generous amount and is a great value. I wanted something refreshing, and it did not disappoint. The orange jelly is refreshing and delicious, with fruit pieces like apples and peaches mixed in. It's not overly sweet and perfect for late-night snacking.

I stopped by Seijo Ishii Takashimaya, a reliable store, and picked up a light meal. The Pon de Queijo was in the refrigerated case and it's recommended to heat it up a bit before eating. When warmed up, it becomes fluffy and has a chewy texture. The cheese has a nice aroma and the quality is like that of a bakery. The Zunda Pudding has mashed Zunda beans in the pudding, along with red bean paste, shiratama (mochi balls), cream, and Zunda bean paste. It goes well together and the pudding itself is of high quality. They really are consistent in their offerings.

I have been reevaluating Seijo Ishii recently, which is more affordable than Takashimaya. When I was young and working in Yaesu, I had to go outside for convenience stores, and the easiest place to buy something in the morning was Seijo Ishii at Yaechika. It was tough back then because I was young, but now, due to the prices, I feel like it's a bit of a deal. I buy onigiri during the discount time. The pickled vegetable onigiri is big and heavy with a generous amount of pickled vegetables, giving a feeling of being a good deal. If you're a Seijo Ishii madam, one onigiri might be enough to fill you up. The devil onigiri, what's with the devil recently? Devilish calories? Indeed, 373 calories is high. The taste is like fried egg with a little soy sauce broth, seaweed, and dried shrimp mixed in. In short, it's a tasty one. It's like an onigiri from Kaiji. Today, I will resist having dessert!

Salad chicken herb with 1/3 vegetables and 3 types of mushrooms salad at Seijo Ishii @ Nihonbashi
I had a hearty breakfast, so I wasn't very hungry. I decided to eat some vegetables, so I went to Seijo Ishii at Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. The salad chicken herb with 1/3 vegetables and 3 types of mushrooms salad was a good choice. It also provided protein from the chicken. I was quite full today, so this was enough for me. Thank you for the meal!

Hot spring egg and spicy Sichuan pepper mapo tofu rice bowl at Seijo Ishii @ Nihonbashi
After finishing my errands at Nihonbashi Takashimaya, I was feeling hungry so I decided to buy a bento box at the new building of Seijo Ishii. When I saw the words "spicy" on the label, I couldn't resist and picked it up to purchase at the register. With a 10% discount, I paid 583 yen.
Back at the office, I was instructed to heat it in the microwave for 4 minutes at 500W, but our office microwave goes up to 750W so I heated it for 3 and a half minutes. Ding!
I opened the lid of the hot spring egg and spicy Sichuan pepper mapo tofu rice bowl. I was hoping for a runny yolk from the hot spring egg, but unfortunately, it was already set when I microwaved it. Disappointing.
I wish the spiciness was a bit stronger. I realized I had bought and eaten this before. Oh well, thank you for the meal.

- There is a Seijo Ishii located in Takashimaya, and I saw on TV the other day that Seijo Ishii is in Takashimaya for some reason. I heard that they have some highly recommended sweets there, so I decided to check it out. It's nice to have the option to leisurely consider the sweets there rather than choosing from a cake shop! Oh, I didn't realize that "Moo Moo Cha Cha" that I saw on TV was available there. I ended up getting some Italian ham, which you don't find in regular supermarkets. The almond tofu with grape and red fruit jelly had a deep crimson-colored crushed jelly on top. The red fruit turned out to be pomegranate and raspberry, giving a slightly tart taste. The texture was pleasantly thick with a hint of acidity, and there were small red grapes inside. The bottom part of the almond tofu had the usual deliciousness with added nata de coco. The Italian chestnut Mont Blanc parfait looked delicious with its rich chestnut paste topping. Underneath the whipped cream and sponge, there were chopped chestnuts scattered throughout. The bottom layer was a mildly sweet chocolate mousse, allowing you to enjoy various flavors and textures by scooping vertically. Although a bit pricier than convenience store sweets, I love the desserts here. I look forward to their new releases from time to time. The Seijo Ishii special baked custard pudding seemed quite ordinary, making it hard to form a strong opinion. As for "Moo Moo Cha Cha," I couldn't confirm its availability. Whether I'll give it another try depends on the dessert squad leader.

On November 29, 2018, I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to buy a bento box at Seijo Ishii in Nihonbashi Takashimaya S.C. B1. I purchased the Onsen Tamago and Sichuan Sansho Spicy Mapo Tofu Donburi for 647 yen. After microwaving it for 3 minutes, the scent of Sansho spread out. The yolk of the Onsen Tamago looked like this. The spiciness was just right, and the taste was not bad. When you're not very hungry, this amount is enough. Thank you for the meal!

I wanted to try something different, so I bought some deli food at Seijo Ishii and got the Gapao Rice. It was my first time buying food there. The dish seemed to be half filled with ingredients and the other half with rice. However, the ingredients were thinly spread out and there was a lot of rice underneath. It looked like a proper Gapao dish, but the ethnic flavor was not very strong.

I bought coffee jelly at Seijo Ishii. I wanted to eat something smooth and slippery. ^_^
Seijo Ishii * Coffee Jelly 266 yen
It feels like there is coffee jelly floating inside the jelly. A slightly unusual type. (Oh, the focus is at the back...)
Coffee jelly inside a jelly that tastes like coffee milk. You can enjoy two types of jelly, giving a bit of a good deal feeling. It was a firm jelly, more bouncy than wobbly. 118 calories. Better quality than department stores and more affordable than convenience stores. Seijo Ishii's desserts might be good~☆彡
juck.

I had a pho burger and baked sweet potato. The noodles in the pho burger were mild, but it had a decent amount of flavoring, so it might be good for those who like it. The baked sweet potato had a rich honey flavor and was moderately sweet. The level of sweetness may vary depending on personal preference, so please keep that in mind.
