I made a reservation and visited the restaurant at 6:00 pm. It was already quite busy with many customers. I was impressed by the selection of amber Ebisu bottled beer and Sapporo Red Star beer. The appetizers were delicious. I could easily have a drink with just that. They had a wide variety of sake as well. The whale dishes I was looking forward to trying came in many different forms - sashimi, bacon, skewers - and each had its own unique flavor. It was a great opportunity to enjoy whale dishes that are not easy to come by. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I had previously eaten "Rare Steak 100g (Pepper Steak)" so this time I ordered "Rare Steak 100g (Sukiyaki Steak)". However, I have memories of fried chicken from my school days and it's hard to order just that. Maybe now it tastes good, but I still find it difficult to order. The rare steak looks exactly like beef. It tastes delicious with no strange smell or discomfort. The restaurant is not crowded, making it a hidden gem. They also have a variety of Japanese sake options, including Amber Ebisu and Sato (shochu), with a premium all-you-can-drink option, making it a great choice for those who enjoy drinking.

It's been a while since my last visit. I had the whale red meat yukhoe bowl again, just like last time. The price remained the same, which was a relief. The second time around didn't have the same impact as the first, but it's still delicious without any fishy taste. Next time, I might try the rare steak. Whale red meat yukhoe bowl for 1,000 yen.

If you eat whale tatsuta-age, your lunch is complete. However, I can't order it because I have an image of old school lunches... so today, I had the "whale red meat yukhoe bowl for 1000 yen". It looks very red, but it doesn't have any particular taste, and if you didn't know it was whale, you wouldn't be able to tell. It tastes like red tuna or beef... The combination of egg yolk and yukhoe sauce is delicious. It's relatively quiet even during lunchtime, so you can enjoy your meal leisurely. It feels like a hidden gem of a restaurant. They also have a great selection of sake in the evening, so I highly recommend it.

I used a 7,000 yen course and the quality and quantity of the food were sufficient. There were about 15 types of sake available for all-you-can-drink, which is great for sake lovers. Since it is a small restaurant, I recommend making a reservation before going. The day I went, it was fully booked.

Toranomon "Whale's Stomach" 2nd branch. For lunch, you can enjoy whale red meat steak, yukke bowl, and tempura. On this day, I added whale tail sashimi to the tempura. Whale red meat tempura for 1000 yen, tail sashimi for 500 yen. The tempura is fried after ordering, so it is crispy and crunchy. It has a strong ginger flavor and a slight whale taste. It might be better to marinate it a bit more. The tail sashimi also has a strong taste, maybe due to freshness issues. It would be nice to have more ginger and garlic to mask the strong flavor. I'm not used to eating whale, so I might have felt the taste more strongly, but restaurants that serve whale are rare, so I hope they can make some adjustments in cooking and seasoning to make it more palatable for whale beginners. Thank you for the meal. #Shinbashi #ShinbashiLunch #WhalesStomach #WhaleCuisine #Tabelog

I went there because smoking is allowed, but the whale meat was delicious~ Whale bacon is not seen often these days, but the whale here is delicious! They said the minke whale is chilled and only comes in once or twice a year, so maybe it's from research whaling? We also had whale sashimi with tail, heart, and another part. It had a strong oceanic scent, and each part had its own texture, so this must be the true scent of whale! The sake had more options from Fukushima, as the mother and son running the place are from there. We also enjoyed some interesting trivia from them. I wanted something soupy, so I had whale soup and tofu in oden. There were many regular customers. I understand, with the warm atmosphere, decent food, and the ability to smoke at the table, it would attract smokers. It's a place where you would want to introduce those unfamiliar with whale meat. The main branch nearby seems to have more seating. It's probably a good idea to call ahead before coming here.

- A whale cuisine izakaya near Uchisaiwaicho Station. Sister store of Whale's Stomach.
- For banquet use, there is a 2-hour all-you-can-drink course for 7,000 yen. Includes firefly squid appetizer, three types of whale sashimi, simmered dish, and more.
- Drink options include around 10 types of sake for all-you-can-drink. Not because the couple is from Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, but simply because it is delicious, there is a good selection of sake from Fukushima.
- The atmosphere is cozy and homey, accommodating up to about 20 people.
- Whale cuisine izakaya
- 3 minutes walk from Mita Line Uchisaiwaicho Station (6-7 minutes from Ginza Line Toranomon Station, Shimbashi Station)
- Budget: 6,000 yen per person for dinner
- About 20 seats
- Not suitable for children

I reserved whale stomach the day before and ended up coming here, so I had lunch here. I ordered a lot of delicious fried chicken that I enjoyed the day before. The meal came with plenty of rice and fresh bonito sashimi, so I felt very satisfied. I will definitely come back again.

I found a restaurant while walking. When it comes to whale cuisine in Tokyo, the first place that comes to mind is usually Kujiraya. The last time I had whale was at Taruhei in Shinjuku. This time, I visited the second branch of Kujira no Ibukuro in Shinbashi, which seems to specialize in whale for lunch. I ordered the W Yukke Donburi with whale sashimi red meat and tail only (1500 yen). I visited at 12:40 on a weekday, and there was only one solo customer inside (it got a bit busier later). I ordered my dish with less rice. It came with whale bacon soup, bonito tataki, and pickles. The whale sashimi, both the red meat and tail, were of very high quality, but the sauce turned out to be based on gochujang. Hmm, not bad, but it felt like a waste. I prefer my whale sashimi with soy sauce and ginger! Thank you for the meal. If I come back next time, I would like to try the red meat rare steak.

Whale is rare and so are the restaurants that serve it. This restaurant offers a variety of fresh whale dishes. The other fish served here was also fresh and delicious. They have a great selection of whale beer and Japanese sake. Thank you for the delicious meal. I will definitely go back!

#Whale Separation 795-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Whale rare steak (pepper steak) 1000-▲paypay Minato-ku support 20% + αpaypay discount last day, what should I eat. It's warm and sunny, so let's take a walk to Nishi-Shinbashi. Let's go for whale, which we rarely eat. The rare steak is so tender and delicious. Is whale really this tender? The sauce is also delicious. The bowl also has whale fat in the whale soup, and the side dish is daikon with butterbur miso, very elaborate. Everything is delicious. It turned out to be a perfect ending.

There were a few customers scattered around. Last time, I had the Yukke Don, which was quite delicious, so this time I decided to try the Tatsuta-age as I aim to conquer all the whale menu items. The hot and fragrant Tatsuta-age lived up to my expectations. The slightly firm texture provided a different kind of deliciousness compared to chicken, beef, or pork. I occasionally dipped it in mayonnaise for a change of taste. The lean red meat sashimi was tender and melted smoothly in my mouth. The contrast between the firmness of the Tatsuta-age and the softness of the sashimi created a nice balance in this lunch.

The Yukke bowl allows you to enjoy both rich red meat and tender tail meat. It seems that the whale meat is a bit tough. The sesame oil-scented sweet soy sauce-based sauce with crushed egg yolk mixes well with the meat and rice, making it delicious. The side dishes included whale rib meat simmered in soy sauce and whale soup, making it a whale-themed lunch. This time, the meat was raw, so next time I'll try it either grilled or fried. Nevertheless, I sincerely hope that the whales in Osaka Bay return safely to the open sea. (Unfortunately, it ended up with a sad outcome. R.I.P. whale)

Believe it or not, I am a huge fan of chicken, shrimp, noodles, and even whale dishes (`・ω・´). I am deeply saddened by the fact that the shop at Tsukiji Outer Market, where they used to sell whale sashimi, has closed down from the bottom of my heart (´・ω・`). If I hear that there is a restaurant in Tokyo where you can enjoy a rare whale steak lunch, I cannot contain my excitement (`・ω・´). Off to Shinbashi! It's a bit of a walk from Shinbashi Station, but it's almost a straight path so it's not too hard to find. You go up the stairs to the 2nd floor of the building, open the door and announce that you're dining alone, and the energetic staff member behind the counter will guide you to your seat. There were a couple of gentlemen who seemed to be local office workers as the previous customers. I checked the menu briefly, but of course, the whale steak caught my eye...Σ(゚Д゚)Σ(゚Д゚)Σ(゚Д゚) You can choose the portion size - 100g, 150g, or 200g. I decided to challenge myself with 150g! Oh, you can also add red whale sashimi! I definitely want to try that (`・ω・´). It turned out to be quite a hearty lunch (´∀`*)ウフフ After that, more and more customers arrived, and it was almost always full! And here comes the whale steak lunch (*´▽`*) The 150g portion was quite substantial (laughs). The steak was sliced for easy eating. The bowl contained whale meat soup. There was also whale simmered dish, whale festival, and red whale sashimi. The table was in a frenzy of excitement for whale cuisine (*´▽`*) First, let's dig into the steak♪ It was tender and had a slight buttery aroma. The seasoning wasn't too strong, making it easy to eat and delicious (*´▽`*) Whale steak goes so well with rice♪ The red whale sashimi I had recently at Toyosu was also looking delicious (´∀`*)ウフフ I dipped it in plenty of ginger and took a bite! Oh, it's so delicious (*´▽`*) This also goes so well with rice (´∀`*)ウフフ The simmered dish had a tender collagen-like texture that was soft and well-cooked♪ The whale soup was a bit challenging to eat as my stomach was already full from the steak, but it had a refreshing taste and was delicious. However, I felt like my stomach was going to burst after finishing the 150g portion, but I managed to eat it all (`・ω・´). The bowl was very popular, but I think the steak is the way to go. I would like to try it with 100g next time! Thank you for the meal todayーーーーーーーーーーーーーーー!!!!!!!

This is my second visit following the previous one where I unexpectedly enjoyed the whale yukhoe bowl. This time, I tried a menu I had never eaten before, the "Whale Lean Red Meat Rare Steak" for 1000 yen. You can choose between 100g, 150g, or 200g, with prices varying based on the size. You can also choose between pepper flavor and sukiyaki flavor, and get a free large serving of rice. When the "Whale Lean Red Meat Rare Steak" was served, it looked just like any other meat and had no unpleasant smell. It tasted similar to beef, without any off-putting flavors. Some people may have had a bad impression of whale meat from school lunches, but this dish is nothing like that and is actually delicious. The dinner menu offers a wide selection of Japanese sake, making it a great place for a relaxing drink. The restaurant is not crowded even during lunchtime, so it might be a hidden gem where you can enjoy a leisurely meal.

At the nearby Daikurex, they have fresh whale meat available. I tried buying it once and eating it, but it had a slight smell so I decided not to buy it again. However, I visited again with that possibility in mind. I ordered the whale red meat yukke bowl. Now, how does it taste even though it's raw? Wow... the red meat served in the bowl looks beautiful! It seems to be very fresh. When I took a bite, oh... this is delicious! No hint of any smell at all! Seriously, this is tasty! For those who may have reservations about whale meat or eating raw food, I recommend trying fresh whale meat at least once. The whale red meat yukke bowl costs 1,000 yen.

It had been a while since I had work in Shinbashi, so I made a reservation for a course in advance before visiting. I arrived at 5:00 pm and started with a beer for a toast. Since it was a course, the dishes were served at a good pace. From appetizers to whale sashimi, fried chicken, yukhoe, and steak, all the dishes were delicious and a whale lover's dream. With all-you-can-drink, I enjoyed my drinks without worrying about the cost. By the time the rice came out, I was already full. I was satisfied and full. Thank you for the meal.

Visited the branch "Whale's Retreat" of "Whale's Stomach" in Shinbashi for lunch. While I have been to "Whale's Stomach" a few times for dinner, this was my first visit to this restaurant. The interior is cozy with an L-shaped counter and tables for four people, creating a calm atmosphere where you can relax. They offer whale steak, whale yukhoe bowl, and whale karaage, but based on reviews on Tabelog, I decided to go with the yukhoe bowl (with free extra rice). With only one other customer present, the service was quick. Visually, it looks like tuna sashimi with a yolk on top, but it's whale meat. It comes with miso soup with whale meat, pickles, and konjac side dishes, all for 1,000 yen including tax. Quite a good deal. Some people of my generation may have a bad impression of whale meat due to having whale karaage in school lunches, but this dish had no fishy smell and was tender and delicious. If you don't say anything, some might even mistake it for horse sashimi. Similar to "Whale's Stomach," this restaurant also offers a wide selection of Japanese sake, so enjoying it with crispy hot pot could be a nice idea.

This is a whale Yukke bowl from the whale specialty store called "Kujira no Hanare" in Uchisaiwaicho. Whale meat, which is low in cholesterol and high in protein, is perfect for those who are into muscle training. It's not often that you get to taste it, but some people may find it too lean and strong in flavor. However, this one is marinated in a sweet sauce, so it's easy to enjoy even as Yukke. Laugh. This year, there have been a lot of Anisakis in raw fish, so I can't eat my favorite seafood dishes at restaurants much, but is it related to whaling? It cost 1000 yen. Thank you for the meal.
