Every year, when the season of the moon-viewing burger comes around, I always think to myself that I want to try it this year, but end up not eating it again. It has become a tradition for me. This year, they have a new fluffy and creamy scrambled egg sauce version! As a lover of eggs, I finally decided to buy the McDonald's moon-viewing burger. After trying it, I felt happy about the abundance of eggs, but the flavor lacked depth. McDonald's already has the Sausage Egg McMuffin, which is much tastier. Maybe I should have just stuck with that. Also, I bought the moon-viewing pie this time, which I forgot to take a picture of. The combination of sweet red bean paste and salty pie crust was much more delicious than the rich and fluffy moon-viewing burger. I guess I'll decide whether to eat it once a month or not. It's junk food after all, so I want it to be salty, sweet, and intense. So, I'll go buy the Sausage Egg McMuffin, Hash Browns, and the moon-viewing pie next time I go out in the morning! (laughs)

With a 20 yen discount coupon, it cost 420 yen. I thought it was a regular menu rice burger, but it turned out to be a limited-time offer. I missed out on trying it before. I used to eat Mos Burger often, so I was curious about how McDonald's rice burger would taste. It was pretty much the same. It had a ginger-flavored soy sauce chicken patty with cabbage and mayo on rice. It tasted like eating chicken meatballs with mayo and cabbage on rice. It had a more junk food feel compared to buns. It was decent.

I used it for a short break before a live performance! The seats were a bit cramped, but I guess that's unavoidable in Tokyo. I don't usually go to McDonald's, so I'm not familiar with that kind of situation. Still, the orange juice was delicious! The 15-piece nuggets my friend ordered were also consistently tasty. ✨

There is a McDonald's located next to JR Uguisudani Station in Taito, Tokyo. It is open 24 hours. The Big Breakfast is one of the breakfast options, consisting of an English muffin, sausage patty, hash brown, and scrambled egg. It feels like a deconstructed Egg McMuffin. Despite being called "Big," it is not overwhelmingly large in volume. There is not much vegetables, typical of McDonald's breakfast.

I ordered a Fantameron, but when I got back, the lid wasn't closed properly and more than half of it was spilled out. Also, the fries were supposed to be a medium size, but the portion was way too small. It was the worst.

Juicy Chicken Black, Egg Double, Potato M, Coca-Cola Zero M ordered. It was cheat day.

The app cost 140 yen. It was quite delicious. The filling was chunky red bean paste. There were layers of mochi and red bean paste vertically. Even when eating only the mochi, it was good with the saltiness from the outside.

The Teriyaki in the menu was very delicious and I would like to eat it again. I simply like Teriyaki (lol). The spicy nuggets were too spicy for me as I am not good with spicy food. I prefer regular nuggets (^0^)/

Value lunch available only on weekdays! "Big Mac Combo for 400 yen" You can add extra onions, sauce, and pickles for free, which enhances the B-grade gourmet feel. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station and operates 24 hours a day.

After eating a lot of yakiniku, I decided to stop by McDonald's for a change of pace. It had been probably decades since I last visited McDonald's (surprising for a hamburger lover, right?). The interior was different from the old McDonald's I remembered and was very Instagram-worthy! Even though I was already full, being that it was a Friday, I decided to try their Chocolate Sundae for the first time. It cost 150 yen including tax. During my yakiniku meal, I had learned the difference between a parfait and a sundae from a reviewer who loves parfaits, so I decided to try it out at McDonald's. The Chocolate Sundae was simple - a cup with vanilla soft serve topped with chocolate sauce. Despite its simplicity, it was nostalgic and surprisingly delicious. As I left the warm interior of the McDonald's into the freezing cold outside, I felt a bit reluctant to leave and headed towards the Yamanote Line station.

After eating yakiniku, I was craving something sweet, so I was taken by my reviewer friend to McDonald's in Uguisudani, glancing at the love hotel district on the way. We checked in with a group of people and ordered a Double Cheeseburger set (with small fries and Sprite). We went up to the second floor and secured a table. In front of us were a Cinnamon Melt and a Chocolate Sundae. The Cinnamon flavor filled the air as we enjoyed our McDonald's burgers and fries. It was a typical McDonald's meal. Thank you for the food. It was so cold outside that my face and hands hurt. I also forgot to use my d POINTS.

At the beginning of this month, McDonald's was reported in the Nikkei as having two consecutive months of positive sales for existing stores. Towards the end of January, two of us visited the McDonald's in front of Uguisudani Station. We also contributed in a small way to the positive sales, so we must have helped. Looking back, when was the last time we visited McDonald's? This time, we visited this store by chance. We had a reservation at a nearby restaurant for 5 pm, but we arrived too early and it was cold, so we looked for a warm place to pass the time. The first place we went to was Doutor in front of Uguisudani Station. However, it seemed like all the seats were taken, so we gave up and went to the McDonald's across the street. We were able to secure seats here, so we ordered a cappuccino and a cafe latte to pass the time. We went upstairs and tried the drinks. The cappuccino was not too sweet, and I prefer it to have a bit more bitterness or richness in the espresso base, but it was easy to drink and I finished it smoothly. Looking around the store, the colorful and lively drawings on the walls were enjoyable, especially from the first floor to the stairs. I wondered if this was unique to this store or if it was becoming a trend nationwide. There was a McDonald's in Nagano before that had distinctive colors and structures, so perhaps this unique store design is a stepping stone towards a counteroffensive.

After the Friday drinking party, I was in the mood for something icy. So, I visited Macugianyara located at the north exit of Uguisudani Station. This Macuja has a 1st floor and a 2nd floor. First, I placed my order at the counter on the 1st floor. I ordered an Icy S, which was a great deal at only 100 yen. After waiting for a while standing, the long-awaited icy treat was ready. Unfortunately, there was no straw insertion service, so I carried it to the 2nd floor myself to enjoy it. The taste was consistent and satisfying. I would like to try the straw insertion challenge next time I have the chance in Uguisudani.

Walking around Ueno Park and back to Ueno Station is too ordinary, so I purposely walked to Uguisudani and took a break at the McDonald's near the station. I didn't know there was a McDonald's in front of the station, but it was the best place to take a break. There were a few power outlets, but not enough, so I couldn't charge my smartphone. It's okay though, because I carry a backup power source. There were some people who seemed to blend into the nightlife atmosphere, but that's Uguisudani for you. I won't go into detail about the latte, as it had a standard taste. After walking for about 2 hours, this was a very helpful place to take a break.Visited on September 23, 2014. A great find!
