I recently visited Butchers, a new restaurant in Okachimachi that caught my attention since the end of the year. The atmosphere of this place is stylish and nice. It has a different vibe from the usual Ameyoko area. I was surprised by the beef tongue dish here. It came out in a round ball shape, which was unexpected! The meat was all delicious in its own way. It's a perfect place to enjoy plenty of meat at a reasonable price while drinking wine. I will definitely visit again!

I wasn't satisfied with the lamb for lunch, so I decided to have a rematch at night! I didn't know that there was a Butchers' affiliate store under the Ueno Guard, and it has a more open and stylish atmosphere compared to other nearby restaurants, making it a great choice for dates or large parties. ★Appetizer 330 yen ✖️2 Thinly sliced Las Padura cheese. It has a good volume and goes well with alcohol. ★Shine Muscat Green Salad 980 yen A salad with Shine Muscat, kiwi, walnuts, cream cheese, and leafy vegetables, with a refreshing dressing with a sour taste. It's a great deal to get all this for less than 1000 yen. ★Lamb Chop 2200 yen A hearty piece of lean red meat cooked boldly on a large charcoal grill. They cut a 300g piece of meat in front of you, and the pink color of the meat looks beautiful. The crispy potatoes and juicy tomatoes served with it were also delicious! I wanted to order charcoal-grilled vegetables as well, but I was already full after two dishes, so I reluctantly gave up. The lamb meat was very juicy, with no hint of gaminess, making it a hit for lamb lovers. ★Okachimachi Beer R size 650 yen A white ale with an elegant ester aroma and a moderate acidity that also has sweetness. Tonight, I had planned to enjoy some delicious dumplings at a restaurant, but I ended up working late and when I finally arrived, they told me they were closing. It was only 8:30 pm! So, I searched around and ended up coming here. It's a craft beer bar with 4 different types of beer. I started with an ale, but it was not quite what I was hoping for, a bit too light. The IPA was recommended and it was great. I ordered meat dishes like lamb and harami, which were delicious. The bacon in the potato salad was especially good with the beer. I had planned on having a quiet drink at home, but ended up spending quite a bit here. Luckily, the boss was there to cover the bill, so financially, it was all good. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Butchers in Jinbocho, I used to go there often, and this shop has a stylish and comfortable atmosphere, very cozy. The staff's service is polite and pleasing. The 5000 yen all-you-can-drink course is so satisfying! Highly recommended. Surprisingly, the group next to us and the group in front of us were all acquaintances. It was a lively atmosphere!

The beef, pork, and lamb were all delicious! There were four types of craft beer available, and personally, I recommend the AMEYOKO Dry as it was easy to drink. There were plenty of appetizers to choose from, making it fun to pair with the meat dishes. The space between tables was wider than expected, making it comfortable.

In August of the 23rd year, I visited a meat bar (probably) located under the elevated tracks of the Yamanote Line, near Ueno Station. This restaurant is a branch of a store that also brews craft beer, which is a unique feature. I visited on a weekday at 1 pm for lunch. The restaurant offers two main menu items: a plate lunch featuring either roast beef (160g) or roast pork (180g). When I arrived, the roast beef was already sold out, and there were only 5 servings of roast pork left, so I recommend arriving early if possible. I ordered the Roast Pork Lunch (1,000 yen) and a Craft Beer (Okachimachi Ale, large size 860 yen). The soup was served first, with a slightly spicy flavor. It may not be to everyone's taste as a standalone dish. The main dish arrived next, featuring thick slices of pork with leafy vegetables, potatoes, corn, garlic sauce for the meat, and ketchup on the side. The meat was tender, juicy, and generously portioned, providing a satisfying amount for a lunch meal. The side vegetables and potatoes were a common combination but tasted delicious. I also ordered a craft beer labeled as "No.1" on the menu. It had a light and easy-to-drink flavor, but I felt it could have had more distinctive characteristics, even for a white beer. Personally, I tend to have high expectations for craft beers served on tap. The meal took about 30 minutes to finish, and by the end, most of the customers had left, leaving the spacious floor almost empty. Although the restaurant seems to focus more on meat dishes in the evening, based on my lunch experience, I believe the quality of the meat served is reliable and worth trying. Nice to meet you for the second time. As announced, this time I went for the beef tongue. I made a reservation for 5:00 pm on a weekday, but just before the Bon Festival, the restaurant quickly filled up. The beef tongue was as delicious as ever... If I had to say, it's a shame that there are only two types of wine available. It shows that they take good care of their wine selection, but it's tough to order a whole bottle when my companion doesn't drink wine. It's a shame considering the good variety of wines they have. Someday, I'll bring someone who can drink wine and try out the wines that caught my eye. I'll definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I happened to come across this place by chance. I was really impressed by the cost performance, portion size, and deliciousness. The steak was about 3cm thick, giving a satisfying feeling when eating. There are two options: beef steak plate or pork steak plate, both come with soup and rice, all for only 1,000 yen including tax!! I've been having a lot of lunch disappointments in Tokyo recently, so this was a rare find. For some reason, my colleague's beef plate also came with fried chicken! It's a mystery.

Lunch was such a great deal. For only 1000 yen, I got pork steak with salad, soup, and rice. The meat was tender and delicious. The portion size was generous, so I left feeling satisfied. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice too, overall a really great place to eat!

Visited for lunch, just a 1-minute walk from Ueno-Okachimachi Station South Exit. I was torn between the hamburger and the roast pork set on the lunch menu, but ended up ordering the roast pork set. It came with 180g of roast pork, rice, salad, potatoes, and soup (extra rice available). All this for just 1,000 yen! Such a great deal! I want to try the hamburger next time, but the roast pork was so delicious that I have a feeling I'll end up ordering it again next time (^^)

I happened to pass by and decided to go in. I ordered the steak plate. It was nice that the oshibori (wet towel) was made of cloth. It seemed like more people were ordering the pork. The meat is cooked over charcoal. You can choose the amount of rice. The salad dressing was delicious. The side potatoes were too much to finish. There was also bone-in fried chicken next to it, which tasted pretty good. As for the meat itself, it had a lot of gristle and was a bit tough to chew. Unfortunately. I noticed that around 1:15 PM, the number of people suddenly entering the restaurant decreased, and it seemed like the main menu had sold out. It must be popular. Honestly, I was interested in other menu items. It might be a good place for lunchtime drinking.

Arrived without a reservation around 5 pm on Saturday. They were fully booked with reservations, but when we explained that we were with children and would leave soon, they managed to find us a table. We were just planning to have a quick drink and leave, so we ordered an Ame Yoko Dry beer. It had a rich aroma, being brewed on-site, and was easy to drink with a refreshing taste. We will make a reservation next time we visit.

Reasonably priced delicious meat can be enjoyed here. We ordered the Butcher's Rib and beef tongue, which are the signature dishes. We opted for the smaller size of the Butcher's Rib, but with a variety of other dishes, the four of us girls were completely satisfied. I have been here several times, and my favorite among the meats is the beef tongue. I have used this place for gatherings such as girls' nights out and circle meetings multiple times.

I wonder how many times I've been to this repeat store, for lunch or dinner, I've used it many times. This day was the first time for a limited edition hamburger. Of course, it was delicious as expected! Both lunch and dinner have good cost performance and taste, and I also enjoy craft beer and wine. Everyone around me loves this restaurant. I will definitely go again.

The food here is always delicious. If you're in the mood for a hearty meat dish, this is the place to go. Their desserts are also recommended. The firm custard and not too soggy tiramisu are both great choices. Just be aware that they might run out of certain dishes, so it's best to make a reservation early. I heard you could choose between tomato and oil for the pasta that comes after the special herb-grilled pork tenderloin, but unfortunately I wasn't given that option. Mixing the cheese from the appetizer with the pasta makes it even tastier.

I have been to the Kanda location a few times, but the Ueno location seemed spacious and we were able to make a reservation, so we visited with three people. We ordered the largest size of halal lamb and chicken, and added pasta. The portions were quite generous. We ordered a cheap Chilean wine, which was just right for light drinking.

After finishing shopping on a holiday, my wife and I had a late lunch and discussed what to eat. We were in the Ueno area, so options like tonkatsu, sushi, eel, day drinking, gyoza, yakitori, and Western food were available. My wife surprisingly suggested meat and wine. I only knew of a restaurant under the bridge in the Ueno area for meat, so we walked a few minutes to check out a nearby restaurant. It was almost full of people drinking beer, even though it was a holiday afternoon. The cafe next door had a line of young women. Ueno and Ameyoko, once known for older people, now seemed to be filled with younger crowds. When we entered the restaurant, the hostess asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, so she began checking for available seats. We were seated at the counter, and I was surprised that it was empty. My wife was eager to drink wine, but we started with the house-brewed Okachimachi Ale to quench our thirst. The fresh beer with its refreshing bubbles, acidity, and bitterness was delightful. The complimentary Raspadura cheese was also delicious. It's a Lombardy specialty, and I plan to try it in Milan during my layover before heading to Genoa. Here's what we ordered: - Pumpkin and salami salad: The saltiness of the salami was a good match for the salad. - Bottle of wine: Mureda Dragora, a light red blend of Grenache and Carignan. - Stew: Tripe and beef tendon stewed and baked with cheese. - Meat appetizer platter: A generous portion of pate, prosciutto, and other appetizers. - Green chili and gizzard in garlic oil: We enjoyed dipping the toast in the oil. - Bottle of wine: Butchers Original, a spicy 100% Syrah that paired well with the meat. - 230g of beef rump: A tender and delicious choice as per my wife's request. - 180g of flap meat: Also juicy and flavorful, perfect for meat lovers. We enjoyed beers, highballs, and two bottles of wine along with a variety of meat dishes. Considering the quality and quantity of food and drinks, the value for money is quite good. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station, making it suitable for meetups and large gatherings. It's a great choice for young people and those who still think their stomachs are in their twenties. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience!

I went to a restaurant with my friends. When I asked what they wanted to eat, they all said they wanted meat, so I made a reservation here. Luckily, it was available even on the same day. Let's eat lots of meat today! We started with a cheese dish that was shaved with a knife, which we had seen before and my friends really liked it. Then, we ordered a large portion of coriander salad, which was fresh and delicious. The meat shop's potato salad was also a hit with one of my friends. They didn't want to share it with anyone! We also had some prosciutto, and for the meat, we ordered 250g of skirt steak and 400g of rump steak. The meat was lean and tasty, and we all finished it quickly. For dessert, we had pudding, which was also incredibly delicious. We were satisfied and will definitely come back again.

This is my second visit. Butcher-san also has a store in Kanda, and everything from the atmosphere, taste, to price is truly wonderful! They bring the cooked meat to your table and even suggest when to take a photo (lol). The potatoes served alongside the meat are also delicious.

I visited the restaurant as soon as it opened on Friday. It seemed like there were a lot of reservations, but I was able to secure a seat. About 30 minutes after opening, it was almost full, so I thought it might be better to make a reservation. The craft beers ranged from easy-to-drink to strong beer flavors and were delicious. Most of all, personally, the beef tongue was amazing... Since I was seated at the counter, I could see it being grilled right in front of me, which was great. I wanted to pair red wine with the red meat, so I also tried two types of glass wines. Both had a strong flavor that didn't lose to the meat and I liked them. I want to visit again next time for the beef tongue. Thank you for the meal.
