I have known about the FC store of Yakitori Daikichi in Ekoda for 11 years, but I finally mustered up the courage to cross the threshold in my 12th year living here. As soon as I entered the shop, I was greeted by an incredibly warm and friendly smile from the master, and I immediately regretted not coming sooner. Since ordering individual items seemed like a hassle, I wondered if they had a mixed platter, but I couldn't find it on the menu. However, when I looked at the back, there it was - a 5-piece assortment, and it was super cheap. I decided to start by savoring the 5-piece assortment before ordering anything else. Oh no, the first tsukune was unbelievably delicious! It was so fluffy and light, and the sauce and salt seasoning were irresistible. Even though it wasn't on the menu, I couldn't resist ordering Negima, Momo, and skin, 2 pieces each. I left the sauce and salt up to the master, and the skin was crispy and perfect. Negima and Momo were also excellent. For the finale, I had grilled rice balls and chicken soup. Since I usually make grilled rice balls at home, I carefully observed how the master made them. I picked up some unexpected tips, and overall, the cost performance of this meal was amazing at only 2,670 yen. I will definitely be visiting this place more frequently from now on.

I quickly finished dinner before the storm hit. My family ignored the forecast and went out for drinks separately. I enjoyed some solo yakitori for the first time in a while. It was thrilling to chat with the chef while savoring dishes like chicken thigh, green onion, heart, liver, garlic yakitori, quail, and cheese tomato. The best part was being able to eat as much as I wanted of my favorite items. I ended the meal with a spicy cheese tomato soup, which could have been even spicier for me. #Ekoda is full of delicious food as always.

I use this restaurant once a month. It is located in a residential area, but it is quiet, has good value for money, and I can enjoy drinking and eating before returning home feeling satisfied. The food, cooked on charcoal, is delicious and juicy. The owner is also calm and friendly, and I enjoy chatting with them.

I especially like the negi-banban, umeshiso, kawa, and baked cheese onigiri. The crispiness of the kawa is the best.

The restaurant has nationwide franchise locations, so you might have heard of it before. The menu and the layout of the restaurant are pretty consistent across all locations. However, due to the franchise model, each store has a slight "individuality" to it. This particular store is run by a husband and wife, who are very earnest and humble. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the drinks are reasonably priced. The skewers may not be outstanding, but they are all decent and you can order with confidence. You can see the kitchen from the counter seats, and the staff work diligently without cutting corners. The prices are very affordable, especially for drinks. I recommend the mixed fry, which includes skin, gizzard, and cartilage for only 400 yen. The vegetable dishes are also good, served with bonito flakes and dashi soy sauce. This is the kind of casual place you would want to stop by on your way home.

Located in a quiet residential area a 10-minute walk from Ekoda station, this chain restaurant is marked by a red lantern. The interior of the restaurant is small, with around 10 seats. While the menu is similar to other branches, this particular location offers an original curry rice porridge that is incredibly delicious as a closing dish. The owner and manager of the restaurant is very attentive and provides excellent service. This is a great place to go for a solo drink when you're in the mood, with above-average yakitori and drinks. A reliable and stable restaurant that is among Juda's favorite chain restaurants.

When it comes to Daikichi, the image is usually of a franchise near the station, a bit noisy and bustling. However, this store offers a calm and relaxing atmosphere where you can enjoy a leisurely meal. I recommend the yakitori bowl. The combination of charcoal-grilled yakitori and rice is excellent for a satisfying meal. The ambiance is great for hanging out with friends or even dining alone. It's also suitable for a date, but since it's not close to the station, it might not be convenient to bring someone from further away for a date.

- There are various types of skewers available, including items with offal, which is perfect for those who enjoy offal.
- The pricing is very reasonable, making it a great choice even when you're on a tight budget.
- The recommended menu item is the "Horsepower," which features garlic in its original form. It may sound strange, but it is surprisingly delicious and addictive.
- It seems to be mainly run by a couple, and the number of seats is limited, so the speed of food service is just right.
- Music is played in the background.
- Credit cards are not accepted for payment, which is unfortunate for those who are trying to accumulate points.
