This is a salad specialty store located in Akasaka 2-chome. They offer a variety of salads as the main dish, allowing customers to get their vegetable intake for both lunch and dinner. You can customize your order by choosing your ingredients, making it possible to create vegan or gluten-free salads. The store opened in October 2020 with the concept of "Do Good". It is operated by the design consulting company, AS System Co., Ltd. They have stores in Akasaka and Koishikawa. The location is about a 3-minute walk from Tameike-Sanno Station Exit 10 and about 4-5 minutes from Akasaka Station Exit 2. It is located on a side street just off the main street, near Tonkatsu Masamune. I visited during lunchtime. The interior of the store is clean with a visible kitchen in the front. There are 5 table seats for dining in. There were 3 groups of customers waiting inside, and although half of the seats were taken, I was able to secure a seat as the previous customer ordered takeout. The customer base is mostly women and includes a fair number of international customers. You need to fill out a form placed in front of the counter, then place your order and pay at the counter. They will call your number when the order is ready for pick-up (takeout orders can be placed through their website). The menu and prices are as follows (tax included): If desired, you can get a complimentary 30g of grains (47kcal). - Original Salad Bowl 7 varieties (S 1,080 yen~, R 1,274 yen~) Dressing can be changed. - Custom Salad (993 yen~) Choose from lettuce or romaine lettuce, 4 toppings, dressing, and additional toppings (+162~320 yen). - Petit Soft Bagel (+162 yen) - Veggie Noodles 3 varieties (1,188 yen~) Low-calorie veggie noodles made by thinly slicing and cooking vegetables to resemble noodles. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced but provided friendly service. However, when orders pile up, it may take some time for the food to be served. I ordered the following: Self-service tea is available. The order was served in about 7 minutes. ● Ume-Katsuobushi Ankake Veggie Noodles (1,188 yen) Thinly sliced zucchini and carrots resembling noodles, shredded steamed chicken, roasted mushroom mix, warm ankake soup made with kudzu and katsuobushi broth, topped with chopped aromatic vegetable mix and salt-reduced umeboshi. The calorie count is 244kcal. I declined the complimentary grains (30g). Let's dig in! The vegetable "noodles" had a good crunch, and the kudzu and mushrooms added texture variety, making it satisfying even with a vegetable-based dish. Mixing the umeboshi into the broth halfway through gave a refreshing aftertaste. I spent about 20 minutes there. The price felt a bit high, but it felt like I got my vegetable intake and the meal was filling. The veggie noodles were unexpectedly delicious and guilt-free. If I ever feel like having a low-calorie meal or need to replenish my vegetables, I would definitely consider revisiting.
