2023 Michelin Bib Gourmand Award-winning restaurant "Flowers&Spanish Sonrisa" by Akiton. A Spanish restaurant with a surprising and incredibly delicious taste. The owners are a florist and chef Mitsutsugu Ueda, who has a background in Japanese cuisine and experience in the world of tea ceremony. The restaurant opened in November 2017, located a 10-minute walk from JR Kamata Station. The interior is decorated with flowers and dried flowers everywhere, creating a beautiful atmosphere. The reviewer ordered: - Avocado, Dill, and Pistachio Salad - Sonrisa Meatballs - Baguette (complimentary) - Cod Milt Ajo Blanco - Squid Ink Meloso - Yellowtail with Olive, Tomato Basque-style Teppanyaki - Basque Cheesecake - Rich Pistachio Basque Cheesecake The reviewer also enjoyed red wines and the good service at the restaurant. The total cost per person for à la carte dishes and two glasses of wine was considered reasonable. The unique and delicious flavors of Spanish cuisine at this restaurant impressed the reviewer, and they expressed a desire to revisit in the future.

I used it for my birthday! It's about an 8-minute walk from Keikyu Kamata. Inside the store, there are many dried flowers and flowers arranged in vases, which are very healing to look at. I made a reservation for 18:00 and was told that there was a reservation after mine, so the stay time was 2 hours and 20 minutes. Since eating was too leisurely (lol), I gave up on the main course and went for small dishes and rice dishes. With free refills of bread, I was quite satisfied by spreading fig butter on it, eating it with aioli, etc. The Meloso was a half portion, but it was enough for two people. Next time, I would like to try the paella, main course, and desserts as they looked delicious. I would like to visit again! - Walnut and fig butter - Bread (complimentary) - Pate - Hamo ajillo - Squid ink Meloso (half) - Cava x2, white wine x2

I visited the restaurant around 18:30 on a weekday by making a same-day reservation. By the time I left, the restaurant was full and seemed very popular. Each dish was a bit pricey, but everything was delicious. The walnut and fig butter was amazing. It's a must-try for butter lovers. The interior of the restaurant is very stylish, but the chairs without backrests can be tiring for long stays. The young staff members were very diligent in explaining the dishes and wines, which I appreciated.

I made a reservation through Twitter after seeing reviews from people I follow. When I visited the restaurant for the first time on a weekday evening, I was the first one there and was seated at the end of the counter. As more customers arrived, the restaurant quickly filled up, with mostly pairs of women and all-female groups at the tables. The decor with dried flowers added to the feminine atmosphere. The young staff members were friendly and explained the dishes and wines in detail. The dishes I had were: - Fresh oysters with Delaware grapes - Stir-fried tomato and sherry octopus - Uni and seaweed croquette - Summer truffle and mushroom omelette with Mandego cheese - Fig butter with walnuts - Grilled Shinshu deer from Nakagawa village in a fricassée style - Half-size cuttlefish ink risotto I enjoyed craft beer, white wine by the bottle and glass, and red wine by the glass. All the dishes were delicious, but I particularly liked the deer meat, omelette, and octopus. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Opened in November 2017, the restaurant named "Sonrisa" means "smile" in Spanish. It is a Spanish cuisine restaurant that was renovated from a flower shop's atelier. They have been awarded a Bib Gourmand in the "Michelin Guide Tokyo 2023". Due to its origins as a flower shop, you can also order gift bouquets while enjoying natural wine, Spanish cuisine, and flowers at the restaurant. Regarding reservations: - It is recommended to make a reservation as the restaurant tends to be fully booked. - I was able to make a reservation for counter seats one week in advance by phone. - On the day I visited, the restaurant was fully booked, so it is better to make a reservation. - The reservation was for Saturday at 5:00 PM, and we had to leave by 7:30 PM. The restaurant mentioned a 2.5-hour limit when making the reservation, which felt a bit tight considering the amount of food and drinks we had. - It seemed like the next time slot was also fully booked, so weekends may not be ideal for a leisurely dining experience. Recommended dishes: - Grilled Shinshu deer in Fricassee style (¥3,800) - Summer truffle and mushroom, Manchego cheese omelette (¥2,200) - Kumamoto red beef tartare (¥2,600) - Broccoli teppanyaki with broccoli and pistachio hummus (¥1,580) - Cuttlefish ink Meloso 1/2 (¥1,900) - Basque cheesecake 1/2 (¥400) - Black cocoa Basque cake 1/2 (¥450)

A cozy Spanish bar with a nice atmosphere. You can try a rare orange wine here. It's not made from fruit, but when making white wine, the skin and seeds are soaked together, giving it a color similar to white wine but with a hint of bitterness. Although there is a cover charge, the bread basket is complimentary, which is nice, and the staff are friendly. It's also convenient that some dishes can be ordered in single portions.

This is a casual Spanish in-cama-ta located in a stylish showroom that used to be a flower shop. It's always exciting to discover a delicious restaurant. I would love to visit this place when I have the chance. I'm not a big fan of flashy, showy restaurants, but here you can enjoy Spanish cuisine in a relaxed bistro-like atmosphere. It seems like a good place to impress girls and try to charm them over a glass of Cava. The cozy atmosphere of the small but elegant interior, which used to be a flower showroom, adds to the charm. We managed to secure a last-minute reservation, but I recommend booking in advance as the place was packed. The walk-in customers were turned away. We indulged in more than one glass of wine, so our bill was around 10,000 yen, but the food was delicious and the natural wines were great. They had a wide selection of Spanish wines. Located in the outskirts of Kamata, this is a recommended spot for the stylish trendsetters like you. Immerse yourself in the passionate red of Spain in your lifestyle. In the photos, you can see a bit of the impression.

I was very satisfied with the atmosphere and taste of the restaurant. There were many flowers inside the store, and lots of greenery outside, which was very soothing. The food had unique combinations of ingredients, which was surprising and enjoyable to eat. I think it's a good place to go for special occasions!

I visited on a regular night. The restaurant was almost full. They had interesting options like Kamata craft beer. The wine seemed to be natural. The staff explained the dishes and helped us choose the right amount. I was surprised to see lots of Delaware oysters on one dish! The cooking was done very well. The deer meat was delicious, and the sauce was just to my liking. I wanted to eat it forever! I also enjoyed the paella. Overall, I loved the stylish and delicious food at this Kamata restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

A stylish Spanish restaurant that feels like a blend of a chic flower shop and a wine bar. Today was my third visit and I started with sparkling wine, fig salad, and a platter of prosciutto. The staff, especially the friendly young man, were all very welcoming. They offer a variety of wines by the glass, making it a recent favorite of mine.

It's a stylish restaurant in Kamata. I regret going to the second place first, I should have gone to the first place. Young couples, middle-aged groups, people of all ages are enjoying their meals. Uni cream croquette, hummus, paella, everything is delicious and goes well with wine. I don't often eat Spanish food, so I was surprised by the deliciousness of the dishes. The conversation flows smoothly. It's nice that the baguette is all-you-can-eat.

I learned about a Spanish restaurant in Kamata that was selected as a Bib Gourmand in the Michelin Guide Tokyo 2023. The restaurant was renovated from a flower shop's atelier, and it still serves as a showroom for the flower shop, with cute flower arrangements that change with the seasons. The place was packed with customers, showing its popularity. They offer a la carte dishes, and I tried the following: Sonrisa-style Pan con Tomate with figs and water eggplant, cress flowers, and Valdeon tapas; Sonrisa-style meatballs; Nakagawa Village Shinshu deer fricassee; and Paella Arroz Abanda (made with sea bream and spider crab broth). All the dishes were delicious, especially the paella which left a big impression! They seem to focus on natural wines. The staff were all very friendly, and I had a great time there! Cost: 9,000 yen Rating: 4.5 stars 5 stars: Definitely want to revisit! 4 stars: Would revisit if given the chance. 3 stars: Would consider revisiting. 2 stars: Once is enough. 1 star: No need to go.

I visited with the intention of having a quick drink, but ended up indulging in paella and dessert as well. This Spanish bar focuses on Spanish drinks, with a selection of Scotch whiskies aged in Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez casks. I wanted to try Sherry that day, so I ordered Fino and Pedro Ximenez after the opening bubbly. I ended up drinking quickly and the food pairing got all mixed up, but I had a great time doing as I pleased. I didn't take any photos of the food, but I remember the tartare being delicious. I love the atmosphere and the food, so I will definitely visit again.

A small Spanish bar located along a main street leading to JR Kamata Station, not far from Keikyu Kamata Station. I had been curious about this place for a while, but due to the pandemic, I didn't have the chance to visit until now. The restaurant is not very noticeable, and Kamata is not a well-known area for dining, especially for Spanish cuisine. Although the restaurant doesn't have high ratings on Tabelog, it was listed in the Michelin Guide last year, which seems to have increased its popularity. I was surprised to see that even Michelin pays attention to such small places. I made a reservation and visited early in the evening. The restaurant seemed quite busy, but I was glad that it was relatively easy to make a reservation even at the last minute. The menu mainly consists of a la carte dishes, with the option to order half-size portions for most items, making it easy for solo diners. I tried a variety of dishes, all made with fresh seasonal ingredients, some of which were rare and hard to find outside of places like Shinshu. The restaurant also offers a selection of natural Spanish wines by the glass, which can be paired with each dish. The portion sizes were just right, and the attention to detail in the ingredients was impressive. I ended the meal with a Basque cheesecake, which was small but delicious. Overall, I was impressed by the quality of the food, surpassing that of many well-known Japanese chefs specializing in Spanish cuisine. I look forward to visiting again in the future as the restaurant continues to gain popularity and evolve.

First time visiting. About an 8-minute walk from Kamata Station. I think it's closer to Keikyu. I hadn't noticed before, but I was able to make a reservation, so I decided to visit. The interior of the store and flower-related decorations. Employee training. I could feel that everything was well done. I tried various dishes, and they were all carefully prepared. Personally, I really liked the squid ink paella. The size of the paella dish was impressive! It was a bit difficult to serve, but the kitchen staff kindly assisted us. ■ Squid Ink Paella 3,600 yen ■ Octopus Caldoso 3,600 yen ■ Sagari Porcini Grill 5,500 yen ■ Potato Aioli 700 yen ■ Broccoli Hummus 1,580 yen ■ Cheese Assortment 1,800 yen ■ Fig Butter 980 yen It was also nice that we could get free refills of bread. * The sauces for the dishes were also delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by after a long time and luckily managed to get a seat as a customer happened to be leaving. I had an omelette with black truffle and mushrooms as well as Basque-style cheesecake, accompanied by a light wine. The omelette had a wonderful aroma of black truffle and was incredibly delicious. The cheesecake was rich and I finished it in no time.

From the stylish appearance with lots of beautiful flowers outside, to the interior filled with flowers creating a cute and calming atmosphere, this shop seems like a place where women would be delighted to visit. They offer both table seating and counter seating, and their menu includes seasonal limited edition dishes that all look delicious, making me want to visit again. They have a wide variety of wines that can be enjoyed with their dishes. The garlic shrimp, omelette, octopus, and paella are all must-try items here! The paella is unbelievably delicious! If you know of a place with even better paella, please let me know. The total cost was around 24,000 yen, including ordering a bottle of wine. Since I live nearby and really liked it, I definitely want to visit again.

I didn't know there was a shop like this in the flower shop in Spanic Tachikawa... I made a reservation and visited the shop for the first time at 9 p.m. when it was raining. The shop was full. It was full until around 11 p.m. Luckily, I sat at the counter where I could talk to the chef. Since it was my first visit, I asked about the shop's system. The menu changes daily with the date. It's better to order early because the main dish and paella take time to cook. I chose the paella with real octopus and the main dish with venison fricassée from Nagano Prefecture. I started with rosé wine. It's the one with Iniesta from soccer. It's refreshing and suitable for spring and summer. I had short rib beef tartare (the one in the photo) and sautéed Sendai celery with walnuts and raisins with the rosé wine. The additional order of grilled eggplant hummus was also delicious. The complimentary baguette was also delicious. The venison main dish had a texture similar to Chateaubriand. I've never had venison with such fine fibers before. The paella had a whole leg of real octopus, which was so tender that it melted in my mouth. Oh, it was delicious. Delicious.

Sonrisa is a lovely bar in the Basque Country of Spain, surrounded by beautiful flowers. The owner, Mr. Ueda, is a Japanese chef with a deep knowledge of tableware. He creates Spanish dishes with a touch of Japanese essence, which are loved by the locals, especially female customers. I enjoyed the sardine ham and strawberry appetizer, as well as the oysters with butter sauce. The ink squid paella was my main dish, and it was delicious. I even took some Basque cheesecake home as a souvenir because it was the best I've ever had. I can't wait to come back with friends to try more dishes next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Located in Kamata, a place that may not be easily reached without acquiring a Bib Gourmand award, this restaurant offers a bright and glamorous atmosphere that completely changes the image of Kamata. Upon entering, friendly staff welcome you into the renovated workspace of a flower shop, which is now a restaurant with an L-shaped counter, six-person tables, and multiple two-person tables that quickly fill up. The restaurant offers a wide selection of natural wines to accompany their creative Spanish cuisine, allowing guests to enjoy a leisurely meal and conversation. The attentive staff ensures a pleasant dining experience in the cozy yet spacious interior. The menu showcases dishes with a creative Spanish flair, adjusted to suit the tastes of Japanese diners. Ordering a la carte, the must-try dish is the Valencian rice paella, paired perfectly with a bottle of red wine for a delightful dining experience. This restaurant is definitely worth revisiting for the anticipation of trying different dishes. It's no wonder Michelin inspectors discovered this gem of a restaurant.
