I've been exploring around this area for a few years, but even I didn't notice the existence of this shop until recently! The atmosphere is like a cross between a casual izakaya and a small Japanese restaurant. Despite the location, both the exterior and interior are extremely clean and neat, so you might feel a bit nervous at first, but the prices are not high! We ordered a sake appetizer set, deep-fried corn, today's grilled fish (black sea bream), fried horse mackerel, deep-fried corn, fried tofu, pickles, rice cooked in a pot, and miso soup. Each dish showed careful craftsmanship, and not only the taste but also the presentation was beautiful, making us feel a bit luxurious. The pot rice was especially recommended! The owner may look a bit tough at first glance, but he actually seems shy and nice! There were miniature portable shrines displayed, so I wonder if he is one of the carriers...? So cool! The landlady was also kind, and it was a wonderful place for adults to visit. Meow!

From Higashiyon Town to Kiba, Strolling Around Part 42. In terms of numbering, it may be number 4, but in reality, I was taken by the person who has been most helpful to me. It's a small restaurant nestled in the back alley of Higashiyon 3-chome, leaning more towards a small dish restaurant than an izakaya. They seem to focus on kamameshi in their food menu. I didn't have kamameshi this time, but small dish restaurants or traditional Japanese restaurants seem to have a high adoption rate of Ebisu or Black Label. Even at this restaurant, they use both without fail. I ended up going for a small bottle of Ebisu draft beer (medium) for 650 yen and a small bottle of Black Label for 700 yen. The prices of alcoholic beverages are at a small dish restaurant level. If it weren't for the patron, I would have definitely stuck to the small bottle and sipped slowly route. I even ended up opening a Next Keep Bottle (Akakiri Shima - price unknown)! I am truly grateful for their generosity. As for the food, the high quality of seafood stood out. They may not have rare items, but everything was fresh and delicious! Also, the patron casually mentioned that the gyoza was good. It had a slightly burnt edge, but the skin was chewy and good. The lightly seasoned but delicious filling made it a great gyoza. In addition, the luxurious mayo salad with crab and the crispy crab salad covered with fried spring roll skin were creative dishes. The crispy texture of the crumbled spring roll skin mixed in was satisfying. Looking back, I realized I had ordered items that were oddly similar to izakaya dishes. However, the shijono dashi as the appetizer was elegantly delicious, and the tempura was fried perfectly. It was a refined restaurant in every way. The prices are on the higher side, but compared to the alcohol, the overall cost of the food is relatively reasonable. Ultimately, it all comes down to the patron's generosity, so I am truly grateful. Therefore, the exact bill is unknown, and the estimated cost per person is just for reference.

In a back alley, there is a famous shop with a beautiful Japanese-style interior. It's very cozy and relaxing to drink there. The sashimi is fresh and delicious, with a sharp taste. Next time, I want to try the kama-meshi as a satisfying meal!

Everything is delicious and cost-effective! Especially the simmered cod was so fluffy and perfectly seasoned, it was amazing. I wasn't feeling well and requested some light Japanese food, and I was taken to this place. Next time, I want to enjoy it with some sake.

I don't like restaurants with unfriendly service, as mentioned in my profile. Despite being busy and not wanting to cook, I decided to try out a new restaurant and ended up at a place with a promising sign in front of it, right next to "Negishi". A young man, who I quickly recognized as the owner's son, greeted me with a cold attitude. The atmosphere felt like he was reluctantly doing his job. The father, who I assume is the owner, also lacked a friendly demeanor. Perhaps this place is only for regular customers? As for the food, the gyoza that was advertised as being wrapped after ordering lacked the crispy texture. The sashimi was average. But considering the prices, around 1500 yen per person, it felt a bit expensive. The yakitori was not great, with the liver having a strong organ smell. Additionally, when I ordered a lemon highball, I received an acerola highball instead without any clarification. Isn't it strange to serve the wrong drink without asking? The shirasu appetizer was also too salty. All of this for around 5000 yen... Overall, I didn't have a good experience at this izakaya. Disappointing.

Thank you for the delicious meal! It was really good! Thank you, chef, for listening to my stories. I'm sorry for talking too much. Next time, I'll bring my wife with me! This hidden gem of a restaurant in a hard-to-find alley has a welcoming atmosphere with a down-to-earth feel. I couldn't resist ordering the sashimi platter, and it was amazing. Maybe because it's close to Tsukiji, the quality of the fish was great and reasonably priced. It's definitely different from your typical izakaya. I'll try some sake next time. They recommended the hot pot, but since this was our second stop, I'll save it for next time! However, I couldn't help but notice a woman at another table exclaiming, "Delicious!" The dishes must be really tasty. I wanted to try just one bite! I'll have to wait until next time! I look forward to enjoying a warm pot of food next time. I saw tomato nukazuke for the first time. It seems like there's a lot more to explore. I liked it so much that I decided to write my first review on Tabelog! I should have taken photos of the dishes!

The restaurant "Fujifusa" is run by a young couple and has a casual atmosphere. They have a counter (6 seats), tables (4 seats), and a tatami room (15 seats) in the back. The menu includes a variety of sashimi, grilled fish, simmered dishes, grilled chicken, and other dishes, all reasonably priced from 300 to 500 yen. The sashimi, grilled fish, and simmered dishes are highly recommended, and the grilled chicken platter is a good deal. The tomatoes are a dish where you can tell the chef puts in effort. They also have a good selection of sake and shochu. It's a place you'll want to make your regular spot.
