After having our first round in Ginza, we decided to move on to a second venue. The first place was a bit disappointing, so we were looking for somewhere to enjoy some good meat dishes. As we walked from Corridor Street towards Hibiya, we stumbled upon a charming yakitori restaurant. There were people dining outside, and the inside seemed quite crowded, but when we asked the staff, they led us to the second floor. Both the exterior and interior had a nice atmosphere. The menu was not limited to just yakitori, but also included grilled pork, beef tripe stew, and fried chicken among other options. They had a good variety of drinks too. We were served some cabbage as a complimentary appetizer. For yakitori, we ordered negima, seseri, bonjiri, sunagimo, sasami umeboshi, and nama tsukune (with sauce). We were also recommended the beef tripe stew as an early dish, so we ordered that as well. The yakitori arrived about 15 minutes after ordering, and they were all made with fresh and juicy chicken, very delicious. Particularly, the seseri had a nice crunchy texture. The tripe stew was tender and had a flavor that complemented the drinks well. They had a good selection of drinks including beer, sake, highball, and awamori. We arrived at 7:30 pm and before we knew it, it was already 11:00 pm (laughs). The taste and atmosphere were both great, so we would like to visit again next time.
