[Tachiataru] / Kitasenju Crab Cream Croquette 350 yen/each [Price] 3,000 yen per person [Visit Time] Visited around 9:00 pm on a weekday [Wait Time] Visited casually, no wait time It is recommended to save this for reference before going to the store ✏️ Nearby shops can be found here → #gurumani_Kitasenju [Menu Received] - Chicken Skin Stew 500 yen - Crab Cream Croquette 350 yen/each - Sweet Shrimp Salted Roe 400 yen - Cilantro Lemon Sour 450 yen - Hojicha Sour 500 yen - Dobb Highball 650 yen Impressions: Hello, I want to conquer the Ataru series! It's gurumani here! This is a shop in the same series as [Janso Ataru] that I introduced before! It's conveniently located near the station, which is nice! It reminds me of [Komaru] and [Kushami] in Sangenjaya, with a cozy atmosphere where even strangers can get along well. The menu is chosen from what is displayed on the wall of the shop, so it's tough for those with poor eyesight, haha. As it was the second stop, I followed the recommendation of the staff ▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎ Let's dig in ◀︎◀︎◀︎◀︎◀︎ Chicken Skin Stew: I ordered this because it was recommended by the staff, and it was no mistake! A stew of only chicken skin with plenty of yuzu pepper on top! The single egg sitting there is also nice! The plump chicken skin and yuzu pepper go perfectly together, making the sake go down smoothly! Crab Cream Croquette: This masterpiece recommended by the staff! The breathtaking appearance the moment it arrived! Isn't it just beautiful? Isn't it irresistible? Even when you cut it open, it's beautiful! And when you taste it, happiness floods your mouth! It's so delightful! Please remember to try this when you visit this place! Sweet Shrimp Salted Roe: Sweet shrimp salted roe on top of grated radish! This is a dish that goes well with sake! It's delicious on its own, and it's also enjoyable when combined with grated radish, offering multiple ways to enjoy it, which is great! Cilantro Lemon Sour: Yes, this is the number one recommended drink for cilantro lovers! It was so good! Hojicha Sour: This was so delicious that I had it two or three times! It was really amazing! It reminded me of the hojicha highball I had at [Koyama Parking] in Fukuoka, it was so fresh and tasty! Dobb Highball: It's like a doburoku soda mix, but this one is just right! It's not too strong, but it gives you that feeling of happiness from drinking alcohol! ▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎▶︎ Thank you for the meal ◀︎◀︎◀︎◀︎◀︎ There are too many irresistible shops in Kitasenju! It's nice to be able to drink with strangers at places like this, isn't it? For photos and text that couldn't be included, I have started posting them in detail on my blog! Please take a look! I found this restaurant for the first time when I searched for it. When I checked their Instagram, I thought I would definitely go if it was nearby, and when I went, it was really great. They have a wide variety of sour drinks, as well as sake and wine. Most importantly, all the dishes were delicious and worth more than their price. The interior of the restaurant is clean, the air conditioning works well, and there were no negatives at all. If I have the chance, I will definitely visit again.

I had something to celebrate, so I asked, "Where do you want to go?" "Tachiaru!" "Huh? Standing bar, right? Is that okay?" "Of course. It's the best!" So we went to my favorite place for a Saturday afternoon drink. Everything I ate and drank was delicious. The simmered chicken skin is the best. The atmosphere of the restaurant and the cheerful customers make it a great place. Hooray for Kitasenju!

I was recommended to this popular place in Kitasenju, and it was really good! The food was delicious, especially the crab cream croquette, pork tongue, beef and oyster tartare, and chicken skin stew. The crab cream croquette was amazing with a creamy inside and crab meat on top. The tartare was also delicious, and they had a variety of sour drinks that I enjoyed. I found a new favorite restaurant that I really liked. Thank you for the meal!

I was drawn to a trendy neon-lit izakaya and decided to give it a try. It was a standing bar, perfect for Instagram photos. I was wondering if the food would be as good as it looked, and I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious sashimi platter. It paired perfectly with the variety of sake they offered. I definitely want to go back again.

I was able to easily get a table because I visited the restaurant early when it's usually crowded. I ordered Negitoro Kimchi Yukke, Menma, and Coriander Tofu which were perfect for drinking. It's not always available, but it was lucky that I could drink at a reasonable price now!

I arrived at the restaurant around 9 pm on a weekday, just a 5-minute walk from Kita-Senju Station, and it was packed with customers coming in one after another. It's very popular, with great service, delicious food, and a lively atmosphere. The only downside is that the prices are a bit high for a standing bar. Items ordered: - Chicken skin stew - Amberjack sashimi (eaten with sansho pepper and karasumi) - Rare beef cutlet - Homemade corned beef - Kombu-marinated chicken tenderloin

I visited around 8pm on a regular day. Even if you think you can't get in, they often manage to squeeze you in, so it's best to ask when you get to the front of the store. We ordered karasumi and sansho, kanpachi, beef cutlet, and two more dishes for two people, along with a bottle of beer and one sour each, totaling around 7000 yen. It's a bit pricey for a standing bar, but among the Ataru group restaurants, this one is the most casual and easy to get into.

This standing bar has a unique menu with creatively crafted dishes not found in regular izakayas. They also offer a variety of rare Japanese sake. I arrived at 3pm on a Saturday and it quickly filled up, showing its popularity. The staff members were friendly and welcoming. The place was packed but if you enjoy a lively and bustling atmosphere, you'll love it here.

One evening, I wandered into a dimly lit alley in Kita-Senju. As I walked away from the hustle and bustle of the bar district and ventured into the alley, I stumbled upon an unexpected treasure. The neon lights shining on the facade gave off a slightly shady vibe at first glance. However, there was a definite charm hidden within. Stepping inside, I found a counter in the shape of a "L" where people were smiling and engaging in conversation with each other. The atmosphere felt like a warm community, instantly putting my mind at ease. The people gathered there seemed to be seeking solace from their daily fatigue or perhaps turning a new page in their lives. The food menu featured unique combinations of dishes that stood out from typical restaurants. Each dish exuded a unique appeal yet blended together harmoniously, offering a taste of unknown deliciousness. I felt a stirring in my heart, moved by the experience. I was also surprised by the wide variety of drinks available. Each had its own distinct flavor, and when enjoyed with the food, their tastes were further enhanced. I could sense the story unfolding through the interplay of food and drinks. Surrendering to a pleasant exhaustion and a sense of intoxication, I lost track of time. The world of this extraordinary restaurant transcended common sense, giving me the excitement of an explorer venturing into uncharted territories. And when I returned from that abyss, my heart surely carried new hues. Oh, what a beautiful night it was. I feel like I'm still in a dream. Experience new encounters and emotions at this roadside restaurant in Kita-Senju. For me, it was an adventure of a night.

At a shop located in a back alley of the North Senju drinking alley, just a 2-minute walk from Kita-Senju Station, there is a place with a flashy neon sign featuring the striking face of Ataru Ojisan. This standing bar has a Neo style and a branch in Okinawa, but unfortunately, the one in Naha has closed down, leaving only the one in Kita-Senju. The recommended dishes include the Chashu Egg for 550 yen, Osaka-style Chashu Egg with thick slices of pork chashu and a half-boiled egg topped with sweet chashu sauce and mayonnaise. The Seseri and Garlic Sprout Stir-fry for 500 yen has a unique flavor with cumin, and the combination of garlic sprouts and cumin gives it an Asian touch. Lastly, the Uni and Ikura Garlic Toast for 350 yen is a perfect snack to go with drinks, with a crispy baguette loaded with garlic and topped with flavorful ikura. Pairing it with a lemon sour or Hida Doburo unrefined sake is recommended. Cheers!

A standing bar with a counter. It was packed from 3 pm, and when I asked at the entrance if there was room, the customers made space for me. It's a common sight at standing bars with many regular customers, where everyone stands not straight but at an angle to fit more people in. It's really nice how people help each other out. It felt like a post-COVID relief. The interior has a counter in the shape of a "C". The menu is posted on the wall. This is "Tachiataru" in Kitasenju. I had a sense of familiarity as there used to be "Tachiataru 2" in Naha, but unfortunately, it closed this year. This place is thriving. I ordered the simmered dish with plenty of green onions and yuzu pepper. The staff is friendly, and Kitasenju has many places for bar hopping, similar to Akabane in the west. I had a fun night enjoying good drinks after a long time.

At Atar series, a popular standing bar in Kitasenju, the small dishes served are delicious. I tried the garlic toast with sea urchin and salmon roe, as well as the shrimp salted roe. I started with a soy milk highball, which I discovered here and now make at home sometimes. For the second half, I selected a good Japanese sake, Eiko. They have a nice selection of sake here. I always leave satisfied. I will definitely come back again!

I'm sorry, the prices are not mentioned. I went to Kandaya for a drinking session this month. I had a few drinks and my memory is a bit hazy... I ordered sasami with seaweed, pickled mushrooms, namul with kujyo negi, rock seaweed, sake thief with cream cheese, salt lemon sour, super ura ga, Yamaryu Wakakoma, Kamonishiki, Fusouzuru. I don't have photos of the rest, so I don't remember what else I ordered (laughs). I will go back again soon. Thank you for the meal.

End of the month. Finished my errands quickly and went for drinks in Kita-senju. Enjoyed happy hour at HUB and then went bar hopping. It was crowded but I was able to get in since I was alone. I ordered a Tomato Highball, Nokusa Horaipaiyui, Soga Pale Ale, and Avocado Roll. I also tried the limited edition Abokado Raayu Komi Gohan. This time, I pretty much went all out on drinks. I always look forward to enjoying good drinks here. Thank you for the meal.

Last week, I had so much fun that I ended up coming back again (lol). I ate a lot and drank a lot, so the total amount spent is not really useful as a reference (´・ω・`). I ordered a tomato highball, lemon sour, Fukumikan rum soda, coffee-infused awamori, sweet shrimp salted roe, menma and coriander salad, simmered chicken skin, and Ataru's leek and egg. I also got to know other customers and enjoyed their company. It was another enjoyable experience. Thank you for the meal.

I finally visited a restaurant that I had been wanting to go to for a long time right after it opened. I ended up staying until the last minute (I even brought my friends back for one more drink haha). I ordered tantaka highball, sweet shrimp salted, sautéed chicken with butterbur, pickled tomato, grated yam with kelp, coffee-infused awamori (diluted with water), dobu highball. I chose the sautéed chicken with butterbur from the limited-time menu for snacks. The moistness of the chicken and the richness of the butterbur miso were excellent. This calls for sake!! (I had some). For alcohol, I recommend the coffee-infused awamori diluted with water. It has a refreshing taste and a wonderful coffee aroma. The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was great. It's a place where you can enjoy a quick drink with friends or relax by yourself. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a while ago. It is relatively easy to get in on weekdays except for weekends. It might be a bit crowded on Fridays, so you might have to wait a bit if there are two or more people. The food is always good no matter what you order! My favorites are the leek and egg dish, and the Parmesan cheese anago tempura. The anago tempura alone can make you feel full (female in her early 20s). I usually start with a highball (with lemon, the best!) for drinks, and then I order recommended sake from the staff. They will suggest sake based on your preferences or what you feel like drinking, making it easy to try new things. It's a rare and welcoming restaurant in Kitasenju where even solo female customers can feel comfortable, so I will definitely visit again!

Tachiataru-san after a month. It's always crowded whenever I come. Last time it was mostly women, but this time there are more male customers. Today, I look around the store and search for the menu. First, I order a lemon sour (480 yen). The alcohol here is a bit strong and delicious. * Avocado with crispy chili oil (400 yen) Avocado with crispy chili oil. Perfect for drinking. * Iwano seaweed with sake lees and cream cheese (400 yen) Iwano seaweed with sake lees is my first time trying it. It's salty and delicious. Sake lees cream cheese is delicious, but I always think it's expensive for the amount. * Kikurage and Kujo green onion namul (350 yen) The presence of Kujo green onion is subtle, but it was delicious with a crispy and refreshing texture. It was also nice that there was a lot of it. * Salt koji-grilled salmon belly (500 yen) A rare authentic dish in this kind of restaurant. The salt koji flavor was a bit weak. It was nice to have grated daikon and salmon roe on top.

I visited this restaurant after seeing my favorite YouTuber visit. On that day, I had only consumed water since dinner the night before due to a health check-up, so I was very hungry. I had a few drinks and some food at a nearby izakaya before the restaurant opened. At this restaurant, I had two lemon sours and a dish of mackerel and udo flower salad. The salad was so good that I want to try making it at home. Even though this was my second stop of the night, I enjoyed it and would like to come back to try more dishes next time. If this restaurant was near my house, I would probably come every weekend. The lemon sours were not too sweet and very delicious!
