I arrived 20 minutes before the usual opening time during the day, and I was the third group in line. The place is definitely popular as always. They only allow up to 6 groups for the first time. The background music is jazz piano, and there are fresh flowers decorating the interior. The sake options are Otaru "Kei" Junmai Ginjo Muroka Nama and Toyosakura Junmai Shiboritate. The complimentary dish is soba miso. For appetizers, I ordered grilled miso, tofu miso pickles, and kakiage. For the main dish, I had duck seiro soba. Of course, they serve soba with a small cup and a ladle. The duck comes with 4 slices and 2 tsukune. The preparation before the soba dish is impressive, and the soba itself has a wonderful aroma and taste. The service is always exceptional, attentive, and thoughtful. It's a truly happy and satisfying experience with nothing to complain about.

I visited Yoshibourin in Nezu after a long time. Personally, I really like this soba restaurant. The service is good, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious. Today, I ordered the duck soba and the small tendon bowl. The soba today is said to be Kita Wase soba from Fukayama, Akagi-mura, Gunma Prefecture. The duck slices and meatballs are served in the dipping sauce. The duck is moist and delicious. The portion is also satisfying. The dipping sauce has a rich flavor of duck. The soba has a good texture. And the small tendon bowl. Despite being called small, it is quite filling. The tempura has a strong flavor, but the shiso leaf on top of the rice makes it refreshing. This place is still a great restaurant. Highly recommended.

Before the summer vacation ends, I visited the restaurant again to enjoy delicious soba noodles one more time. This time, I ordered the duck soba that I couldn't try last time due to the bird flu situation. It came with thickly sliced duck meat, 4 slices, and 2 duck meatballs, very generous portions! The duck had a unique aroma and flavor without any unpleasant taste, making it delicious. All of this for only 2,000 yen! I felt it was a good deal. The soba noodles also had a strong flavor that complemented the duck well, making it very tasty. I look forward to visiting again soon. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant without a reservation at the opening time of 5:30 PM, but it was fully booked. However, they were able to seat me as there were some late customers. I ordered the grated yam soba and rolled omelette. The texture of the soba was excellent, and the dipping sauce was refined in taste. The grated yam was sticky and delicious. The rolled omelette was fluffy and tasty.

Firstly, this soba restaurant offers high-quality dishes where you can truly taste the flavor of the ingredients. However, for some reason, their tempura dishes are incredibly generous in portion size, making them a great deal. Their lunch-only tempura rice bowl is especially suspiciously good value. The light and clean taste of the frying oil doesn't overpower the soba noodles, which is another positive point.

I wanted to eat delicious soba, so I visited this place after a long time. I arrived 35 minutes before the opening, but there were already 4-5 groups waiting, so I had to wait for the second round. It was tough waiting in the 37-degree heat, but there was a shade in front of the shop and it was quite comfortable inside with the breeze. The staff even served cold soba tea, which made the wait of about an hour more bearable. I ordered a large portion of eggplant broth soba and burdock tempura because I wanted to eat a lot. I actually wanted to have duck soba, but it was not available due to concerns about bird flu. The eggplant broth soba was incredibly delicious! The taste of the vegetables was rich, and I think they were sautéed. The combination of eggplant, oil, and dashi was outstanding and incredibly tasty! The burdock tempura was also generous in portion, and the flavor of the burdock was intense and delicious! Furthermore, there were also tempura of cherry tomatoes, corn, bracken, and fried green peppers, which made it feel like a great deal. Moreover, all the vegetables had a concentrated sweetness and umami, making them really delicious. It was a long time since I had such delicious soba. I would love to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at "Yoshi Fusa Rin". I arrived 15 minutes before the 11:30 opening time, but unfortunately couldn't get in on the first round and had to wait for over an hour. Soba is served quickly, but when people start drinking, the turnover is slow. I ordered the "Seiro" for 950 yen, the "Inaka" for 1000 yen, and the "Ko Tendon" for 600 yen. First, the "Ko Tendon" arrived. Despite being "small", it had a generous serving of 7 or 8 pieces of tempura. The rich broth made me want to drink while enjoying the tempura. However, when the soba arrived, I resisted drinking and enjoyed the soba and tempura. I compared the "Seiro" and "Inaka" soba, and found that the "Seiro" had a slightly green hue and a fluffy aroma of soba when eaten. The "Inaka" had a typical brown color and tasted good with a bit of salt. After enjoying the soba and tempura, I finished the leftover rice with pickles and soba soup, feeling very full. Next time, I thought it would be nice to start with a small tendon and a drink, and then finish with soba.

I visited for lunch and waited in line for about 10 minutes before being seated. I ordered the Ten Seiro for 2000 yen, and the tempura was very delicious. In particular, the corn tempura was amazing and I had never tasted anything like it before. The portion of soba noodles was not very large, but with such delicious tempura, I finished it quickly. I would like to visit again.

I visited a soba restaurant in Konaya. The restaurant opens at 11:30, but if you want to secure a spot for your first visit, it's better to arrive around 11:00. There are only about 6-7 seats available, so arriving around this time will help you avoid standing and waiting. I arrived before 11:00, but there were already customers ahead of me. This restaurant is known for its generous portions of tempura, so the "Tenseiro" set seems to be quite popular. The tempura included brown mushrooms, avocados, green beans wrapped in seaweed, small tomatoes, new onions, corn, pumpkin, and shrimp. The mushroom tempura was new to me and quite delicious. The corn was also excellent. Using small tomatoes was a nice touch and very tasty. The shrimp tempura was firm and fresh. The only downside was that the soba noodles themselves were just average, not as chewy and glossy as I prefer. The soba soup was made with soba flour, which was appreciated. The volume of tempura was overwhelming. I also ordered a small tempura rice bowl on the side, which was quite large. The tempura rice bowl also had an impressive amount of tempura. It included two shiitake mushrooms, two fish cakes, small shrimp, sweet potato, shiso flower, and I forgot one more item. This was more than enough. The side of pickled vegetables was also perfect. It's hard to believe it's only 600 yen.

This is my second visit but my first post. I ordered a set of soba noodles, assorted tempura, fried mochi, and steamed rice cakes. The soba noodles were chewy and delicious, and I enjoyed trying out different condiments to change up the flavors. The assorted tempura had a wide variety of options and was a generous portion even for two people. I was already quite full by the time the soba noodles arrived. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again when I'm in the area.

I visited the restaurant from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm as requested. The place was crowded, so I was seated early to make it to my next reservation. I started with a beer, and the appetizer was excellent. It was really delicious. I snacked lightly and then moved on to sake. I could see through the glass that they were making soba noodles. I ordered tempura soba, which I highly recommend. The tempura was crispy and really delicious. Be sure to try it!

Yoshibo Rin is located along a road near Konan Station, and it's a restaurant that I really love and have visited many times. Today, I ordered the Iso-Ten Oroshi Soba. My husband chose the Koden Don and the Agemochi Oroshi Soba. It was my first time trying the Agemochi Oroshi Soba. The soba noodles were smooth and had a good texture. The aroma was a bit subtle, but the tempura was crispy and the broth was just right. And the soba water was delicious. Some places have not-so-tasty soba water, but here it's delicious. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

A famous soba restaurant near the Kanamori Shrine. Arrived shortly after opening and the first round was already full, with about 7 groups waiting outside... It took almost an hour to get a seat. The soba was very delicious. It was worth the wait. It's a popular place, and the staff are excellent at customer service! They even apologized multiple times for making us wait in the heat. They accept PayPay in addition to cash.

It's been a while since I had work in the Ueno area. I arrived earlier than the scheduled time and decided to have lunch first. I had researched a restaurant in advance. The famous soba restaurant was located close to the place I visited first. I arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes before opening time, and there were already about 10 customers waiting. It's definitely a popular place. I entered the restaurant after it opened and ordered the "Ten Seiro" soba. The soba had a good texture and flavor. The tempura was also delicious and filling. By the time I finished eating, I was quite full and satisfied with my lunch. The attentive service also contributes to the popularity of the restaurant.

I made a reservation and visited at 19:30. The appetizers were very luxurious and delicious. The scent of sansho pepper was exquisite. There was a fruit tomato with umeshu jelly and sansho seeds, an eel soba sushi roll (I think), and grilled duck hearts wrapped in dashi-flavored omelette. We ordered five dishes: tofu marinated in miso with raw karasumi, soba sashimi, spring rolls wrapped in soba miso, grilled duck hearts, and dashi-flavored rolled omelette. I especially liked the spring rolls. The combination of sweet soba miso and oil was delightful. The grilled duck hearts were fresh and full of flavor with every bite. The rolled omelette had the perfect amount of saltiness. We also ordered an extra serving of seiro soba. My wife had soba noodles with grated yam. The tempura was fantastic. Just like with the spring rolls and rolled omelette, the oil was fresh and light. It didn't feel heavy on the stomach. The soba noodles were delicious as well. But above all, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant, including the service, was wonderful. Above the entrance inside the restaurant, there was a framed piece of calligraphy that looked like a love letter praising the restaurant. It was quite long, but I read the whole thing. I thought it might have been written by a famous writer, but it turned out to be from an ordinary customer. Truly Nakano. Such a high level of culture! While rooted in this location, being loved by the locals, carefully making delicious soba and providing tasty dishes... I didn't speak directly to anyone, but that attitude comes across, and the strong mutual affection with the local community is palpable. It's a great restaurant. It's no wonder it's so popular.

The restaurant was crowded even on weekdays. The soba noodles came with three different condiments to enjoy, and the tempura had a generous portion that was delicious. In particular, the tempura featuring wheat gluten and garlic shoots was intriguing. The long line was justified by the deliciousness of the meal.

I ordered the tempura set! I enjoyed the crispy tempura made with fresh seasonal vegetables. It was most delicious when eaten with salt. The tempura made with locally grown Yanaka ginger was also refreshing and delightful! The soba noodles had a firm texture and I could taste the aroma of the buckwheat while enjoying it!

During Golden Week, reservations are required for dining at this restaurant, so I made a reservation and visited. It's great that you can reserve a popular restaurant for lunch. There is a time slot from 11:00 to 12:20, as indicated in advance. The menu for the day is placed on the table. The atmosphere is like a traditional soba restaurant in the downtown area, but it is also clean and each table is separated by curtains, so you can relax without worrying about your surroundings. The meal included a cold soba tea soup, cherry shrimp, simmered broad beans, grilled miso eel soba sushi, fruit tomato and plum wine jelly, agar agar with green laver and castella with Sansho pepper, grated nagaimo with sea urchin, nest soba, duck meatball and mugwort fu rice cracker, grilled duck soba, seasonal tempura (corn, burdock, scallop, white shrimp and bitter gourd tempura), and soba (you can choose from several types, I chose the spicy mixed soba). Everything was delicious, and I couldn't believe it was all included in the price. I didn't drink alcohol, so I apologize... I guess they assumed I would. I truly felt the goodness of Japanese cuisine and soba. I would love to try other types of soba as well.

We spent 13,750 yen for two people. We had bottled beer, various dishes like tofu, tempura, soba, and spring rolls. We ate too much because everything was delicious. The tempura at the end was so luxurious!

During the Azalea Festival at the Negishi Shrine, I visited this place. There was already a line before opening time. I ordered the "tenseiro" for ¥2000. The soba noodles had a good texture, and the dipping sauce was flavorful with bonito broth. The tempura included shrimp, mackerel, shiitake mushrooms, young ginger, and cherry tomatoes, among other things. It was served with tempura dipping sauce and salt. The portion size was quite large. Personally, I prefer soba noodles with a more rustic taste. The soba broth was slightly thick. The service from the staff was excellent.

I arrived just before 7:00 PM on a regular evening after making a reservation by phone, and was seated at a back table for two that had been secured for me. I prefer bukkake soba over seiro soba. I don't usually eat warm soba even in winter. Today, I had the bukkake soba with grated daikon and tempura shrimp. It was priced at 1450 yen. It was served in about 8 minutes and included tempura shrimp, fried eggplant, crab stick tempura, mizuna, shishito pepper, and seaweed, all topped with plenty of grated daikon. The tempura shrimp was hot and delicious. The soba portion was quite substantial. The dipping sauce was light and refreshing, and the soba broth was also light. The hostess provided excellent service. Thank you for the meal.
