A ramen shop found between Shinbashi and Yurakucho. It's not a traditional style ramen, but it's good in a normal way. Despite its location, the ramen is cheap and they have unusually long hours, making it popular for late-night dining. I ordered the firm noodles with a rich soup, which was quite flavorful with a salty soy sauce and dashi base that paired well with the rice.

Mild and creamy Yokohama-style ramen that I always end up finishing the soup too! You can customize the firmness of the noodles, amount of oil, and richness of the flavor to your liking, which is fabulous! This time, I finished the soup and got a free refill ticket! Look for the red sign along Sotobori Street in Ginza! This Yokohama-style ramen shop offers a rich pork bone broth with a creamy soup and flat noodles that go perfectly together. Some people find Yokohama-style ramen too heavy, but this shop offers a lighter soup with a good balance. Prices range from 680 yen for a regular ramen to 1030 yen for a Negi Chashu ramen. They also offer handmade gyoza for 160 yen (3 pieces). They are open from 11:00 to 4:00 and closed on irregular days.

The other day, when I was drinking sake with my colleagues, I decided to go to this ramen shop alone after seeing them off at the subway station. The shop is called "Gin Hachiten" and it is located in a prime location in Ginza, facing Nishi-Ginza Street (Sotobori Street). It's within walking distance from Ginza Station, but Shinbashi Station is closer. It's about a 3-minute walk from Shinbashi Station. I was surprised to see the very ramen-shop-like appearance in the building. I went inside and a cheerful female staff member approached me. There was a ticket machine at the entrance. I decided to try the Special Ramen in regular size for around 990 yen. The noodle portion is 160g. You can adjust the firmness of the noodles, the flavor, and the amount of oil. Rice is free even at night. The toppings were quite varied for the price, including seasoned egg, spinach, cabbage, seaweed, chashu, and braised pork. The noodles were medium-thick and flat, slightly on the firmer side. The soup was not too heavy, suitable for eating after drinking. The shop mainly has counter seats with some table seating. The staff, mostly male, were in charge of cooking, while the female staff took orders. The service was good. They are open until late, making it a good option for post-overtime meals. I found a good place to eat when I'm in need.

I visited on a regular night. It was after 9 PM and there were about 3 groups of customers. I had ramen. It was tonkotsu ramen, but it wasn't too heavy and was easy to eat. I also received a coupon, so I will visit again.

This is a ramen shop near Shinbashi Station that specializes in tonkotsu ramen. It was raining, but I decided to stop by on my way home. I ordered the ramen for 790 yen and a beer for 300 yen. The beer was a draft beer and tasted really good. The ramen I ordered was the mild Yokohama-style ramen called "Menya Warakame Abrasukuname." It had a gentle and mild flavor, which I really enjoyed. The shop was run by just one person, but the owner was busy yet managed to create a cozy atmosphere. I chose the default soy sauce flavor this time, but they also have miso and salt flavors, so I might come back to try those next time.

In hindsight, it's not the kind of place you just walk into. I don't mean to be harsh. It felt like ramen you would eat after drinking. I heard you get a bonus if you finish the soup, but I can't handle that. I'm at an age where it would make me sick. Too bad. Good luck to them.

When I went to Ginza at night, I stopped by to fill my stomach before entering the bar I was aiming for. Honestly, it was disappointing. The portion size was normal, but I couldn't finish it. Maybe the thick noodles didn't suit me, or maybe the ramen itself didn't suit me. I ordered a snack platter thinking it would be a light meal, but the ingredients that came on the ramen were just served separately on a plate... I wish they had mentioned that beforehand. It's understandable that there were no other customers despite it being a Friday night.

First visit. Entered before noon. The price at this location is great. It's a typical house-style ramen, but quite mild. It's a light tonkotsu soy sauce ramen. It was a bit lacking for me, but it might be good for those who prefer a milder taste. Still, it was delicious. However, the free white rice was unbelievably bad. It was so dry and clumpy, I wondered if it was left over from two days ago. As someone who believes white rice is essential for ramen, I was extremely disappointed. I would have been willing to pay extra for freshly cooked delicious white rice.

#GinHachi Store 790 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ramen 790 - The temperature is 15 degrees, a bit chilly. Let's have some ramen. I often passed by this store and was curious about it. The noodles are thick, yellow, straight, and short. The soup is rich and creamy. It's very comforting. It's rare to find ramen in the 700 yen range in Ginza. Thank you for the meal.

I came in expecting a rich pork bone broth, but the ramen was more of a soy sauce flavor. It was quite disappointing. It looked like a tonkotsu style ramen, but the seaweed was soggy and not enjoyable even when wrapped in rice. It might be tough because they seemed understaffed, but still... The noodles were on the smaller side, so maybe there are customers who prefer less rich tonkotsu broth.

We arrived at the fourth restaurant late at night. It's not even the end of the year, but we always end up here because they serve ramen until late in Ginza. My favorite is the negi ramen, a hearty house style ramen. Being able to eat this in Ginza late at night is just perfect.

It's already noon on Saturday and a quiet Ginza street is illuminated by a ramen sign. After drinking quite a bit, it's not the best idea...but I can't help but stop by this tonkotsu ramen shop. The noodles are from a house-style tonkotsu ramen with vinegar added, topped with delicious seaweed. The spinach is also tasty. Well, actually, everything is delicious. There aren't many ramen shops open in Ginza at this hour. I would prefer to have some chashu ramen, but a hearty tonkotsu ramen is not bad either. I might get drunk again soon.

Ramen for 790 yen. I've visited this shop a few times and I'm happy that they are open in Ginza even late at night. It was my first visit in a while, and I noticed that due to the recent price increase trend, the ramen here went up from 690 yen to 790 yen. Well, it can't be helped. However, this shop offers a nice service where you can get a free topping (egg) with a "refill ticket" when you finish your soup. The soup here is surprisingly mild, almost like a tonkotsu style, but with a unique flavor that is not too heavy on the back fat. The short, medium-thick noodles complement the soup well and are easy to eat even after drinking. The owner mentioned that he didn't have training in the traditional family ramen style, but he wants to preserve the taste that he inherited from the previous owner, without being bound by the typical family ramen flavor. It's a unique and gentle take on family ramen.

After 3 pm, when lunchtime is over and you're looking for a late lunch spot, it's hard to find options. However, I stumbled upon a great ramen place in a prime location. I decided to add some green onions as toppings. At first glance, the broth seemed thin, but it actually had a rich flavor. I asked for the noodles to be cooked firm, but next time I might go for the regular doneness as it may be even tastier. The soup was easy to finish, so I left feeling satisfied!

Today's quick dinner spot was a stroll around Shinbashi Station and Ginza area. Exiting from the north ticket gate of JR Shinbashi Station, turn right towards the Ginza exit. After exiting the Ginza exit, make a left turn and cross the signal in front of the Shinbashi Station Ginza exit on Sotobori Street towards Yurakucho. Keep walking straight on the 405 Nishiginza Street towards Yurakucho, then cross the traffic light at Do-bashi and continue straight. After a short walk, you will find "Yokohama Family Style Gin Hachiten" on your left. I entered the restaurant at 5:15 pm on a weekday. Upon entering, I first looked around the empty restaurant. I checked the menu at the ticket machine on the right side after entering the entrance. The menu included various ramen options, toppings, drinks, and other items. I chose the regular ramen, ordered and received my ticket. I found a seat at the counter closest to the kitchen and handed my ticket to the male staff. I requested the noodles to be firm and the rest to be regular. After a 5-minute wait, the ramen was served. The ramen had three seaweed sheets, chashu, and spinach. The soup was light and easy to drink, with a subtle pork bone flavor. I finished the soup and enjoyed the noodles, which were medium-thick and chewy. The chashu was thinly sliced and tender, while the spinach added a nice touch to the dish. I also enjoyed the seaweed by wrapping it around the noodles or letting it melt in the soup for a hint of seaweed flavor. After finishing the meal, I received a "roll-up ticket" as a gift. I left the restaurant thinking about using the gift vouchers before the end of January.

I heard that there is a ramen shop near the restaurant I often visit, so I decided to check it out for the first time. The interior of the shop is quite ordinary, more like a place where young people who have been drinking in the neighborhood come to eat ramen to finish off the night. I ordered the special ramen, which indeed feels lighter on the stomach compared to the regular tonkotsu ramen, but it is still flavorful and delicious. I also ordered gyoza and a chashu rice bowl, and ended up ordering too much food. The gyoza is large and the chashu rice bowl is quite filling. If I had to choose between this place and Soryu in the same area, I would recommend Soryu, but this place is also delicious.
