I stayed at Tokyu Inn Nihonbashi Zeimusho-mae during my two-night, three-day trip to Tokyo in August 2023. It was my first time staying at this hotel, which includes a complimentary breakfast. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning. On the second day, I had margarine bread, chocolate marble bread, chicken tomato stew, omelette, green beans and bell peppers, simmered hijiki seaweed, coffee, corn soup, and roasted green tea. It was nice to see different dishes compared to the previous day. Thank you for the meal.

I can't go to breakfast even if I'm dying of a hangover. There's a free breakfast venue on the first floor, right? I thought the variety was a bit lacking, but maybe not. Well, it's easy to write a food review, so maybe I should write it first. When you take a little bit of everything, the variety seems limited, so there's extra space on the plate. They ask if you want miso soup, and they just give it to you. There's a jar of rice next to it, but you have to put the rice in yourself. It's fine, but a bit annoying. But they smile kindly, which is nice. Breakfast included for 4550 yen. The rooms aren't too small, but still...

I stayed here for one night and had breakfast. It was a buffet style. They had onigiri, mixed rice, a hearty miso soup, a salad with plenty of fresh lettuce, and macaroni salad. There were quite a lot of carbohydrates, but it was delicious. It was a weekday in mid-February, and when I arrived at around 7 o'clock, I was the only one in the dining area (in front of the front desk). Later, a couple of business people arrived. At that time, the effects of the new coronavirus were starting to show, with restrictions on entry (or rather, exit from overseas). The staff who served breakfast were kind and told me, "Yesterday, there were a lot of inbound guests, but today there are just a few domestic guests." It was a small, quiet space with only NHK news playing in the background. It was much appreciated.

When I went to Tokyo, I stayed at Toyoko Inn Nihonbashi Tsukijishijo. It was my first time staying in this area, and it was very quiet. I slept well. Breakfast is free, which was convenient. I had as many rice balls as I wanted and also had miso soup. It was early, so there was plenty of seating and I could enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace. It was delicious. I would like to stay here again!

This hotel is located within a 10-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Ningyocho Station, Toei Subway Bakuro-yokoyama Station, Sobu Line Rapid Kodenmacho Station or Bakurocho Station. The area around Ningyocho Station is lively with many restaurants and bars. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to Tokyo Station. The breakfast is simple but satisfying, with options like rice balls, salad, meatballs, sausages, and bread. It was delicious.

(Prologue... Drinking party) This year (2018) we finished work a little early. A few days ago, I received a message from a friend who lives in the countryside saying they were coming to Tokyo. Unfortunately, I couldn't host them at my place due to various reasons, so we decided to meet up in an area where we used to work together and catch up. We chose this Toyoko Inn for our meeting spot. The nearest stations are Bakurocho on the Sobu Rapid Line, Bakuro Yokoyama on the Toei Shinjuku Line, and Higashi Nihonbashi on the Toei Asakusa Line. The most convenient exit is A-3 at Bakurocho Station. When we arrived at the hotel, we realized it was actually Toyoko Inn Meijiza-mae. It was a bit tricky to find in the middle of the business district, but compact and close to supermarkets and convenience stores. We met up at a nearby izakaya and had a good time catching up over drinks. (Onigiri, bread, mixed rice) The next morning, my friend who was heading back home and I arrived at the breakfast area around 7 am. Surprisingly, there were only a few people there. I chose a plate with onigiri, meatballs, macaroni salad, miso soup, and more. They also offered mixed rice and bread. I picked up some tea and coffee. The food was decent, and we enjoyed a peaceful meal without the usual crowds of tourists. (Conclusion... Slightly hard to find but a calm atmosphere) The location might be a bit tricky to find, but once you've been there, it's easy to locate. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant. There is a shuttle bus to Tokyo Station, which takes about 10 minutes to Yaesu Exit. The food was decent, but the peaceful dining experience was the highlight of our stay.
