The dining hall on the first floor of the single dormitory is open to the public. I visited around 11:30 on a weekday and there were plenty of seats available. The menu changes daily, offering set meals, rice bowls, and curry to choose from. The daily menu is posted on Facebook. The set meal includes a main dish, cold dish, and side dish. You can choose between white rice and brown rice, and serving rice and soup is self-service. You can have seconds. The food is not incredibly delicious, but it is decent. The soup is full of ingredients, and both the main and side dishes are generously served with vegetables, catering to the unbalanced diet of single individuals. The interior of the dining hall is clean and stylish, almost like a cafe. They do not accept cash. It seems they are open for both lunch and dinner, so I definitely plan to visit again.

On Monday at 8:30 am, I entered a restaurant with no other customers and had their Select Breakfast set! You can choose 3 items from 6 options, and I chose the onsen egg, sausage, and thickly cooked egg. While eating, I realized I was double-egging it, haha. The rice was shiny and chewy, and the miso soup was red miso with fried tofu, mushrooms (shiitake, enoki, etc.), and corn. You can have unlimited refills of both. The miso soup with lots of corn was really delicious, maybe the first time I've had it! Having plenty of mushrooms is great for gut health. After the meal, I ordered coffee, and the owner mentioned that hot coffee can be refilled for free, so it's better to order it first next time. The coffee was warm and comforting. It seemed like they used the R.O.STAR blend from Toyosu. Thanks for the meal!

Exit 7 of Tsukishima Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, walk through the main passage, Tsukishima Monja Street (Tsukishima Nishi-nakadori) towards Kachidoki, from Ichiban Street to Yonban Street, and then continue straight ahead, turning right at the T-junction just before Nishinakabashi, and a short walk to the right, you will find the "Tsukishima Shokudo" where I visited today. At the order counter, I checked the menu. The menu includes: - Breakfast Menu - Select Morning Set (Choose 3 items from below) 400 yen - Seasoned seaweed - Thick grilled egg - Natto - Sausage - Onsen tamago - Mentaiko - Seafood Curry (Limited to today) - Other items - Rice ball 150 yen - Sandwich 150 yen - French toast 150 yen - Onsen tamago 50 yen - Natto 60 yen - Thick grilled egg 100 yen - Kimchi 100 yen - Mini salad 100 yen - Coffee 100 yen. I was informed by a female staff member that they do not accept cash. To order a set meal, you need to fill out a form next to the order counter by selecting three items. I chose "Natto," "Onsen tamago," and "Mentaiko" and handed the form to the female staff. After paying with a transportation card, the female staff kindly informed me that I could get refills for rice and miso soup. After completing the payment, I filled a cup of water at the self-service station and found a seat to wait. After a minute, my "Select Morning Set" was ready, so I went to pick it up at the counter. The set included "Natto," "Onsen tamago," "Mentaiko," rice, and miso soup. I enjoyed eating the Mentaiko with rice, mixing the natto with rice, and adding the onsen tamago on top. The miso soup was also delicious with plenty of ingredients. I finished my meal by drinking the miso soup. Next time, I plan to try the Seafood Curry. Today, I enjoyed the Select Morning Set for 400 yen. It was a satisfying meal for Q-chan. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived around 12:20 and it was almost full. They had hand sanitizers, transparent panels between tables, disposable gloves for taking food, so I felt not only satisfied with the delicious food but also reassured.

This place used to be a bowling alley, but it was turned into a corporate housing for singles about 6 years ago. Many major companies have contracts here. The first floor was empty for a while, but it has now become the Tsukishima Shokudo (Tsukishima Diner). It's a quiet area with few people passing by. I spotted a sign for daily curry lunch specials and couldn't resist parking my bike. The curry options were pork and vegetable (A) or fried squid (B) for 850 yen, which is quite reasonable. I opted for eat-in, and was told to serve the rice in the middle myself. You can choose between mixed grain or white rice. The soup is also self-serve, and you can have refills of both the soup and rice. The tray also comes with a salad. Once you have your curry poured over the rice, you can take a seat. The place is quiet, spacious, clean, and has large windows. You can see the grassy terrace, giving it a hotel-like feel. The curry tasted like something you would have at home. Just a heads up, they don't accept cash here, so be aware of that.

The restaurant is stylish and calm, making it easy to go alone and I keep coming back. They offer meat dishes, fish dishes, and half & half options, and you can add natto, eggs, kimchi, etc., which is appealing. Personally, I wish the rice was a little softer, but the cost performance is great and I really like it. Looking forward to my next visit!

The food was delicious, with a mix of authentic and creative dishes. It could be a good dining option for residents of the neighboring apartment building.
