"Crunchy-winged Dalian-style Dumplings (759 yen/7 pieces)"
The photo shows 8 pieces. These are the famous "Dalian-style Dumplings". The skins are made from carefully selected domestic wheat, with the moisture content adjusted depending on the temperature. The skins made on the day are used up within the day, showing the uncompromising attitude towards freshness. The filling contains pork from Kagoshima Prefecture and a small amount of chives, without using garlic intentionally. Despite that, it has a strong umami flavor, thanks to the carefully selected ingredients. It's satisfying to eat a lot without worrying the next day. It's recommended to eat them with vinegar and pepper.

"Shrimp and Coriander Shrimp Miso Fried Rice (1,199 yen)"
The photo shows a portion for two. I chose this item from the fried rice menu. The abundant shrimp and coriander on top give an ethnic flavor to the fried rice. The moment it was brought to the table, the pleasant aroma filled the air. However, it was slightly moist, and a bit more crispy texture would have been better. Also, the seasoning lacked impact. It could have been more exotic in flavor.

"Spicy Sichuan Mapo Tofu (1,298 yen)"
This Mapo Tofu looked very spicy when served hot. It's said to use plenty of Sichuan spices, but it also contains a good amount of oil and nuts, making the spiciness surprisingly mild. The dish had many ingredients and the authentic taste of Mapo Tofu. Personally, I would have preferred it to be spicier.

"Cilantro Water Dumplings (638 yen/5 pieces)"
The photo shows 8 pieces of water dumplings. I ordered the water dumplings with cilantro. The vivid green water dumplings have a pleasant cilantro aroma that spreads as soon as you put them in your mouth. Although the fried dumplings are delicious, I personally prefer the water dumplings at this restaurant.

"Tender Char Siu (979 yen)"
This neatly arranged Char Siu is indeed very tender, as the menu name suggests, easily cut with chopsticks. It has a slightly sweet, salty flavor that is addictive.

"Melt-in-your-mouth Custard Sesame Dumplings (693 yen/2 pieces)"
For dessert, I tried these unique sesame dumplings. Inside the crispy skin is a creamy custard, giving it a Western dessert-like feel. It feels a bit lighter than the usual red bean paste dumplings, making it a good choice when you want to eat dumplings but don't have much room left in your stomach.
[Summary]
Located in the B1 floor of the commercial facility "Nijubashi Square," directly connected to Nijubashi-mae Station, and also accessible from the Otemachi and Hibiya areas, is the "Dalian Dumpling Base DALIAN Nijubashi Square" restaurant. "Dalian Dumpling Base DALIAN" is a chain restaurant with locations in Roppongi, Azabu-Juban, Shibuya, Yokohama, and Fukuoka. I visited on a weekday at 7:30 pm with a reservation. The restaurant had only about two groups at the time, not too crowded, but it tends to get busier as the night goes on due to its direct connection to office buildings. Reservations are especially necessary on Fridays. While there was nothing particularly outstanding, there were no negatives either. If you're looking for a safe option to enjoy Chinese cuisine, this place is worth considering.
