I visited during lunchtime and had the meat juice pan-fried dumplings lunch set for 750 yen. The dumplings were 438 yen. The staff recommended eating the pan-fried dumplings as they are already seasoned. The staff's service was good, so I also ordered a dessert. The dumplings were indeed firm and rich, just as described, and I enjoyed them.

I visited this place for the first time after taking a morning bath. I didn't know it, but it seems to be a chain with over 120 stores nationwide, and on Saturdays they are open all day from noon. Lucky, I could relax ♫ (Closed during break time on weekdays) They told me "Please start with nothing!" and the gyoza had a chewy skin that burst with a lot of meat juice when bitten into! Surprisingly light, but it was delicious. The onion slices and cod roe salad were also voluminous, and despite being a gyoza shop, there is a wide variety of snacks, making it a good place to drink from noon ♫ Another great thing was the staff's service. Quick orders, energetic service, and even cleaning the tables and menus when not serving. It's no wonder the place has a clean, pleasant atmosphere. There are places that don't provide this level of service in gyoza shops. One thing to note is that while the service is good, the dishes are not that cheap and they don't accept card payments, so that could be improved. However, being able to enjoy a nice drink during the day is the best ♫ I entered a good place. Thank you for the meal!

It's a revisit on a Saturday afternoon. The interior of the restaurant is spacious and clean, making it a place that even women would feel comfortable entering. Personally, I dislike the smell of cigarettes and sitting near the restroom, but this place has both the restroom and smoking area on the second floor, which is very convenient. I ordered the oil-splashed chicken and it arrived in about 5 minutes. Unexpectedly, the hot spring egg was served in a small dish. When I asked the staff, they said you can eat it like a raw egg over rice or separately. I chose to eat it over rice and it was really delicious. The oil-splashed chicken seemed to be cut into small pieces before frying. I'm not sure of the intention behind this, but it seemed to affect the glossy and juicy texture of the chicken. A bit disappointing. Maybe this place also functions as an izakaya in the evening? The customer service here is amazing! They are energetic, polite, and even see you off outside the restaurant. It's rare to see such great service at a regular meal restaurant. I feel like coming back again, this time for the dumplings. Thank you for the meal!

I visited a dumpling izakaya called "Nikujiru Gyoza no Dandadan Uguisudani Branch" around 5 pm on a certain day in January 2023. It is located about a 2-3 minute walk from Uguisudani Station. The spacious restaurant had no other customers when I arrived. I sat alone at a table and was asked if I wanted to order dumplings first, so I requested a serving for one person. For my first drink, I chose a "Premium Malt" for ¥548. It was served in a nice-sized glass and I enjoyed the taste of the beer. I also ordered a Warm Egg and Mozuku dish for ¥427 as a quick appetizer. The mozuku with grated ginger had a good texture and flavor, especially when mixed with the egg yolk and vinegar. I then tried the Meat Juice Pan-Fried Dumplings, 6 pieces for ¥526. These dumplings were juicy with a chewy skin, best enjoyed with vinegar and soy sauce. I switched to a "Dandadan Highball" for ¥537, which was surprisingly delicious when paired with the dumplings. Next, I tried the Water Dumplings, 5 pieces for ¥548, which were served with soup and had a firm skin and sweet filling. The addition of green onions in the soup added a nice touch. Overall, I had a satisfying experience at "Nikujiru Gyoza no Dandadan," where even solo diners can enjoy a variety of refined menu options. The fact that it wasn't too crowded was also a plus for customers at the Uguisudani branch.

I used it for lunch. Although I was only eating during the day with my friends, I didn't feel like eating a lot of carbohydrates, so I ordered a single item while drinking a cup. The grilled dumplings, boiled dumplings, chicken wings dumplings, my mapo tofu, and coriander salad were all delicious. I also ordered drinks like highball with a Premol beer foam on top, and a JJ made with jasmine shochu mixed with homemade jasmine. The place was surprisingly spacious, with a second floor as well. I plan to go back at night next time.

Today, I visited this restaurant within walking distance from my home as it just opened. I also went to the Komagome branch before, and I always think that the atmosphere here is fantastic. This is how an izakaya should be - lively and energetic. It really gets you in the mood and makes the drinks go down smoothly. Having worked in the food industry myself, I truly appreciate the effort put into creating such a vibrant atmosphere. The food is delicious too. Since this izakaya specializes in gyoza, I highly recommend trying their gyoza. The chewy skin provides a satisfying texture, and the filling is full of flavor and juices. Unlike gyoza with thick skins that can be unappetizing, the ones here have a good balance. Overall, all the dishes were incredibly satisfying! Plus, it's close to home, so I'll definitely be coming back!

The inside of the restaurant is newly opened and very clean. The dumplings and beer were delicious. The dumplings had juicy fillings. The beer had a nice foam, living up to its name "divine foam". The staff were a bit too lively despite the pandemic, which was a bit concerning. I don't mind the staff chatting without masks more than customers doing the same. It's normal for izakayas, but it would be better if the staff wore masks. It would also be appreciated if they could implement tablet ordering.

The takeout menu is extensive and much appreciated! Although I was curious about the noodle menu at the dumpling shop, this time I only purchased dumplings.
Inside the complimentary tote bag, there was a guide on how to make delicious pan-fried and boiled dumplings. (So helpful!!)
【Tasting】
- Frozen raw dumplings 10 pieces: 638 yen (tax included)
When measured, it weighed 276g including the container. It was my first time encountering this type of dumpling, with a plump shape and a grainy texture that seemed like wheat. I was excited to see what it would taste like. Cooking dumplings well is quite challenging for me, but with the clear guide and thick skin, I managed to cook them perfectly! Both my husband and I don't usually like dumplings with thick skin, but these dumplings had a generous meat filling and a strong flavor, so the chewy thick skin worked well and was delicious. The dumplings were juicy as the name suggests, so be careful of the juice spilling out! It had a similar deliciousness to xiaolongbao. Personally, I found them tasty even without sauce, but I especially enjoyed them with vinegar and coarse ground pepper!
I was surprised by the variety of the menu as I thought it was a dumpling specialty shop! I hope to try professionally cooked dumplings in the restaurant someday.
