I was recommended a restaurant that serves dishes that go well with wine, and I visited it as the second stop. The conversation was lively, and the wine, along with other dishes that were not photographed, were all carefully prepared and indeed complemented the wine. Located on the 1st floor of Ark Hills South Tower in Roppongi 1-chome, this is a Spanish restaurant run by owner Mr. Hasegawa, the second branch of Braseleria Hasegawa. Serving dishes such as paella, fideua, plancha, and stews, they offer lunch sets on weekdays (Tue-Fri) and transform into a cafe & bar in the afternoon and evening for wine pairing. Opened in April 2022, the restaurant is conveniently located just 1 minute from Roppongi 1-chome Station North Exit (directly connected). The entrance is through the escalator on the basement 1st floor, and the small glass-fronted restaurant is tucked away in the back. (Previously occupied by the Spanish restaurant Fermincho Boca.) It's a 5-minute walk from Tameike-Sanno Station Exit 13. During a lunch visit, the atmosphere was reminiscent of a Spanish bar, with a counter displaying a whole leg of ham. The seating consists of counter seats and two 4-person tables, creating a cozy space managed by Mr. Hasegawa and two staff members. The service was friendly and pleasant. The lunch menu includes: - Paella set: seafood paella (¥1,100), meat or bean paella (¥1,300) - Plancha (grilled on an iron plate) set (¥1,200~), weekly stew special (¥1,300) - Course options: seafood fideua course (¥1,900), customizable main dish and paella course (¥2,800) Due to Mr. Hasegawa personally preparing each dish, orders may take some time. Opting for the seafood paella set (¥1,100), the salad was fresh and satisfying, followed by a generously topped paella with octopus, shrimp, mussels, and red bell pepper. The flavors were exceptional, making the wait worthwhile. Despite an unexpected wait time, the owner apologized for the delay upon departure. The overall experience was enjoyable and the paella was delicious, making it a place worth revisiting for a leisurely evening with wine and tapas.

Located in Roppongi 1-chome, the Spanish restaurant "cafe-vino-tapas LA TAVERNA HASEGAWA" is situated on the 1st floor of Ark Hills South Tower. It offers a cozy atmosphere and a variety of Spanish dishes, perfect for lunch, coffee breaks, dinner, wine, and late-night snacks. Their specialty is the Catalonian dish "Fideuà" made with short pasta, along with teppanyaki and stewed dishes. I ordered the "Flan" and iced coffee for dessert. The square flan was surrounded by plenty of caramel sauce, topped with nuts and dried coconut, enhancing the sweetness of the firm flan. For the drink, I had the hand-drip coffee made with Kenyan beans, providing a balanced acidity and easy-to-drink flavor. The coffee was from the specialty coffee shop "Ordinary Coffee Roaster" in Suginakawashi, using the high-performance roaster "Aillio Bullet R1". The combination of flan and coffee was excellent. Despite being a small shop, every Spanish dish on the menu was charming. I also found out from their Instagram that they have a sister shop in Fukuoka. The owner chef, who seemed like a part-timer, greeted me with a smile, showing that he is actually the chef. He must be popular among the businessmen in this building.

The restaurant in Tokyo is operated by Hasegawa and a female partner. This place used to be a Spanish restaurant before. I have been here before. The interior is similar to the previous restaurant. I was seated at the counter. I ordered the seafood paella for 1100 yen from the 7 lunch menu options. The lunch comes with a salad. The salad arrived promptly after ordering. The salad was generous and luxurious, with tuna, olives, asparagus, carrots, and more. It was not a simple salad, but rather well-made. The dressing had a nice tangy flavor. The paella seemed to be cooked in a large pot and served on a plate. It was as described in the menu. The paella had a rich and complex flavor, with a depth of seasoning. It was delicious. It would have been nice if the lemon for flavor variation was a bit larger. The lunch is available until 4 pm, which is convenient. I am interested in trying other lunch options. I will definitely visit again.

I visited this restaurant that I had been curious about for a while, called Sushi Saito. When I asked if it was okay to just have drinks, they kindly accepted. The staff was friendly and it was a pleasant dining experience. My friend who was with me also said, "Let's come back and take our time next time."

I visited for lunch for the first time, but it has a nice wine bar atmosphere at night~ I sat at the counter seat. There were only two groups including me during the weekday lunch time. I had the fish platter (course) salad, assorted appetizers (the cod croquette was hot and delicious!, pork sauté, pickled carrots), salt-grilled sea bream. The skin was crispy and the white meat was light and delicious, and the potatoes were also tasty. I felt like having Cava or white wine haha I want to go at night next time.

Daily stew for 1,300 yen. This is a restaurant near the office that I visited for the first time. I think there was a different restaurant here before. I was looking for a place to have lunch, but couldn't find anything special, so I was thinking of buying a bento and eating it. However, I stumbled upon this place. It seems like a place to enjoy with alcohol in the evening. The staff told me about a campaign at Ark Hills Music Walk, and I was able to get a 200 yen discount coupon by scanning the QR code and tapping on the screen. After a bit of a wait, I was served a salad followed by pork in tomato stew. I received three slices of bread, but I wish I had gotten more. It was delicious, but the portion felt a bit small for a man. With the discount, the total came to 1,100 yen at the register. Next time, I'll go for something more filling like rice dishes.
