I ordered the course with 36 items (18 types of meat, 17 sides, and a daily special). If you choose the great value course, you can also order from the Anan course menu. The Anan course includes one piece of young kalbi, beef liver, thinly sliced salted kalbi, spinach namul, Caesar salad, potato salad, garlic buttered potatoes, buttered enoki mushrooms, onion, white leek, okra, young corn, pumpkin, and shiitake mushrooms.

This is Yasuyasu near Yoyogi Station. The restaurant is not right in front of the station, but along the road leading to Yamano Beauty College. It is located underground, but the familiar sign is easy to spot. The interior of the restaurant is typical of Yasuyasu, with mainly booth seating surrounded by wooden boards, and there are also tatami seating at the back. The prices have been slightly raised, with the popular Yasuyasu Kalbi and Young Kalbi now priced at 319 yen and 297 yen respectively. We tried the following dishes: - Today's Red Tag Mix (792 yen): A generous platter of assorted meat weighing around 320g, with only miso sauce for seasoning. The contents are chef's choice, but it's a great deal. - Beef Tongue Salt x Yagen Cartilage Combo (660 yen): A new combo that includes the expensive beef tongue salt along with yagen cartilage. A good option for those hesitant to order a full portion of beef tongue. - Yasuyasu Kalbi (319 yen): Despite the price increase, this dish is still delicious with better meat quality. - Young Kalbi (297 yen): A signature dish at Yasuyasu, thinly sliced pork belly with a good amount of fat. Despite the price increase, it's still a popular choice. - Chicken Seseri Salt (319 yen): Frozen but tasty, a good option when you want a break from beef. - Garlic Sesame Oil (319 yen) - Chorogi Cabbage (319 yen): A great option for those looking for a vegetable side dish with generous portions. - Sangchu (209 yen): A budget-friendly option for lettuce that pairs well with the meat. - Asahi Super Dry (319 yen): A cheap option for drinks, served in a slim glass. - Highball (275 yen): With the price increase of Super Dry, the Highball has become a more popular choice, still reasonably priced. Overall, despite the slight increase in prices, the quality of the meat is satisfying when grilled over charcoal. Yasuyasu is a perfect choice for casual dining.

I felt like having yakiniku so I entered the restaurant alone. It was like a semi-private room and they had tablet ordering, so I didn't feel embarrassed. I ordered beef tongue and beer repeatedly, and the Chorogi salad was served quickly. I was quite satisfied. When I have yakiniku at home, there's no grill and it can get smelly, so I thought it was nice and casual here. Yakiniku alone is less crowded than Yakiniku Like, and it was good enough for me.

This is a budget-friendly yakiniku restaurant that stays open until late at night. Because it's a chain, the quality is good and the prices are incredibly cheap. The recommended dish is the "An An Kalbi" which you can grill nicely on the shichirin. The hormone is also only 290 yen, which is unbelievable. It's delicious. Of course, anyone who comes to this place and says "the meat is bad" doesn't deserve to be here. The atmosphere at AnAn is lively, with many vocational school and prep school students. The location is close to Yoyogi, where there are various educational institutions. When I visited the restaurant after midnight, it was filled with young people. I ordered a draft beer and noticed that the menu was simple and straightforward. The meat portions, prices, and taste were all good. AnAn is truly wonderful. As of September 2010, you can use a coupon on Gurunavi for a 500 yen discount or a free dish. After eating and drinking, the total bill for two people was just over 6000 yen, which is amazing. The staff may be Chinese, and the meat may not be perfect, but I still love AnAn. My favorite is the quiet late-night atmosphere at the Shinjuku Gyoen branch. This particular branch may not be the most comfortable due to the noisy student crowd, but it's okay late at night when there are no other customers.

You can also get a large serving of rice at a low cost. There were no Japanese staff, but that's common in many places in Tokyo nowadays. The seating is mainly for 3-4 people, which suits me fine as I don't usually go to yakiniku restaurants with a large group. The atmosphere is a bit noisy due to the young crowd, so it might feel crowded during peak hours. In terms of value for money, it's very good. I would choose AnAn over other similar restaurants any day. The alcohol is average, but better than some izakayas I've been to. Overall, "This chain restaurant may not be for everyone, so keep that in mind."

There's also one near my house, but this time we had a toast at the Yoyogi branch. The 210 yen beer is so appreciated!! As a beer lover, I can have 4 beers for less than 1000 yen. We passed the time at a nearby Saizeriya with a 370 yen glass of red wine each. It's cheap, only 100 yen per person, until 5 o'clock. Then, we headed to Yasuya. I know the taste of the meat, so I just focused on drinking. The others went for meat, meat, meat, while I went for beer, beer, beer. We drank and ate a lot, spending around 6000 yen for 4 people.
