While browsing a delivery site, I came across a new restaurant in Nogata that I hadn't seen before. I wondered if it was one of those trendy ghost restaurants since the address seemed to be a room in an apartment building. But when I visited, the restaurant was actually there! They offered dine-in service, so I decided to try their rice noodles with tomato and pickled mustard greens. I wasn't very familiar with rice noodles, and I had only tried them once before in Toranomon, so my knowledge was limited. I also ordered a chicken dish called "Zi Pai" in a black pepper flavor. I paid in advance using PayPay and noticed that the restaurant's name was "Mitsucha," which I recognized as a tapioca shop that used to be in Kita-guchi. I had never been there before as I'm not a fan of tapioca, but it was interesting to see it here. They also had tapioca menu items available, which was convenient for those who enjoy them. The Zi Pai dish was quite large, and I wasn't sure how to eat it at first, but it was already cut into manageable pieces. It had a crunchy texture and a savory taste. The black pepper flavor wasn't too strong, so I thought a spicier option might have been better. It filled me up quickly, and I was worried if I could eat the noodles that I ordered. The rice noodles were thin and slippery, similar to Inaniwa udon noodles. They were easy to eat and had a unique texture. The pickled mustard greens had a tangy and salty flavor, while the tomato sauce was surprisingly spicy. It was spicier than I expected, but I enjoyed it as I like spicy food. However, my stomach was already full from the Zi Pai, so I couldn't finish the noodles, which was a shame. The staff recommended their egg tart to another customer, and I overheard it, so I might try it next time. Due to the current situation, I might opt for delivery next time.
