The jumbo-sized beer mugs are a great deal, and there are various snacks available. For those who enjoy draft beer, the Nodogoshi Nama (large) is a really good deal♪ Lately, after drinking a few beers, I often indulge in the easy-to-drink Tomato Shochu. It's really good (＞∀＜)! I was able to take a break for the first time in a while, and it was warm, so I went to Kinshicho. I was feeling hungry, so I was tempted by the large portions at this restaurant. First, I had a draft beer and Chiba Chansara salad, which was mixed with mayonnaise and had a slight spiciness - delicious. I quickly drank it down and then had a Mega Chu-hi, which was heavy for someone like me. Then, the salted beef tongue and pork brain arrived. This was delicious. I also ordered chicken wings, miso stir-fried tripe, and the homemade potato salad that was recommended to me - surprisingly tasty for the price. Next up was the Mega Hoppy, which really hit the spot. For craftsmen like me, this kind of drink is the best. I was completely satisfied and stumbled my way home. Thank you for the meal. I went to Kinshicho, which has an off-track betting parlor, in the morning. On days like this, I always come to this restaurant. Even though I've been here many times, this is the first time I'm writing a review. The jumbo chicken cutlet with tartar sauce, as seen in the photo, costs only 480 yen. A large draft beer is around 380 yen. What a great cost performance at this place. Since I was alone, I filled up with this and a highball.

We used it for the third time‼️ The baka-jockeys, fried chicken, and potatoes were all served in large portions at Chibachan. Located about 5 minutes from Kinshicho South Exit, on the 2nd and 3rd floors of a building with various izakayas. It was lively, with many customers inside. The tables were close together, and there were only thin partitions between them, so conversations were easily heard. Being alone, I couldn't enjoy the food much as I was overwhelmed by the noise around me. The food was okay, and the cost performance was good. However, I left the restaurant early because I felt surrounded by the noise.

Due to the impact of the coronavirus, it has been a year since my last visit. On weekends when horse racing is held, the place opens at 9:00 (currently opens at 11:00 due to the impact of the coronavirus) and has become a place of relaxation for horse racing fans (horse racing broadcasts are always playing). I make sure to wear a mask whenever ordering or leaving my seat, and even when seated, except when eating or drinking. While it is bustling, it still feels quieter compared to before the coronavirus. Also, I noticed that the paper forms for off-track betting that used to be available are no longer there - perhaps due to the popularity of online betting. But since you can now place bets using your smartphone while seated, there is no need to leave the store to buy tickets, right? The giant portion of fried octopus legs I always order is the best! The Black Label draft beer goes well with it. The baby scallop buttery grilled dish I tried for the first time and the Chiba-style fried noodles were delicious as well. P.S. There is nothing good about the spread of the coronavirus or war, and I hope they end soon.

The restaurant is open only on weekends from 9 am, with sports newspapers available for free at the entrance. They have horse racing broadcasts inside and provide betting slips, but you have to buy the tickets at the nearby WINS off-track betting facility. The famous dish "活アジ刺身" was not available here, unlike at the Omiya branch. However, they still offer the "Baka Menu" which is a great deal with tasty food and drinks. The fried squid legs were delicious and a good value. The fried chicken was also tasty, even better than the Omiya branch in my opinion. The atmosphere is quieter here compared to Omiya, with many horse racing enthusiasts around. The prices are affordable, the portions are generous, and the staff is attentive and efficient. Since we visited, I wanted to try the "baka" series at least once, so I ordered the "Oolong Highball" in the baka size. The jumbo-sized glass was about 2-3 times the normal size, and it was impressive. The famous "spicy simmered pork" dish was average. I recommend going with at least 2 people if you want to take on the challenge.

Used for drinking in Kinshicho. It can accommodate a relatively large number of people. The interior is somewhat cluttered, and the place might be geared towards younger people. However, the drinks are cheap, and the advertised fried chicken is unbelievably good value. Overall, I think it's a good izakaya to save money.

Lunch on February 17, 2019 (Sunday)❗️☺️ Today, the Horii family visited Kinshicho❗️ While casually watching YouTube, I came across a video about a restaurant known for its "ridiculously large portions". They had a dish called the "ridiculously large serving" where you get 60 pieces of fried chicken… I was like, "What is that?!" and got really excited. So, we all agreed to go check it out. The restaurant is located in Kinshicho and opens at 9 am on weekends. We burned some calories at the gym in the morning, parked at a nearby coin parking lot, and arrived at 11 am. The second floor was full, but luckily the third floor was opening soon, so we were the first ones there. The place was filled with horse racing fans, probably because there is a horse racing betting facility nearby. The atmosphere was quite smoky due to the high smoking rate among the fans. We were seated at a cozy table on the third floor, where we could watch horse races on the monitors placed all around. The menu had items labeled as "Ridiculous" or "Ridiculously large", like the "ridiculously large serving" of fried chicken with 60 pieces. The fried chicken came with two types of seasoning, soy sauce and spicy sauce, which could be divided into halves. We ordered the "Ridiculously large serving" of fried chicken (1382 yen) and the "Ridiculously large serving" of Chiba-chan yakisoba (about 10 servings) (1079 yen). For drinks, we ordered a jug of green tea, cola, and Calpis (each 540 yen). After a 20-minute wait, the fried chicken arrived. It was delicious and crispy, and we enjoyed it a lot. The portion was huge, with a layer of fried noodles underneath. We couldn't finish it all, but we didn't want to spoil our appetite for the yakisoba. After a 15-minute wait, the yakisoba finally arrived. It was rich and flavorful, with plenty of pork. We enjoyed it with some mayo for a flavor boost. We struggled but managed to finish it all. They also had ridiculous portions of fried potatoes, edamame, and even a "ridiculously large" French-style milk pudding. We might come back to try those someday. I am simply amazed. My favorite barley shochu bottle keep is a one-liter bottle for less than 3000 yen. Of course I will order it without hesitation. It was the day of the Arima Kinen, so the restaurant was almost full and we stayed there from the morning. By the time we left, the place was packed with customers. It seemed like everyone was a regular customer or a horse racing enthusiast. They were all getting excited watching the horse racing broadcast. I want to go back again. It's such a great deal with a one-liter bottle (laughs). It's a really good restaurant. ★

On weekends during the day, there is a restaurant in Kinshicho called Chibachan where they serve a large portion of stupidly delicious fried chicken that is difficult for 6 people to finish. It costs just a little over 1200 yen and you can drink and eat to your heart's content for 12000 yen with 6 people. The fried chicken has a strong garlic flavor which is quite tasty. I was so focused on devouring the fried chicken that I forgot to take pictures of anything else. The restaurant broadcasts horse racing, so there were many customers who seemed to be interested in that.

I met up with my girlfriend and went for a revenge on the previous "Crazy Huge Chicken Karaage" challenge, haha. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was only one group waiting and the staff asked us to wait for about 10 minutes. Shortly after, we were called in and seated. I confidently ordered the Crazy Huge Chicken Karaage (1280 yen). The staff warned us that it was about 60 pieces of chicken, but I said I could handle it with a smirk, haha. After about 20 minutes, a huge pile of karaage appeared on our table! There were two flavors, spicy soy sauce and regular soy sauce, but my girlfriend doesn't like spicy food so we went with the regular soy sauce. I took a bite and it seemed sweeter than before... maybe it's just my imagination! It kind of reminded me of a sweet and sour chicken dish. It was really delicious, but we couldn't finish it... By the time we had eaten about half, we were completely defeated, haha. We told the staff we couldn't finish it and they kindly offered to pack it for us to take home. We packed up the leftover karaage and headed home. Even though we couldn't finish it this time, thank you for the delicious karaage every time. Thank you for the meal! Next time, we'll bring more people and take on the challenge again!

Kinshicho was my first time, but I thought it was really nice. I went there on a Sunday afternoon looking for places to drink, and it didn't disappoint. It was interesting to see that many food and drink establishments in this area have horse racing broadcasts playing outside to attract customers. I'm not into gambling or horse racing, but I don't mind the atmosphere of the places where horse racing enthusiasts gather. There were plenty of places to drink, and I was drawn to "Chiba-chan" with its flashy and eye-catching exterior. There were also hardcore places where serious horse racing fans seemed to hang out, but as a beginner in Kinshicho, "Chiba-chan" seemed just right for me. While sipping on draft beer and looking at the menu, I noticed that the list of dishes for alcohol pairings was designed like a horse racing program, which was amusing. And the prices were surprisingly cheap. Stewed dish for 190 yen, Kanpachi for 290 yen (excluding tax), is this the standard in Kinshicho? It's cheap, but not cheaply made, it's quite decent. I don't usually drink Hoppy, but it seemed fitting here. Coming from Kyushu, Hoppy isn't something I'm familiar with, it's more like a "tourist specialty" to me. But I felt that Kinshicho is a good place to drink Hoppy. It has a certain atmosphere, reminiscent of Asakusa Rokku from about ten years ago before it was renovated. Kinshicho is great, I like it.

We went out with our company members and had fried chicken, edamame, and daikon salad with drinks. The menu was all about large portions, giving us a university drinking party vibe. The amount of food was so much that it made us laugh. Of course, it was delicious, but also a fun and recommended place to visit.

I went to Chiba Chan Kinshicho for two months in a row with my friends for a year-end party. Everything was served in large portions, which really got us excited.

The "Karaage Oobaka Mori" is a huge portion with about 60 pieces, and it's so delicious that you can't help but keep eating! The staff are funny, the food is tasty, and it's cheap. Best cost performance!!!

We used the restaurant with around 50 people. We had seats with chairs and tables. Compared to other izakayas, it was nice that drinks were served in glasses and there were many course options. The amount of food was more than enough (lol). I would like to use this restaurant again.

The "Baka Mori Course" for 3000 yen is seriously amazing! If you want to eat a lot and really fill up, this is the perfect place. It's a crazy amount of food - fried chicken, salad, edamame - you won't even be able to see the person sitting in front of you! Personally, I recommend the fried chicken with the delicious sauce.
