Newly opened stylish izakaya in Shinjuku, perfect for a date. This place is a hidden gem, with high-quality food and a trendy atmosphere. The specialty Truffle TKG is a must-try, and the Poteto Salad is visually stunning and delicious. The Beef Tongue is incredibly tasty, and the Mackerel Sushi is expertly made. The staff is friendly, and overall, this is a high-quality restaurant worth visiting. Don't miss out on the experience!

Located about a 5-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, this cozy izakaya was a place I had been looking forward to visiting for a long time. I had made a reservation for this visit, and it seemed like only those with reservations were allowed in on the day, so booking in advance is a must if you want to make sure you get a table! The restaurant operates in three time slots: 16:00-18:15, 18:15-20:30, and 20:30 onwards, so be mindful of the timing. The items I ordered were: - Grape Beer 780 yen - White Peach Jasmine Tea 500 yen - Square Highball 550 yen - Firewood Evening Tea 400 yen - Otoshi (Clam and Prosciutto with Shirasu Oroshi) 500 yen - Club's Potato Salad (with Iburi Gakko) 680 yen - Unzen Ham Cutlet (2 pieces) 700 yen - Grilled Zucchini with Cheese 700 yen - Negi Shio Wagyu Yukke 1480 yen - Persimmon Butter (2 pieces) 600 yen - Thick-cut Beef Tongue 1480 yen - Chicken Tsukune Miso Soup 800 yen - Red Miso Soup 250 yen The grape beer here was something I tried for the first time, and it tasted like grape juice, very easy to drink and delicious beer! I was impressed! Also, you get to choose your favorite design for the chopstick rest at the beginning, which was a nice touch! The Club's Potato Salad with Iburi Gakko topping was fantastic, with the crispy texture of Iburi Gakko and the hot, fluffy potato salad being incredibly delicious! The purple shiso flowers sprinkled on top added a wonderful aroma and flavor. The Negi Shio Wagyu Yukke had a sesame oil flavor and a delightful scent when it was brought to the table. The crunchy texture of the green onions, the umami of the Wagyu, and the richness of the egg yolk made it incredibly delicious! The Persimmon Butter on slightly sweet, crispy bread was a delightful dessert-like dish, and the Western-style flavor was also very delicious! A must-try dish! The Chicken Tsukune Miso Soup had a generous amount of green onions and grated daikon on top. The broth was my favorite kind, and it was delicious! It had more volume than it appeared, making it a recommended dish! The Thick-cut Beef Tongue came with a choice of Nanban Miso, Wasabi, or Salt for seasoning. The Nanban Miso had a spicy kick from the chili peppers, which paired perfectly with the beef tongue! Dipping the thick-cut tongue in it made it incredibly delicious! The restaurant itself had a lively and pleasant atmosphere, with a nice balance of izakaya vibes and elegance, making it a place I really enjoyed. The staff were also very friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable! I was completely satisfied! Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Shinjuku's rapidly rising in popularity!! I visited a popular restaurant that is always fully booked. Despite opening just this April, it quickly became a hit spot due to its delicious appetizers and tasty drinks. No matter what you order, there are no disappointments! First, you must try the potato salad - made by crushing freshly steamed potatoes until soft and creamy, with a delicious accent of smoked herring. The seriously good deep-fried horse mackerel was amazing, with a slightly rare mackerel wrapped in a thin coating! The beef tongue was tender, and the raw beef with egg yolk was fresh and delicious! You can tell they really care about the ingredients and freshness. The cooking is also impeccable, making it so delicious! To finish, they serve thick and satisfying mackerel sushi sticks right in front of you... so good! They have a wide variety of drinks, and the atmosphere is great. The bright and friendly service is pleasant. Highly recommended. You'll regret not going... ▶︎ Menu Club Potato Salad ¥680, Green Onion and Salted Wagyu Beef Yukhoe ¥1,480, Serious Horse Mackerel Fry ¥980, Thick-Cut Beef Tongue ¥1,480, Seared Mackerel Sushi Stick (per piece) ¥400, Chita Highball ¥880 ------------ Crowd Information / Customer Base ----------- ▶︎ Weekday 18:00 Arrival Reservation required, always full ▶︎ Entrance Time 18:00 ▶︎ Meal Time 18:15 ▶︎ Female: Male = 5:5

Unfortunately, all I can remember is how delicious it was... I won't ask for the reason. It goes without saying, right? Ω\ζ°)チーン I definitely want to come back here! However, it's a popular spot, so you can't just walk in and say "there's a good place"... Reservations are a must. The potato salad uses boiled potatoes from oden. The combination of Shine Muscat, mascarpone, and prosciutto is absolutely delicious♪ It looks cute and you can eat it in one bite when it arrives (*´ェ`*) The octopus sashimi with horse liver is a hit. I feel like places that serve octopus sashimi always do well ← personal opinion. The beef tongue is thick and beautifully cut... ♡ The interior is clean as it has only been open for about six months, the staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and it's a sure thing that the alcohol will go down smoothly!

Shinjuku Nishiguchi, towards Seibu Shinjuku, went to an izakaya at 4:00 pm on Sunday. Several groups had already arrived, and it was fully booked, so reservations are a must if you plan to go. The restaurant offers counter seats where you can enjoy the live cooking experience, as well as table seats. Counter seats might be ideal for a date. The specialties here include potato salad that you mix yourself after ordering, thick-cut shimesaba sushi sticks, and rare-fried horse mackerel. Our orders this time were: Shimesaba sushi sticks (2 pieces) for 780 yen - Thick and tender, without the usual sourness, it was so delicious that even two pieces per person would be enough. Serious horse mackerel fry for 980 yen - The fresh horse mackerel, rare-fried, had no fishy smell, with a light crispy coating and a moist mackerel texture. It was served with a special ginger soy sauce that was also delicious. Club's potato salad for 680 yen - A famous dish made with added oden broth for a subtle dashi flavor and a smooth texture. Topped with pickled shallots, which were delicious. Tako pon vinegar for 880 yen - Not just pon vinegar, but a jelly-like texture that showed attention to detail. The chewy texture was delightful, not too strong or tough. Marinated tuna torotaku for 1000 yen - The tuna was skillfully cut and marinated, with a generous cut of pickled daikon for a satisfying bite. Oyster kimchi for 880 yen - Made with large Hokkaido oysters, the rich and creamy texture was delicious, with the oysters themselves being quite tasty. Ikura rice for 1280 yen - The homemade ikura was simple and delicious, with a firm texture that popped in your mouth. The subtle seasoning allowed the flavors to shine without overwhelming. Summary: A popular restaurant among younger people, with enjoyable elements like choosing your own chopstick rest. However, the real highlight was the delicious and carefully crafted dishes.

After shopping in Shinjuku, I found this place. I visited Tsumugido the other day and it was really good, so when I checked it out, I discovered this similar store in the same area. Tsumugido has a more casual atmosphere, while this one has a slightly more mature vibe. The spacious counter surrounding the kitchen gives a lively feel, which is nice! They have a good selection of drinks including beer, sour, sake, and shochu, with grape beer being a rare find. It's also nice that they offer many tea-based drinks. The dishes are creative using seasonal ingredients. They all look so delicious that I'm at a loss for what to order. I toasted with a draft beer and a Club sour. The beer here has fine bubbles and tastes great! My friend who loves beer also praised it! The Club sour made with Setoda lemon has a nice tangy flavor. The service of being able to choose your own chopstick rest is a fun touch. I chose the red Fuji by Hokusai! The appetizers were a cold tomato soup and grated whitebait. The topping for the Club's potato salad can be chosen from Iburi gakko, pickled shiba, or shredded mountain pepper, so I went with the popular shredded mountain pepper. Shiba pickle might have looked prettier visually (laughs). The warm potato salad was so fresh and delicious! Creamy with a hint of shredded mountain pepper, it's a sophisticated taste that makes you keep eating. Octopus in ponzu sauce was beautifully sliced with a nice texture! The ponzu is in jelly form, so it doesn't overpower the flavor of the octopus. The aroma of shiso leaves is also nice and the dish is very tasty. Kyoto Kamo eggplant sauté was juicy and delicious! The pork offal mini burger was not just a hamburger with offal, but the offal was sandwiched in between! The rich and spicy flavor pairs well with the melty cheese. This is something even men would enjoy! The serious fried horse mackerel was truly impressive today! You can tell the seriousness just by looking at it! The mackerel is so fresh that you can enjoy it rare. It's lightly seasoned with ginger soy sauce. So delicious! I've never had fried mackerel like this before! The meal was finished with a luxurious salmon roe rice bowl! The popping texture of the salmon roe was amazing! All the dishes were delicious and well thought out! They skillfully incorporate various essences into the base of Japanese cuisine. Each dish has a subtle touch of creativity, making you excited to see what's coming next. The food is of a high level beyond just a typical izakaya, but it's also very easy to enter, which is very pleasing! I will visit again. ♡

"Meshiya Hiroki Club Shinjuku" is a new izakaya located a 3-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, known for its delicious food. On Friday night, the place was packed. The main seating area is a spacious open counter, but there are also tables and private rooms available. I dined at a table for two by the window on this day, ordering a la carte (though they also offer courses). One of the recommended dishes by the staff was the "Club's Potato Salad," which could be topped with shredded dried fish, pickled Japanese mustard greens, or smoked herring. The "Serious Fried Horse Mackerel" was fried to a crispy exterior but rare inside, a unique and delicious experience. The "Negi Salt Wagyu Yukke" was another must-try, with a generous amount of green onion salt and a raw egg yolk on top. The "Club's Lemon Sour" was a refreshing choice to pair with the dishes. The ham cutlet is served with mustard and is made with thick slices of ham, wrapped in a crispy coating. The "Thick-cut Beef Tongue" was also ordered and was cooked to perfection, tender with a slight chewiness. For dessert, I had the Truffle Tamago Kake Gohan, which was generously topped with thick slices of truffle, exuding a luxurious aroma. Overall, the food and drinks were fantastic, with a variety of tempting menu options. Due to its popularity, reservations are a must! • Otoshi: Itayagai Soup • Club's Potato Salad (Smoked Herring) • Serious Fried Horse Mackerel • Negi Salt Wagyu Yukke • Unzen Ham Cutlet • Thick-cut Beef Tongue • Truffle Tamago Kake Gohan

Located in Nishi-Shinjuku, there is a restaurant called Meshiya Hiroki Club Shinjuku. From the outside, it looks stylish, and you can see that the inside is bustling. It has an open kitchen, surrounded by counter seats, as well as table seats and private rooms for 4-5 people. In the middle of the counter, there are seasonal flowers displayed, which is a nice touch. The menu offers dishes that evoke the four seasons, more like a small traditional Japanese restaurant than an izakaya. The drink menu includes beer, highball, sour, tea cocktail, shochu, sake, fruit liquor, with prices ranging from 500 to 600 yen. They also have wine bottles available. After ordering, they let you choose your own chopstick rest, which is a nice touch. The appetizer for the day was a cold tomato soup, refreshing with a balance of tomato acidity and sweetness. Starting with the potato salad, you can choose your toppings, and this time I chose smoked herring. The freshly mashed potato salad had a beautiful light yellow color, with a fluffy texture and a nice amount of smoked herring topping. The oyster kimchi was made with large plump oysters from Hokkaido, which paired perfectly with the kimchi. The green onion salted beef yukke was visually appealing, with plenty of green onions and a yolk in the middle. The salt sauce was well-balanced, making the dish delicious. The beef was cut into small pieces, making it easy to mix evenly with the onions and yolk. The sirloin cut used in the dish added to the flavor. The chilled eggplant and grated yam dish offered a soft texture with the aroma of sakura shrimp and shiso flowers. The rare fried horse mackerel was lightly battered and served with dashi soy sauce, a delightful combination. The fish was slightly thin, providing a refreshing taste. The thick-cut beef tongue had a rich flavor and was tender, served with wasabi, salt, and green chili miso for customization. The seared mackerel sushi roll was recommended as the finale, and it was incredibly delicious. The sushi roll had a light vinegar flavor, complementing the richness of the mackerel. The red vinegar rice was particularly tasty, making it a standout dish. Overall, the restaurant offers a casual dining experience with high-quality dishes, attentive staff, and a lively atmosphere. It's a place I would recommend to friends and would personally visit regularly.

I think it's a must-book restaurant, but I was able to make a reservation even a week ago. The three recommended dishes that were introduced to me are in the photo. They were all very delicious, and we also ordered three other dishes, but the recommended three dishes were exceptionally tasty! I highly recommend the potato salad with sardines. ♡

Due to its popularity, I made a reservation in advance before visiting the restaurant. I was pleased with the service that confirmed my allergies in advance and allowed me to choose my favorite chopstick rest. I ordered all the popular menu items, and they were all delicious! I liked that I could choose from potato salad with smoked herring, dried baby sardines with sansho pepper, and pickled Japanese mustard spinach. The fried horse mackerel was fluffy and delicious. The only downside was that the seats were close together, making it difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices, but I would like to visit this restaurant again.

I came across this restaurant on Instagram Reels and was very intrigued by it. My instinct was that it looked delicious, so since reservations were starting to fill up, we decided to make a reservation and visit early. ◆Access◆ About 7 minutes from Shinjuku Station West Exit ◆Operating hours and atmosphere inside the store◆ Almost full on a Sunday evening ◆Recommended usage scene◆ Perfect for a romantic date or hanging out with friends or colleagues ◆Orders◆ Visited with 2 people, and considering the atmosphere of the restaurant, the cost performance was good, so I will also include the prices this time to compare with the photos. ◆Appetizer: Chilled Tomato Soup◆ ◆Club Lemon Sour (583 yen)◆ Similar to a fresh lemon sour ◆Crazy Lemon Sour (583 yen)◆ Lemon sour in a unique style ◆Club Potato Salad (784 yen)◆ They crush potatoes and eggs from oden and make it after ordering. Warm and delicious, especially when paired with smoked herring, it makes the alcohol go down smoothly. ◆Octopus with Ponzu Sauce (968 yen)◆ The ponzu jelly paired perfectly with the thick octopus. A refreshing dish perfect for summer. ◆Green Onion and Salted Beef Yukke (1628 yen)◆ The combination of green onion, salt, and egg was surprisingly delicious. ◆Thick-cut Tongue (1628 yen)◆ A generous portion of thick and beautiful tongue served with their specialty salt. ◆Serious Fried Horse Mackerel (1408 yen)◆ This is their signature dish and it was surprisingly delicious. The rare fried horse mackerel, which can also be eaten raw, paired perfectly with the ginger soy sauce. ◆Sake "Saku" (1320 yen for 1 cup)◆ ◆Truffle Tamago Kake Gohan (1480 yen)◆ A generous amount of truffle on top of the Tamago Kake Gohan. We adjusted the soy sauce with truffle oil while eating. Another amazing dish that I would love to eat again tomorrow! The open kitchen adds a lively atmosphere while still maintaining a sense of tranquility. This type of atmosphere is rare in the Shinjuku Nishi-Shinjuku area. The tableware and chopstick rests are all unified in Kutani ware, giving a sense of sophistication for adults. There are still many dishes I want to try, so I would like to visit again. It was a delicious restaurant that was a big hit with my intuition! Thank you for the meal! ♡

Accompanied by a friend, I visited this restaurant. I was surprised to find such a place with such a unique shop, but it exceeded my expectations. The biggest charm of this place is, of course, the food (obviously, haha). The recommended "Potato Salad" was soft and melted in my mouth. And the toppings! I chose smoked cheese, which paired extremely well (there were also pickled radish and... one more option). All the dishes are beautifully presented and perfect for Instagram. Especially the "Serious Fried Horse Mackerel" was seriously delicious. The fresh horse mackerel, slightly rare and fried, was a masterpiece. The crispy coating and moist flesh created a perfect harmony of sashimi and fry. Another highlight was the Fatty Taku Roll. Simple yet rich in flavor, it consists of fatty tuna and cleverly complementing pickled radish. The richness of the fatty tuna paired with the unique sweetness of the pickled radish creates a well-balanced taste. The drink selection is varied, from classics to unique options. The white peach oolong tea was refreshing, and the house-made lemon sour was also great. The true highlight of this place is the "heartfelt service" of the female staff. The warm and attentive service of the smiling female staff filled my heart. They truly make the time spent at the restaurant exceptional. Although the price was close to 20,000 yen, I was satisfied. Next time, I will bring a date to this restaurant. With the heartwarming staff, exquisite food, and the perfect atmosphere to enjoy them, I will definitely come back. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This restaurant, located away from the hustle and bustle of Nishi-Shinjuku, was a hidden gem for adults where the taste of Japanese tradition and modern design perfectly blended. The clean and modern interior, along with the calming orange lighting, creates a serene atmosphere that helps you forget about the everyday life. The highlight of the dining experience was the delicious dishes made from scratch at the counter kitchen in front of you. You can feel the passion and pride of the chefs in each dish. The precise cooking techniques contribute to the depth of flavors. Particularly impressive was the "Serious Fried Horse Mackerel". The thick mackerel, crispy coating, and ginger soy sauce were a surprising delight! Other notable dishes included the luxurious "Thick-cut Beef Tongue" and the thick Seared Mackerel Sushi. Each dish was delicious! A unique service offered was the option to choose from a variety of chopstick rests, adding a fun touch to the dining experience. The service from the female staff in the dining area was exceptional. They were energetic, cheerful, and provided detailed explanations and thoughtful service for each dish. The overall rating was significantly boosted by the female staff in the dining area! I found a great restaurant after a long time. I would love to bring my friends here again. Here is a list of some of the menu items I tried as a personal reminder: - Seasonal Fruit and Cheese Wrapped in Prosciutto This month's fruit was fig. The sweetness of the fruit, cream cheese, and prosciutto created a perfect balance! - Club's Potato Salad This special potato salad was infused with a rich broth. You can choose to top it with shredded Japanese pepper, adding a unique flavor. - Unzen Ham Cutlet Crispy exterior and juicy interior. - Negi Shio Wagyu Yukke The aroma of sesame oil combined with the umami of Wagyu beef. A dish that makes you want to come back for more. - Dried Chicken Wing Karaage Perfect for pairing with drinks. Don't forget the fun of nibbling around the bones. - Swordfish and Cheese Spring Roll The harmony of swordfish and cream cheese is delightful. - Serious Fried Horse Mackerel Served half rare, this horse mackerel is delicious on its own or paired with beer. - Thick-cut Beef Tongue A must-try for beef tongue lovers. Enjoy it with three types of condiments. - Truffle Tamago Kake Gohan Truffle aroma gently wafts, adding a luxurious touch. The quality is exceptional for the price.

【Waiting Time】Reservation required as it is full even on weekdays due to no walk-ins 【Reservation】Online reservation available (via Tabelog) and phone reservation possible 【Price Range】From 5000 yen 【Features】A trendy restaurant that opened in April 2023. I heard that it is affiliated with the popular izakaya Tsumugidou in Shinjuku. All dishes are made in the store, so you can enjoy them freshly cooked at the best temperature. Since it is a counter kitchen, you can see everything being prepared, making it enjoyable to watch. The staff first brought a lot of chopstick rests and you could choose your favorite one, showing their playful side. 【Atmosphere】The restaurant has a clean and calm atmosphere with orange lighting. There are table seats, private rooms, box seats, and a counter, so it can be used for various purposes. Personally, I recommend the counter seats where you can see the kitchen and feel the lively atmosphere. There are also completely private tatami rooms for those who want to enjoy in a private space. 【Food】◯Appetizer It was a cold tomato soup. It was mild with a balanced acidity that allowed you to enjoy the tomato flavor. The soup was light and perfect for this season. ◯Zucchini Grilled cheese topping 700 yen The zucchini was grilled carefully, leaving it soft and juicy with a slight moisture. The grilling was done perfectly, making it tender and slightly melted. It is topped with olive oil and cheese. Although it is a simple dish, the combination of the cheese richness, zucchini sweetness, and black pepper was excellent. ◯Club Potato Salad 680 yen You can choose from pickled radish, shredded Japanese pepper, or smoked herring. This time, I chose pickled radish. The potato salad is made after ordering, so it is warm. I could see that it is a popular menu by the way they kept making it repeatedly. The potato salad uses boiled eggs in addition to potatoes, giving it a smooth and mild taste. The texture of the pickled radish was enjoyable and exquisite. ◯Thick-cut beef tongue 1480 yen This luxurious dish features thick-cut beef tongue. It was grilled to a slightly rare doneness, with a perfect grilling level. The outside was slightly crispy, while the inside was rare, tender, and juicy. It filled my mouth with meat juice. It comes with wasabi, salt, and green chili miso, so you can enjoy it according to your preference. ◯Serious Fried Horse Mackerel 1280 yen The fried horse mackerel was excellent and my favorite today. The thick mackerel was so fresh that it could be eaten as sashimi. It was cooked rare, as the preheating would cook it quickly, so I was advised to eat it quickly. The batter was thin and crispy, with a good texture. It was refreshing with soy sauce containing ginger. A dish I would definitely order again next time. ◯Seared cured mackerel stick sushi 380 yen The thick cured mackerel and the sushi rice were authentic and very delicious. I was impressed by the thick cured mackerel, which I had never seen before. It was fun to have it served on a large spoon. 【Drinks】The drink menu is extensive, so you can't go wrong if you like alcohol. There is a wide selection of alcoholic beverages as well as soft drinks. Rather than specializing in something specific, the overall impression is that the lineup is well-stocked, so I thought that even if you have different tastes in alcohol, you can enjoy it with others. 【Service】All staff members have a cheerful and energetic impression. They have a lively and clear voice. Their explanations were detailed, and they frequently checked on us, making the whole experience pleasant. With a clean interior, pleasant service, a wide selection of drinks, and delicious homemade dishes, I would like to come back when I'm looking for an izakaya in the Shinjuku area.

Budget: 6000-8000 yen Order: A la carte only Duration: 1.5-2 hours Reservation: Via Tabelog Located a 5-minute walk from Shinjuku Station West Exit, this modern izakaya is tucked away on a quiet street away from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. With a name like "Meshiya," you can expect to find a touch of traditional Japanese taste throughout the restaurant. The interior is modern, centered around a counter, making it a great spot for a slightly more mature izakaya date rather than a rowdy atmosphere. The menu offers a wide variety of drinks and dishes, all with catchy options that make you want to try everything. Some dishes change seasonally, and during the summer visit, we enjoyed dishes featuring summer vegetables like water eggplant and corn. The portion sizes are not too big, allowing you to share and order a variety of items, which is great. Although we sat at a table this time and missed out on the live kitchen experience at the counter, it looked like a lot of fun. Despite being in a similar price range to other izakayas, the quality here is exceptional, making it stand out among the many options in Shinjuku. Reservations can be hard to come by, so I recommend booking early. If you're considering an izakaya date in Shinjuku, be sure to check this place out. [Order] - Thick-cut beef tongue - Serious mackerel fry - Chicken sashimi from Kagoshima - Negi salted wagyu yukhoe - Club's potato salad - Chilled tomato soup - Mentaiko and shiso spring rolls - Eel and corn mixed rice - Seared mackerel sushi roll

▪️Shop Name [Meshiya Hiroki Club Shinjuku] Opened in April of the 23rd year! It is said to be a sister store of the popular izakaya Tsumugido in Shinjuku. This time, I made a reservation visit at 8:15 pm on a weekday (※It is recommended to make a reservation early as this popular restaurant fills up quickly). We were seated at a table by the staff, who brought a lot of chopstick rests for us to choose from. I chose the "Daruma" design. Here is a rough timeline of what we ordered: ◯ Club's Lemon Sour 583 yen A dry and refreshing lemon-flavored drink. ・Otoshi (appetizer) 500 yen ◯ Chilled Tomato Soup A refreshing chilled soup with a hint of richness. ◯ Seasonal Fruit and Cheese Wrapped in Prosciutto 825 yen The freshness of the fruit, the creaminess of the cheese, and the saltiness of the prosciutto complement each other well. ◯ Club's Potato Salad 748 yen Recommended as a specialty of the restaurant. Made with warm, fluffy potatoes and topped with crispy shredded green pepper and a refreshing Japanese spice. ◯ Thick-Cut Beef Tongue 1628 yen Served slightly rare with wasabi, salt, and green chili peppers on the side. A thick, crispy texture with a tender inside, no off-flavors, and a simple and elegant taste of tongue. The spicy miso and wasabi served as accents enhanced the flavor when added in small amounts. ◯ Bourgogne Pinot Noir La Moutonnière 1000 yen Producer: Lou Peil et Fils Grape variety: Pinot Noir A deep dark red appearance with a rich aroma of red fruits like black cherries and plums. It has a rich fruitiness followed by a fresh and straightforward acidity and a fine astringency, creating a well-balanced taste with a pleasant aftertaste. Paired with beef tongue, yukhoe, etc. ◯ Negi Shio Wagyu Yukhoe 1628 yen A visually appealing dish with a fresh, unctuous taste of lean meat yukhoe. The richness and sweetness of the egg, along with the refreshing taste of the green onions, enhance the overall flavor. ◯ Seared Mackerel Sushi Rolls (2 pieces) 836 yen A thick and flavorful seared mackerel sushi roll with a well-balanced taste of thick mackerel umami and a moderate vinegar acidity, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. ◯ Truffle Tamago Kake Gohan (TKG) 1408 yen You can smell the rich aroma of summer truffles without having to bring your nose close to the dish. The rich TKG with the richness of the egg. Adding the soy sauce provided on the side enhances the depth of flavor! The restaurant was almost full throughout the weekday, despite being a weekday. Although it is an izakaya, the interior is modern and clean, making it suitable for gatherings such as girls' nights out or dates. I would like to consider this restaurant as a candidate for future drinking outings in Shinjuku. Well, this time I visited "Meshiya Hiroki Club Shinjuku" located a 5-minute walk from JR Shinjuku Station! Truffle TKG (1280), Unzen Ham Katsu (700), Thick-cut Beef Tongue (1480), Green Onion Salted Wagyu Yukke (1480), Seared Mackerel Sushi Stick (380), Uni and Potato (980), Pork Belly Daikon (900), Club's Potato Salad (680), etc... Each dish is well seasoned and delicious! The sushi sticks are served straight from the counter, making it visually appealing! The restaurant had a good mix of men and women. It's a great atmosphere for couples to visit! The Truffle TKG is loaded with truffle and when you mix the shining egg yolk, it becomes a superb dish. The truffle oil in the soy sauce enhances the truffle aroma even before you taste it! Each dish pairs well with alcohol. The meat is delicious, especially the beef tongue, ham katsu, and yukke. The pork belly daikon is melt-in-your-mouth tender! If you want to drink in Shinjuku, give it a try!

Located in Shinjuku, Meshiya Hiroki Club (@hirokiclub_shinjuku) is a popular izakaya that opened in the Shinjuku Nishiguchi area in April this year. It offers a variety of dishes, including teppanyaki and small plates featuring seasonal ingredients, all at reasonable prices. Some of the dishes include green onion and salted wagyu beef tartare, thick-cut beef tongue, deep-fried chicken wings, sea urchin and potatoes, octopus carpaccio, zucchini, tomato soaked in dashi broth, fatty tuna, thick-cut ham cutlet, and spring rolls. The restaurant has counter seats surrounding the kitchen, as well as tables and private rooms, making it suitable for dates, girls' nights out, and second rounds. Due to its popularity, reservations may be difficult to secure.

I used it for Saturday dinner! I entered before 6pm, but it was already full of reservations! The atmosphere in the restaurant was like a traditional Japanese cuisine restaurant, and the customers were mainly in their 20s! First, tomato soup was served as a complimentary dish, and it was delicious with the taste of the ingredients coming out, raising expectations! The menu was like creative Japanese cuisine, and all the dishes looked delicious and I had a hard time choosing...♪ The dishes I ordered were Iburi Gakko potato salad, ham cutlet, beef tongue, cured mackerel sushi, negi salt Wagyu yukke, pork and daikon simmered dish, and mango cheesecake! They were all very delicious, but my favorite was the cured mackerel sushi! The cured mackerel was thick and delicious! Also, the grape beer was very delicious! I had grape beer for the first time, and it had a strong grape flavor, and was a sweet beer♪ The staff were lively and provided attentive service, making it a wonderful restaurant! There were many menu items that caught my eye, so I would definitely like to visit again!

I ordered the recommended three dishes, fried horse mackerel, potato salad, and pickled mackerel. All the dishes were delicious. However, I felt a bit nervous because there was a time limit for the table, and I was rushed to place my order and keep the menu clean by quickly putting it back on the table. They promptly cleared the empty dishes, which shows that they are attentive to customers, but it didn't make me feel very relaxed. The food was excellent.
