I had the recommended seasonal spaghetti, cold Japanese-style pork shabu-shabu with plenty of aromatic vegetables and grated daikon for 1,280 yen. The cold dish had al dente noodles that were well cooked and delicious. It had a sesame flavor, but I felt it was a bit too sweet.

First time at Goroemon Pasta... I never went before because for some reason it didn't seem appetizing with the store's image and the counter looking a bit unappetizing lol Am I the only one feeling this way? The inside of the store was busy in the evening... with only one waiter rushing around and unable to provide good service... As for the pasta... I tried two types, but both were just okay... I heard the meat sauce is the best, so I'll try that next time if I get the chance.

Once again, it's been a while since I visited Goemon! This place was one of the pioneers of pasta served with chopsticks. Nowadays, there are many Japanese-style pasta restaurants, but Goemon was quite a shock when I first tried it about 20 years ago. This time, I ordered the "Iberico pork and summer vegetables spaghetti" which was a mix of various summer vegetables with a classic soy sauce butter flavor. It was delicious and satisfying with all the different vegetables. A great choice!

Head to Shiba 5-chome in Minato Ward, to the Keio Nakadori Shotengai. Have lunch at "Yo-menya Goemon Mita Store" located on Sakurada Street, which was established in Shibuya in 1976 as a Japanese creative pasta restaurant that Japanese people find delicious. They were pioneers in serving spaghetti that you can eat with chopsticks. The ingredients such as pasta and olive oil are directly sourced by the staff in Italy. With a wide menu selection, it's hard to decide what to order. Although tempted by the "Shirakami awabi mushroom, snow crab, and scallop peperoncino" for 1300 yen, I ended up choosing the "Asparagus and Bacon Genovese Cream" with chicken clear soup for 1150 yen. Behind the glass partition in the kitchen, they cook pasta in a huge "Goemon kettle". This is the secret to al dente pasta. While savoring the chicken clear soup, I waited eagerly. The dish arrived on a surprisingly large Arita ware plate, with vivid blue patterns on white porcelain. The green Genovese sauce and pink bacon stood out beautifully. The pasta is made from 100% durum wheat and semolina flour. Itadakimasu! This pasta is truly al dente, with the fragrance of garlic and extra virgin olive oil. It's delicious. The pasta, enveloped in smooth cream, slides down the throat with pleasure. I finished it eagerly. Although a bit pricey, I am satisfied. ( ´∀` )/ Bon appétit!

I was looking for a place to eat pasta around Mita and came across Goemon along the main street! It was hard to find a place to have pasta easily at night, especially in the drinking district, so I was happy to find it. It had been a while since I last visited Goemon! I went around 7 pm and the restaurant had some empty seats, which was just right. There were a lot of young people! I decided to order the tarako and yuba with cheese carbonara that I suddenly felt like eating! It was incredibly delicious! I'm glad that there are no misses on the Goemon menu. I will definitely make use of Goemon when I come across it again somewhere!

After more than 10 years, I visited Gogemon again. Gogemon was a popular place known for its pasta dishes eaten with chopsticks over 20 years ago. I used to visit the store in Harajuku often, but recently I haven't seen it around much. The last memory I have is visiting the store in Kashiwa over 10 years ago. I ordered the "Mentaiko, Shrimp, and Shimeji Mushroom with Shiso Flavor" pasta, which reminded me of the Japanese-style pasta I used to enjoy. The nostalgic feeling took over, and I didn't pay much attention to the taste. I just ate it normally. Sometimes, Gogemon might be a good choice too!

On a holiday around 11 in the morning, there weren't many places open except for a family restaurant. I didn't really have a specific dish in mind, just wanted to pass the time, so I decided to go in. There were no other customers at first, but around 11:30 a few solo diners started to trickle in. I ordered the recommended winter menu item, the "Hiroshima oyster and scallop with winter vegetables tomato cream soup" (1350 yen) with the ladies' set (360 yen). Surprisingly, the set included the option of wine along with soft drinks. It's like a family restaurant wine, but for only 360 yen including salad, soup, and wine, it was worth it. The salad was simple with shredded daikon and white sesame, but surprisingly tasty. The soup seemed instant but still quite delicious. The main dish took a bit longer to arrive, but it was piping hot and satisfying. It was more like soba or ramen in terms of using chopsticks. The actual dish looked quite different from the sample displayed in the front window, but that's understandable. However, for the price, I felt a bit disappointed with the portion sizes - only two oysters and two thin slices of scallop. The taste was great, but the value for money was not the best. Another downside was the lackluster service from a young girl who seemed to be a part-time staff. It felt like a waste of her potential. Also, the restroom being located near the kitchen was a bit off-putting. The disposable chopsticks seemed to be of good quality, maybe a bit costly.

Today was a day to come into the office, so I decided to have lunch here. I ordered the Mediterranean-style tomato cream soup with crab, shrimp, and clams. This restaurant serves dishes that you can eat with chopsticks, so everyone was enjoying their meal while slurping. My dish was like a Western-style seafood noodle soup, and it was delicious. However, I had to wait a bit longer than expected for the spaghetti.

I was spending a relaxing holiday with friends during the mid-term of Golden Week. Although we didn't have any big plans to go out (a bit disappointing), my husband suggested going out for dinner on this particular day. We chose this restaurant from his usual list of about four places, in the mood for pasta. It's usually crowded with students, but surprisingly empty this time due to Golden Week. I ordered the Healthy Pasta Set, which came with a generous portion of Caesar salad topped with luxurious cheese. The salad was quite flavorful with the cheese, so I didn't even need to use the dressing. For the pasta, I chose the Mimolette cheese, shrimp, and leek with mentaiko butter sauce. At first, the salad was so intense that I couldn't taste the pasta, but after finishing the salad and cleansing my palate with water, the pasta tasted delicious. Personally, I would have liked a stronger butter flavor. This set is perfect for those who can't handle too much flour in the noodles. It was a delightful experience to have pasta outside.

I visited for dinner after work. I ordered the Iberico pork and mushroom spaghetti with a small bottle of beer. The noodles were thin and seasoned with a soy sauce base. The finely chopped garlic added a nice aroma and enhanced the flavor. The Iberico pork was actually bacon, thinly sliced with a lot of fat, so I couldn't really taste the Iberico flavor, which was disappointing. However, the mushrooms were good! They were big and had a nice texture, maybe shiitake mushrooms? They were fluffy and reminded me of autumn. It was dinner time around 7 o'clock, and there was only one woman managing the floor. Good job! Thank you for the delicious spaghetti.

I visited Goyemon near my company for the first time. They have a special menu for the winter season, and I tried the indulgent spaghetti with Iberico pork and winter vegetables (soy sauce butter). It was delicious, with the soy sauce butter and the soft-boiled egg adding great flavor.

It had been almost a year since I last went, but unexpectedly I ordered the same thing. I guess I have my preferences. However, this dish has a lot of vegetables, so it's healthy and good.

It's been a few years since I last visited Goyemon. I used to frequent a different Goyemon about 5 years ago and I really liked it. However, I felt that this restaurant has a lot of areas that need improvement. First of all, there were too few staff members in the dining area. Even during lunchtime peak hours, one person was responsible for everything - cashier, serving, taking orders, and cleaning up. I felt sorry for them. Despite not being particularly slow, it took 40 minutes from entering to completing payment, which was surprising. It was disappointing that the salad and soup arrived after the pasta. Also, I ordered the tomato cream pasta, but the cream was powdery and disappointing. It just tasted sour, and I couldn't even taste the tomato fragrance. This is disappointing for a pasta restaurant where dishes cost over 1000 yen each. Please make improvements.
