This is a meat lover's paradise, Tajiima Meat in Koto-ku. Located near Oshihashi Station, it's a meat shop that also serves yakiniku, shabu-shabu, and sukiyaki. The first floor is the meat shop, the second floor is for yakiniku, and the third floor is for shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. The shabu-shabu course with top-quality marbled Matsusaka beef costs ¥11,000 and comes with vegetables and udon. The marbled meat melts in your mouth, and dipping it in sauce enhances the flavor. They also offer other options like lean wagyu beef and pork loin. The cozy atmosphere and delicious meat make this place a must-visit for meat lovers.

The Matsusaka beef sukiyaki was excellent! It's on the pricier side among lunch menus, but it pairs perfectly with beer. I happened to go on a day when beer was half off, so I enjoyed it for lunch! The meat was tender and you could really taste the quality.

This is a lunch report on "Niku no Tajima," a place known for delicious meat in Koto-ku. The location is in Ogihashi, Koto-ku, Tokyo, with the nearest station being Sumiyoshi Station where the Toei Shinjuku Line and Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line intersect. It is about 1km away, a bit of a distance. Another option is to go from Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Station where the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line and Toei Oedo Line intersect, which is also about the same distance. Although the transportation may not be the best in Tokyo, this restaurant is well-known locally for having long lines. The first floor is a meat and deli shop, offering a wide variety of meats and fried dishes. For lunch, we head to the second floor where the yakiniku corner is located. Despite being fully booked, we wait with about 5 other customers for a table. Luckily, we are seated after a 15-minute wait. The most popular lunch option here is the Sukiyaki set for 1,600 yen, but this time I order the Beef Katsu set for 1,500 yen. The staff mentioned that the Beef Katsu takes a bit of time to cook, but it arrives in just 10 minutes. The Beef Katsu is substantial and flavorful, with the side of grated yam adding a unique taste. The miso soup is also packed with ingredients, providing a satisfying meal. Although the access may not be the best, this is a must-visit restaurant for meat lovers. I will definitely be back!

Theme: Hamburg Steak
Famous for its meat, Niku no Tajima is a restaurant that also offers lunch, including hamburg steak. I heard about this information and decided to visit the restaurant.
I climbed the steep stairs to the second floor, where there was a high-class atmosphere with elegant couples, families, and couples dining. Most people were enjoying sukiyaki or yakiniku, but I was more interested in the affordable menu options.
I ordered the Hamburg Steak Set for ¥950. The steak was small but had a delicious meaty aroma. The meat was juicy and flavorful, giving off a sense of luxury.
Although I only jotted down a few notes due to my distracted state, I realized the importance of having someone like a mentor (Meatball-senpai) around.
Child's Note: Despite the somewhat aloof Hamburg Steak, it still exudes a sense of luxury. It may feel lonely to dine alone on a Saturday, so it's best to go with family or friends.

Before heading to Akihabara to play, I was looking for a place nearby where I could have a yakiniku lunch, and I came across Niku no Tajima, so I decided to go there. The best part was that they had parking, so it was easy to drive there. Even though it's a place where you can enjoy Matsusaka beef, I didn't order Matsusaka beef. The reason was that they had a menu where you could try four different types of tongue, called "Tongue Delight Four Variety Special - Top Grade Tongue Salt, Upper Grade Tongue Salt, Tongue Skirt Salt, and Tongue Salt." I was curious, so I ordered this. After trying it, I found that the top grade tongue salt was quite delicious, but the rest were just okay. Honestly, they were not as good as the upper grade tongue at Tongue Sei. I also ordered the Wagyu Kalbi lunch, which was decent and average. The atmosphere was a bit intimidating for a solo diner, but it seemed more welcoming to older customers. I'm not a fan of gatherings of young people, so it felt more comfortable for me. Next time, I'd like to try the Matsusaka beef feast with a gourmet friend.

I visited this restaurant before traveling overseas to enjoy delicious Japanese meat. The restaurant is owned by a butcher shop, with the first floor being the shop, the second floor being a yakiniku restaurant, and the third floor serving sukiyaki and shabu-shabu. This time, I tried the sukiyaki. There are four grades of meat: Oyama Mori for 2000 yen, Marbled for 3200 yen, Premium Marbled for 4500 yen, and Special Premium Marbled for 5800 yen. The Oyama Mori is affordable but the quality of the meat is not lower, it's just cut from different parts. The staff recommended ordering both lean and marbled meat to enjoy the difference in taste, so I ordered Marbled and Special Premium Marbled. Each plate comes with 4 slices of meat. The first slice was cooked by the staff. As soon as it was cooked, the fat started to melt. It melted in the mouth immediately! The staff mentioned that adding shirataki noodles usually makes the meat tough, but this meat doesn't get tough even with the noodles. They also provide dipping sauce and broth for you to adjust the flavor. The Special Premium Marbled is so rich that I was satisfied after eating just 2 slices. The staff explains everything thoroughly and the fact that you can enjoy Matsusaka beef at such an affordable price is wonderful. I would love to visit again.

Butcher-run set meal restaurant. First, the cushions were slimy, so I removed them. The children were making noise inside the store, but no one scolded them. The meat in the "Hormone Set Meal 4 Varieties" was small, only 2 pieces each. When I opened the automatic door, I was told to take off my shoes. However, Chinese customers were allowed to enter with their shoes on up to the sunken kotatsu area without being told anything. I won't be going back.

I have eaten a lot of high-quality beef like Matsusaka beef, but recently I don't really go to restaurants that specialize in such expensive meat. However, a friend suggested we go to a Matsusaka beef restaurant, saying it's really good, so I couldn't resist. The first floor was a butcher shop, and I wanted to buy some Matsusaka beef scraps or trimmings, but since it was a drinking party, I gave up. What a shame. The second floor was a yakiniku restaurant. It's now non-smoking, but there were still people smoking near the entrance. Because it's in Koto Ward, there were young dads with their babies, giving the place a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The beef was delicious, even though it's Matsusaka beef, but after eating a bit, I was already satisfied. The cost performance was good though. As usual, the heavy drinkers went for liver and offal. Those who couldn't drink just focused on eating the high-quality Matsusaka beef. We were impressed by how much they could eat while drinking. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. It seems to be a well-known restaurant that only those in the know are familiar with.

Steak can be reserved. Arrived with family of four on bicycles at 6:00 PM on Saturday, after making a reservation. The front of the restaurant and the parking lot were filled with cars and bicycles, showing its popularity. The first floor is a butcher shop, while the second and third floors are for yakiniku, shabu-shabu, and steak. The narrow staircase was crowded with waiting customers. Inside the restaurant, there were sunken kotatsu tables, creating a lively and noisy izakaya atmosphere. Ordered Matsusaka beef sirloin steak and regular tenderloin steak. The steak was tender and delicious, but the hot plate wasn't hot enough, which was a bit disappointing. They only served large and small sizes of draft beer. Overall, it was a bit pricey for what we got, so we might try a better restaurant next time. I'm curious to try the croquettes and menchi on the first floor, and challenge the long line at the reservation-free yakiniku on the second floor.

This place has been a local meat specialty shop since ancient times. In addition to sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, and steak, there is also yakiniku, which may be more crowded. The restaurant section is on the 2nd and 3rd floors, with the 1st floor being the meat shop. Croquettes are also sold on the 1st floor. It's not a luxurious or fancy yakiniku restaurant, but it doesn't feel unclean either, and you can enjoy delicious meat at a relatively low price. The recommended dish is the upper harami (yakiniku). If you come from afar just to eat here, it may seem ordinary. It feels like a delicious local meat shop.

A restaurant located right next to the intersection of Ogihashi 1-chome in Koto Ward. The first floor is a butcher shop, the second floor is a yakiniku restaurant, and the third floor serves other meat dishes. With the recent popularity of Matsusaka beef contrasting the Miyazaki beef boom, the restaurant has been attracting a lot of attention, even from TV crews. This time, I tried the "sukiyaki". The price per serving varies from ¥1,000 to ¥4,600 depending on the type of meat, similar to shabu-shabu. As there were three men dining together, we decided to try all four types of meat, starting from the most expensive to the cheapest, with each type being shared by two people. The highest grade "tokujou shimofuri gyu" (¥4,600) had a good marbling, and as soon as it was cooked in the iron pot, the fat started to melt. The meat was so delicious that it disappeared in an instant in my mouth, but since it was sukiyaki, the flavor of the sauce was quite strong, so I couldn't fully appreciate the taste of the meat. Surprisingly, the cheapest meat we had last (¥1,000) didn't look appealing, but it had a good flavor of dashi soaked into the meat, and it tasted quite delicious. I thought the cost-performance ratio was excellent.

Beef stew is the best! It's 1,000 yen cheaper for lunch.
