Visited HARBS Tokyo Midtown store in Akasaka, Minato-ku. Located inside Roppongi Midtown. I stopped by for tea time after a meal. The place was filled with elegant ladies. I ordered a hot chamomile tea. It was very soothing.

On a normal day, I entered the restaurant right at opening time at 11 o'clock. It was empty at that time, but within 30 minutes, it was full and there were people waiting. I ordered the lunch set (2100 yen). The tomato and mozzarella pasta had large chunks of peeled tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. It was a delight to savor the fresh tomato pasta. For dessert, I had a half-cut cake. The chestnut chocolate cake had a hint of brandy, making it irresistible. It was a truly happy time. The casual yet cozy atmosphere of the restaurant was perfect for relaxing on the corner sofa seat.

Lunch was mediocre, so I decided to have some cake as a palate cleanser. It's a famous shop that I had never been to before. There were many women dining alone, and it was quite crowded. I ordered a fruit cake and tea. The cake was surprisingly large! It seems like it's meant to be shared by multiple people. The whipped cream was not too sweet and delicious! It was a nice treat. The cake was delicious! It was perfect for cafe use. Although it was lunchtime, I used it as a cafe. It started to get crowded after a little past noon, but it was calm around 1 pm. There were plenty of cakes displayed in front of the store, which got me excited. The menu inside only had pictures of cakes, so I had to stand up and go see the display again. It would be nice if the menu had photos instead of drawings. I ordered the melon cake and ice royal milk tea. The melon cake was 1000 yen, but I was surprised by its size! It was very big, with a satisfying taste. The melon was very sweet and had a good aroma, making it fresh and delicious. I also liked that the whipped cream was not too sweet. I will definitely go back to eat cake at this cafe again!

When I go to HARBS, I always order the banana cream pie. The combination of chocolate sauce, custard cream, crispy white sesame pie crust, and bananas creates a unique and addictive flavor that makes me want to eat it regularly. My friend ordered the milk crepe and I took a bite, and it was still delicious as always, a classic menu item. I remember that during the strawberry season, there were also strawberries in it, but in the current season, there is a lot of melon, and the melon flavor was quite strong. The milk crepe is really delicious too, but whenever I come to HARBS, I always end up ordering the banana cream pie because the combination of bananas and chocolate is just so delicious. I ordered a seasonal cake with apple mango flavor. It was a large cake, but easy to eat with a mousse texture, and I finished it in no time! I enjoyed it with a cup of Earl Grey tea. The apple mango flavor was not too overpowering, making it easy to eat! However, I arrived after 4 pm and more than half of the cakes were sold out, which was disappointing! I want to try other cakes next time! ❤️

My favorite shop is Harbs. I like the open atmosphere here. I always have a hard time choosing a cake from the menu, so I usually go for the milk crepe with various fruits in it. This time, I had the strawberry milk crepe, which seems to only be available when it's in season. I always go for the Manhattan blend, which fills my heart and stomach.

I visited during coffee time after having lunch at Midtown. No wait. When I left, there was a line outside the store as shown in the photo, so I recommend entering before lunchtime! Ordered the seasonal limited edition strawberry milk crepe (a repeat order) and organic coffee (dark roast). The taste was consistently delicious. In my opinion, this is a "must-visit milk crepe shop", but there were also many people using it for lunch with pasta or other meals at that time. There were also a few moms using strollers inside the store. The atmosphere was calmer compared to other Herb stores, with a spacious layout. Recommended!

The cake is big and delicious. I have had takeout cakes from other stores several times, but this is my first time eating at the store. Shibuya and Shinjuku are very crowded and I can't wait, but the Akasaka store had a small wait this time, so I was able to enter. The banana pie is mostly made of custard and banana, but I love the perfect sweetness. The clientele at the Akasaka store, at least this time, was calm and I liked it. The popular restaurant is always crowded during lunchtime. It starts to calm down after 1:30 pm. I ordered the lunch set which includes salad, pasta, half a cake, and a drink. You can choose from 4 types of pasta and 2 flavors of half cakes (chocolate and chestnut). The price used to be 1600 yen, but now it has increased to 1900 yen. The Pescaatore pasta has plenty of seafood and looks very satisfying. The half cake after the meal was just the right amount, and the chestnut cake was delicious.

There is no separate billing, so please make sure to settle the bill in advance when going with friends. Herb's cakes are delicious, no complaints there. Also, drink orders are required, so please keep that in mind.

The restaurant was bustling with customers throughout. The milk crepe, with cream and fruits sandwiched between thin layers, was a standout. The pasta was also surprisingly high quality for a cake shop. Please note that they operate on a one-drink policy.

The pasta was a bit disappointing...Nock seems to have higher quality pasta, but this one had a generous amount of chicken and was very filling. It could use a bit more sauce though. Maybe the saltiness is a bit weak...I had the chocolate cake for dessert. The chocolate cream was not too sweet and delicious. You can spend a relaxing time here.

Between the thin crepe layers, there were plenty of seasonal fruits such as bananas, strawberries, and kiwi, making it a voluminous cake. The cream was not too sweet, making it easy to eat.

I was looking for a cafe in Midtown where I could take a break after lunch. When I was a student, Herb's cakes were a special treat, but now I think that a cake of this size with a drink for just under 2,000 yen is quite reasonable. The pear mille-feuille was very delicious!
