Located in Ginza 8-chome, this popular Spanish restaurant has won the Michelin Bib Gourmand award for two consecutive years. The deliciousness exceeded my expectations, even though it had won awards in the past. The high-level flavors are truly impressive. The restaurant has a calm ambiance with sophisticated lighting, offering both counter and table seating. I was seated at a table and enjoyed the highest quality Jamón Ibérico ham, a favorite among celebrities worldwide, for ¥1,800 for half a plate. The ham was beautifully cut, with its low melting point fat and rich meat creating an elegant start to the dinner. The Mediterranean salad with curly kale and beets for ¥1,200 was not only made with kale and beets but also included colorful vegetables and dragon fruit, creating a vibrant salad reminiscent of a bouquet. The balsamic vinegar-based dressing added an exceptional flavor. We ordered two servings and enjoyed an abundance of vegetables. The Potato Fry with soft-boiled egg and Spanish ham paleta for ¥1,100 was surprisingly delicious. The Basque-style whale carpaccio with wasabi greens and salsa chimichurri for ¥1,600 was a delightful surprise, as I did not expect to taste Argentine cuisine's chimichurri sauce in Spanish cuisine. The dish also included Spanish peppers called Esplette, adding to the overall deliciousness. The Valencian-style paella for ¥2,250 served for 2 people was a highlight of the meal. The freshly made paella was presented and then served, allowing us to savor the authentic flavors. The dish came with lemon and homemade mayonnaise, adding a fragrant and fresh touch. For dessert, we enjoyed the Crema Catalana, a Spanish-style crème brûlée, for ¥750. The creamy texture and crispy top were delightful, especially when paired with coffee. The service was excellent, with friendly staff providing detailed explanations. I believe the servers were from Spain, as they were all beautiful and kind. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. The perfect deliciousness of the meal was truly memorable.

This Spanish bar is located very close to Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. It used to be around the Corridor Street area, and I had heard good reviews about it from friends. The restaurant has even won the Bib Gourmand award for two consecutive years, showing its reputation for delicious food. I would definitely like to add this restaurant to my list. Here are some of the dishes I tried: - Iberico Ham: This ham is made from Iberian pigs that have been fed acorns and aged for 36 months. The ham is sliced thinly, and the fat melts in your mouth, giving a rich and nutty flavor. - Iberico Ham Assortment: This assortment includes Paleta (front leg), Coppa (neck meat), salami, and chorizo. Each type has a unique flavor, with the peppery salami being a standout. - Galician-Style Octopus: A favorite dish of mine, the octopus is tender and served with potatoes, creating a delicious combination. - Tomato and Anchovy, Spanish Paprika Aioli with Baguette: The tomato aioli is a flavor bomb, with the combination of tomato, anchovy, and bread creating a mouthwatering experience. - Fried Whale with Espelette Pepper and Balsamic: The whale meat is fried and served in a sandwich, with a chewy texture and unique flavor. - Soft Shell Shrimp "Gamba Roja": These shrimp can be eaten whole, and the miso-filled shrimp has a rich and flavorful taste. - Plancha Assortment: This assortment includes Iberico pork shoulder and A5 Yamagata black beef. The Iberico pork is flavorful and tender, while the beef was slightly overcooked. - Valencia-Style Paella: This paella is authentic and includes chicken, rabbit, and snails, creating a flavorful and satisfying dish. - Crema Catalana with Mint Tea: For dessert, I had a smooth crema Catalana and refreshing mint tea. The restaurant offers a variety of drinks, including sherry and delicious sangria. Overall, the restaurant offers high-quality and delicious Spanish dishes in a cozy atmosphere, making it a must-visit spot.

We made an early dinner reservation at 5:00 pm for two people and were automatically assigned to the counter seating. We enjoyed the magic hour from the counter, with the sun still shining brightly and the lush trees, all the way to the full moon. We came for the Fideuà, a short pasta dish similar to paella that is commonly seen in Barcelona, and a Sangria with plenty of frozen fruits. We took many photos of the Sangria that looked great for social media. The food was delicious and paired well with the drinks. The service was good, and there was plenty of space between seats, including at the counter. However, the menu was a bit hard to read as it required scanning QR codes on smartphones, and it would have been easier with a larger screen like an iPad. The Basque cheesecake dessert was okay, but it could have been more enticing. We found that the cost was a bit high at 7,000 yen for two people due to the expensive Spanish beer. The overall value for money was not great, but it was a nice place to linger.

I visited @pero_ginza in the Shinbashi Ginza area recently to celebrate a friend's birthday. The stylish interior and authentic Spanish cuisine were a delight. I love Spanish food and this place is now at the top of my list to visit. We ordered various dishes and drinks, starting with the delicious ham and whale carpaccio. The Spanish-style pizza called Coca was tasty, as well as the bread with generous liver pate topping, fried shishito peppers, and the Paella. The potato with ham and egg topping was also amazing. The birthday plate for my friend was luxurious and cute, making the celebration even more special. I had been curious about this place near Corridor Street before, and now that it has relocated, it has become an even more wonderful restaurant. Thank you for all the information about Ginza Pero!

Hello! Yesterday, I went from a hotel in Ryogoku to Ginza for a Spanish night at "Bar de Espa Pero" in Ginza 8-chome. This restaurant has been awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand ❤️ With stylish black and glossy walls, you can enjoy exquisite Spanish cuisine by a Michelin chef. We started with a toast of sparkling wine and Roger Goulart Extra Brut, and a BOLDAM (Beer). The Basque anchovies and olive pinchos were amazing, with high-quality anchovies and large olives that were surprisingly delicious! The Iberico ham assortment was vibrant and each ham had a unique aroma, all of them were fresh and tasty. The palette had a delicious taste and the Iberico chorizo went perfectly with the sparkling wine. The Mozzarella, onion, and Cantabrian anchovy coca (Spanish-style pizza) had a crispy crust and a flavor that made you want to come back for more. The Sardine and garlic ajo blanco was a masterpiece with the sardine's umami and the olive oil creating a perfect blend. The Lobster paella was a luxurious dish with whole lobster shells cooked in, creating a fragrant and delicious rice dish. The Creme Catalana had a crispy caramelized top and a rich custard inside, with a strong egg yolk flavor. Each dish was meticulously prepared and showcased the energetic and beautiful Spanish cuisine of this Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded restaurant.

The restaurant is said to be closest to Shimbashi Station, but it is actually located in Ginza. I visited because they offer Spanish regional dishes such as Basque and Catalan cuisine. I ordered the "Jamón Ibérico de Bellota" (Iberian ham) first, which was indeed delicious. Then, I ordered dishes like whitebait with olives, mozzarella coca (small pizza), tortilla (omelette), and Iberian pork shoulder. Everything was tasty. Finally, I ordered the Valencia-style paella and squid ink paella. They showed us how they made it in a special pot before serving. It was also very good. They have a wide selection of Spanish beer, wine, and cava. I recommend coming here with a group of about four people so you can try a variety of dishes. Next time, I must try the Basque cheesecake.

Do you struggle to choose a restaurant when dining with gourmet friends or meeting someone for the first time? Well, I have a place that I confidently recommend - Bar de España pero in Ginza 8-chome! This Spanish restaurant opened in 2005 and is a pioneer in the world of Spanish cuisine and wine. It has won the Michelin Bib Gourmand award for two consecutive years and is one of my top 3 favorite restaurants. The menu features Basque cuisine with some Catalan and regional specialties, all inspired by authentic Spanish dining. The wine selection, curated by a sommelier, ranges from affordable options to rare high-end wines, perfectly complementing the dishes. Today, I tried the Curly Kale and Beet Mediterranean Salad, Smoked Salmon with Coca Cream and Mustard Reduction, Shrimp Ajillo, and Marmitako as a special service. The dishes were all delicious and beautifully presented, with the Marmitako being a standout. This Basque dish is a must-try! The restaurant's signature Seafood Paella was also a hit, with its generous portion and aromatic flavors. I highly recommend this place for a memorable dining experience!

On a weekend night, I made a last-minute reservation through Tabelog for a restaurant that recreates famous Spanish bar dishes. The menu featured whale, Iberico ham, and Coca as their specialties. Unfortunately, the whale was sold out, so I ordered half of the Iberico ham and the Coca instead. Coca is a type of bread originating from the eastern region of Spain, similar to a savory pastry. I ordered the following dishes: Galician-style octopus, half portion of Iberico ham, curly kale and beet Mediterranean salad, smoked salmon Coca, anchovy Coca, and seafood paella. Everything was delicious. The Raimat Cava was particularly good. I should have also tried the Sherry, but I got caught up in conversation and forgot. I was expecting a lively and fun atmosphere being a Spanish restaurant, but it was actually a calm and sophisticated setting. The service staff were also quite reserved.

Located a 5-minute walk from Ginza with late-night hours, this place is a gem! Their specialty is Iberico ham, and they have a friendly and cozy atmosphere where you can enjoy a drink at the counter even if you're alone. The bright female staff provide excellent hospitality. They offer a wide selection of Spanish wines and the famous Iberico ham from Joselito. The saltiness of the Spanish ham pairs perfectly with the meat, and the Iberico pork is juicy and delicious. The potato fries come in three types of potatoes, and the purple ones are a favorite. Their seafood paella is flavorful with a rich broth, and the squid ink paella is a must-try. The atmosphere is casual and lively, and the place was moderately busy on a Saturday night. They accept credit cards and are open until late. The restaurant is easily accessible by public transportation. Overall, it's a great place to visit with a rating of 4.0 or above for food, service, and atmosphere.

I had dinner at a Spanish bar that relocated from Ginza 6-chome last year. The first thing that caught my eye when entering the restaurant was the Jamon Iberico! I was looking forward to trying the highest quality "Jose Lito" Jamon Iberico here. Exciting♪♪ For the toast, I selected Spanish beer. - Mahou Cinco Estrellas While asking the staff for recommendations, I ordered the following: - Jamon Iberico de Bellota (half) I was delighted by the live slicing experience and the overwhelming deliciousness of the ham! - Shishito pepper fries "It's interesting how these shishito peppers are different from the ones in Japan," I was told. The ones that arrived were indeed plump and different from the usual shishito peppers. They had almost no spiciness and a pleasant bitterness. - Galician-style octopus Potatoes and octopus with a slightly spicy seasoning that goes well with alcohol. - Coca (Spanish-style pizza) From the various types of Coca available, I chose the popular "Anchovy Coca." The thin crust was easy to eat, and I felt like I could eat endless amounts of it! - Shrimp Ajillo The soft-shell shrimp can be eaten with the shell, and they are tender. The oil in this Ajillo is delicious not only when dipped with bread but also when drizzled over other dishes. - Potato Tortilla The beautifully cooked tortilla was mesmerizing. It contained minced meat, onions, and other ingredients, and it was delicious even without any additional condiments. - Seafood Paella (serves 2 or more) The main event!!! The large paella pan was first shown to us once it was cooked, and then it was neatly divided for us. The rice, full of the flavor of seafood, was incredibly delicious. It's quite filling, so even one less person's portion might be enough? (This time, we shared 2 servings among 3 people) Everything was delicious, and it turned out to be an amazing dinner! Highly recommended for dates or girls' night out♪

I visited the authentic Spanish bar BAR de ESPAÑA Pero, which relocated to Ginza Hacchome. The ham was said to be the best in the world, with a perfect balance of sweetness and saltiness and a nice texture. The paella was surprisingly large for two people. The restaurant has won the Michelin Bib Gourmand award for two consecutive years, so it was quite crowded.

The restaurant was neither spacious nor cramped. The seating felt a bit crowded and not very comfortable. The marinated sardines were delicious, I ended up getting seconds. The presentation of the dishes was very beautiful. The service was good, but the restaurant was full and the staff seemed really busy. There were only two people serving the tables, so sometimes we had to wait a while even after calling them. The overall age group of the customers was young, and there was a bit of a noisy atmosphere, so it might not be very suitable for older people.

Located a 5-minute walk from Shinbashi Station's 3rd exit, near Don Quijote, "BAR de ESPANA Pero" has relocated and opened its doors. You can enjoy authentic Spanish cuisine at this establishment, which won the Bib Gourmand in 2017 and 2018. As you enter the restaurant, you'll notice the centerpiece - a whole leg of the finest 36-month-aged Jamon Iberico de Bellota from Joselito. Start off with a robust Spanish beer, Bordum, and enjoy Mozzarella, onion, and Cantabrian anchovy Coca as a finger food. The Basque-style whale carpaccio with wasabi greens salsa chimi churri is a rare treat, beautifully presented with microgreens and flower buds. Pair it with a red wine, Gran Reyna, and enjoy the chewy, thick dried figs. Finally, end your meal with the seafood-packed Paella, which is full of flavor. Squeeze some lemon and add aioli sauce for a different taste experience. Finish off with a glass of Gran Reyna white wine. Whether you prefer to savor your drink or enjoy it with pintxos, this restaurant is conveniently located between Ginza and Shinbashi in a relatively quiet area. A versatile and welcoming spot to remember.

This is a Spanish restaurant in Ginza that celebrated its 1st anniversary after relocating, so there were cute decorations. As soon as you enter, you see a huge whole ham hanging! It really boosts your mood. Iberico Ham de Bellota half plate for 1900 yen - It was nice to have it sliced right from the whole ham! The ham had a sweet flavor and was delicious. Iberico Ham assortment half plate for 1900 yen - A selection of Chorizo, Salchichon (sausage), Coppa, and Paleta (front leg). They were all delicious, but the Paleta was my favorite as it was fluffy and tender. A5 Yamagata beef 80g for 2500 yen - Incredibly tender and juicy. The wasabi sauce and rock salt were also delicious. It was my first time seeing such large rock salt flakes. The roasted vegetables in the assortment were also delicious. Seafood Paella for 2250 yen (2 servings) - The surface was crispy, and the soup had soaked in well, making it delicious. It had a slightly soy sauce-like taste, with plenty of seafood, giving it a delicious flavor. Crema Catalana for 750 yen - A brulee with a crispy caramel topping. The custard flavor was gentle and delicious. Homemade Basque Cheesecake for 850 yen - This was perfect! A rich cheesecake that was enjoyable until the end.

Chef Kyohei Ino showcases his skills at the popular Spanish bar Bar Bal de Espana in Ginza, which recently relocated and reopened last fall. Known for its authentic Spanish cuisine close to the original, the restaurant attracts visitors looking to enjoy gourmet Spanish dishes. On a Friday night, the place is bustling with customers enjoying Spanish wine, engaging in lively conversations, and savoring delicious food. Like the regular customers, I started with the Jamon Iberico de Bellota, a 36-month aged ham from Joselito, which boasts an intense flavor. The tapas continued with the delicious Gambas al Ajillo, where shrimp is paired with a generous amount of vegetable sauce. A unique dish that stood out was the Basque-inspired Fried Whale Sandwich, seasoned with Espelette pepper and balsamic vinegar. The highlight of the meal was the Plancha Iberico Pork Shoulder, incredibly tender and sweet, served with a beautiful presentation of red and yellow peppers and eggplant. To end the meal, the Seafood Paella was a luxurious dish made with a rich seafood broth and Nyora peppers. Dining while watching the lively kitchen staff adds to the enjoyable experience, especially the cheerful and friendly female chef. Thank you for a delightful evening.

A Spanish restaurant located just a few minutes' walk from Shimbashi Station and Higashi-Ginza Station. The Michelin-listed "Bar de España Pelo," which was previously featured in the Bib Gourmand, has been relocated in the same Ginza area and opened in November 2021. The restaurant has a stylish and dimly lit atmosphere, with both table and counter seating available. The charm of this restaurant lies in the opportunity to enjoy more authentic Spanish cuisine, closer to the original. They offer a variety of dishes made with carefully selected ingredients from Spain, such as the highest quality 36-month aged hamon iberico from Joselito and the rare Iberico pork platter from Montesano. They also have a selection of Spanish grape wines, allowing you to truly experience the essence of Spain. Below are the items we ordered: - Joselito Iberico de Bellota 1/2 plate (¥1,900 including tax): Thinly sliced hamon iberico, aged for 36 months by Joselito, offering a concentrated umami flavor. - Mediterranean-style salad with curly kale and beets (¥1,200 including tax): A beautiful salad with a variety of colorful vegetables, enhanced by a balsamic dressing. - Mozzarella, onion, and Cantabrian anchovy coca (¥900 including tax): A crispy bread topped with anchovies and cheese, offering a delicious combination of flavors. - Mushroom ajillo (¥1,200 including tax): A hot and tasty dish with a garlic flavor, perfectly seasoned with salt, served with big mushrooms on baguette. - Potato tortilla (¥2,100 including tax): A delicious dish with a fluffy texture and a gentle egg flavor. - Iberico pork shoulder loin 90g (¥2,100 including tax): A high-quality Iberico pork with sweet fat and tender meat, served with tasty vegetables. - Seafood paella (for 2 people, ¥4,500 including tax): A paella with a crispy bottom, rich in seafood, cooked without any artificial seasonings, using fish broth and Nyora peppers. - Assorted Spanish cheeses (blue, soft, hard) (¥1,750 including tax): A delightful selection of Spanish cheeses served with various dried fruits. - Crema Catalana (¥750 including tax): A Spanish-style creme brulee with a surprising hint of lemon. - Homemade Basque cheesecake (¥850 including tax): A rich and flavorful Basque cheesecake with a sophisticated sweetness. They also offer a variety of post-meal drinks such as coffee and tea. It was a delightful experience enjoying authentic Spanish cuisine. Thank you for the meal.

A long-established Spanish bar in Ginza. It opened in 2005 and is now in its 17th year. Last year, it relocated to its current location, and the interior is clean and beautifully organized. [A la carte] Total around 20,000 yen - Iberico ham de Bellota 1,900 yen - Whale carpaccio 1,600 yen - Smoked salmon coca 900 yen - Mushroom ajillo 1,200 yen - Basket 220 yen x2 - Iberico pork shoulder loin 2,100 yen - Lamb plancha 1,300 yen x2 - Seafood paella 2,250 yen x2 - Basque cheesecake 850 yen x2 - Soft drinks x6 As soon as you enter the store, you can't miss the Iberico ham, so we ordered it! The 36-month aged ham from Joselito is precious and loved by celebrities around the world. They cut it near the customer's seat, and the aroma is amazing. The Basque whale dish is also abundant, with carpaccio being the most beginner-friendly. All dishes are divided into two portions and the presentation is beautiful! Perfect for a girls' night out. We were greedy with the meat and ordered two types, Iberico pork shoulder loin and lamb plancha. Both were very delicious and a must-order. The famous paella is made without artificial seasonings, with a base of seafood broth and dried paprika. It was very delicious. I want to eat it again. If you're unsure, the course with paella is a great deal at 6,300 yen. Overall, it was delicious, filling, and very satisfying!

If you're interested in the article, search for "Ginza pero". Today, let me introduce you to this place 🧍♀️🧍♂️. Opened in November 2021 in Ginza 8-chome‼️ Taste the authentic Spanish flavors. [Ginza Edition] "Bar de España Pero" https://spain-bar.jp/pero ☎️050-5571-6412☎️ ⏰Tuesday to Saturday 17:30-02:30 (late-night business) Sunday & Monday 17:30-22:30 ⏰Open every day 1F Mineta Building, 8-12-5 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 7 minutes walk from Shiodome Station With the relocation, the concept focuses on offering dishes from the Basque region, so if you are planning a trip to the Basque region in the future, it's a good idea to prepare. For those who have been there before, it's a place to revisit and remember the authentic taste of Spain. The exterior has a modern look typical of Ginza. In the center of the restaurant, there is a chunk of Iberico pork on display. As always with Spanish bars, I want to take this home and display it (laughs). The chic interior layout makes it a recommended place for solo dining or a couple's date night. Interesting trinkets are placed on the counter after an order is placed. Cooking is done in front of you at the open kitchen. This allows you to enjoy the dishes at the optimal temperature. *Paella takes a little time to cook, so it's recommended to order it as your first order! ◉Montaldin Pinot Noir ¥1000 A red wine with a stable deliciousness and high quality, with grape clusters resembling pine needles. ◉Aqua de Valencia ¥950 An orange liqueur that quenches your dry throat. ◉Iberico Chorizo ¥1700 A must-order item. Slices of Iberico pork that go well with red wine. ◉Galician-style Octopus ¥1000 I love the texture! Carefully cooked to be tender! It features a red powder called pimenton. I remember the tough Galician female fishermen from the World Traveler episode in 2003. ◉Soft Shell Shrimp "Gamba Roja" ¥1400 Shrimp with shells that can be eaten whole after preparation. The craftsmanship is outstanding. It can be dipped in garlic aioli sauce provided on the side or enjoyed with lemon. ◉Iberico Ham de Bellota 1/2 plate ¥1900 Iberico pork fed generously with acorns. The unique blood circulating in the body mixes with the meat, resulting in the best richness and aftertaste ever. A must-eat for everyone! ◉Baguette 1 slice ¥220 Crispy when freshly baked! It can be used with aioli oil or topped with sweets. You can use it as you like! It's delicious even when dipped in aioli, or topped with dessert. ◉Pan con Tomate ¥500 Hot! A typical seasoned baguette from Italy. ◉Anchovy and Fennel Aioli ¥1200 Fennel = Fennel (fennel) "Take in the best oil into your body!" (laughs) Aioli is something that drinks oil. Enjoy the oil soaked with the flavor of the ingredients by sipping it. It's good as it is, or with a baguette (1 slice). I put a little Basque cheesecake on top of the bread. ◉Valencian-style Paella for one person ¥2250 Ordered the recommended paella from the restaurant. A traditional Valencian paella with rabbit, chicken, and escargot. ◉Homemade Basque Cheesecake ¥850 Goes well with coffee. The skin is like a genuine cheesecake. It has a gentle taste like baked sweet potatoes. It's also good to put it on freshly baked baguette! ◉Blended Coffee ☕️ ¥500 Finish with a blended coffee to calm your mind. Goes perfectly with Basque cheesecake! From appetizers to the end, the meal ended like a festival. I had a great time in Ginza. If you're interested in the article, search for "Ginza pero". Today, let me introduce you to this place 🧍♀️🧍♂️. Opened in November 2021 in Ginza 8-chome‼️ Taste the authentic Spanish flavors. [Ginza Edition] "Bar de España Pero" https://spain-bar.jp/per

The restaurant seems to have recently relocated and is becoming popular. The current location is on the outskirts of Ginza, with very little foot traffic. Visited on a Saturday at 6 pm with 2 people. It seems like there were reservations and a few other groups, but only 1 new group arrived before we left, so it was quiet. - Drinks: Asahi Super Dry Extra Cold, Boldam (high alcohol content with a punch, similar to a brown ale with a slight bitterness but not too strong) - Whale Carpaccio: Red whale sashimi with wasabi greens sauce, no fishy taste, soft texture, similar to horse sashimi - Shrimp Ajillo: Shrimp with soft shells that can be eaten, be careful as the broth may splash, bread is a must, but a bit pricey at 200 yen per piece - Shishito Pepper Fritters: Half of them were not properly fried, good for drinking but lacks the expected crispy texture - Whale Tempura Sandwich: Disappointing, meat was tough and dry, would be better if cooked a bit rarer - Squid Ink Paella: Ordered for 2 people, served after being cooked, tasty but lacking depth, goes well with garlic mayonnaise and lots of lemon juice. Good service from cheerful and efficient staff. Comfortable atmosphere but slightly expensive overall.

Looking for authentic Spanish regional cuisine, I visited the newly opened "Pero" in Ginza 8-chome on November 29th last year. It used to be located in the Ginza corridor street but now stands right in front of the Mitsui Garden Hotel Ginza Premier. In 2017 and 2018, it won the Michelin "Bib Gourmand" award. They offer the highest quality Spanish ham "Jamón Ibérico de Bellota" aged for 36 months, as well as various tapas dishes and traditional Basque whale dishes. The drink menu is extensive, and the staff's recommendations are spot-on. I particularly want to highlight the following items: - Coca: A Catalan-style bread with a variety of ingredients, such as roasted vegetables with anchovies, smoked salmon with cream and mustard reduction. - Jamón Ibérico de Bellota: The highest quality 36-month aged Spanish ham, a must-try. - Shrimp Ajillo: Large shrimp served with bread, perfect with wine. - Spanish-style omelette: Fluffy omelette with plenty of potatoes and cheese. - Seafood Paella: A generous pot filled with seafood, a must-have dish. - Crème Catalana: A delicious homemade custard dessert. - Baked Apple: Baked apples with vanilla ice cream, a satisfying dessert option. Despite feeling full from the meal, the desserts were definitely worth trying. The restaurant is only open for dinner, but it's definitely worth a visit. Enjoy a taste of Spain in Ginza!
