I have used the Yokocho itself before, but this was my first time at this particular shop. The sign for motsuyaki center stands out. It's been about 5 years since I last came to Kachidoki. There are also monjayaki shops and Tsujita (tsukemen) nearby, making it great for bar hopping, with ramen as a perfect way to finish the night. It's also close to the entrance/exit of Kachidoki Station. The glass windows make it easy to see how crowded it is inside. There's a large TV playing terrestrial broadcasts, and there were a few solo customers. The wall in the back is lined with bottles kept for regular customers. We enjoyed the great deal on pitcher highballs and pitcher chu-his. We stayed for 2 and a half hours, with 5 people eating and drinking, spending a little over 14,000 yen. The manager was very considerate and attentive to both customers and foreign staff, making our dining experience pleasant.

I suddenly felt like having a casual drink, so I came here. It was already past 7pm on a weekday but the place was quite lively. The manager's very friendly service left a strong impression. I recommend the jumbo yakitori with salt (I forgot to take a photo...). It's a great place for those who want to have a casual drink and snacks. I also noticed quite a few families with children, so it's family-friendly too!

I squeezed out a good sweat at Kachidoki's public bath and rushed in for a beer refill. I enjoyed a glass of draft beer, but I felt like I wanted a colder one. The snacks were delicious and cheap, no complaints there, but I found the drinks to be a bit pricey. I'll stick with Kinmiya and enjoy myself.

I wanted to stay in Yokohama, but all the hotels were fully booked. I managed to get a hotel in Tsukishima. The expensive horse sashimi and fatty tuna series were all sold out, so I settled for the roast beef in the style of beef tataki, which cost 590 yen. If I have the chance to visit again, the manager was a nice person.

I stopped by another shop nearby on my way back from a different store, as I had to wait a while for the bus. The bar called out to my inner drinker with its appearance. As I entered the shop, a man who seemed to be the manager greeted me with a loud and clear voice from the grill. He had a strong, refreshing voice that set the atmosphere of the shop. Looking at the menu, there were many tempting appetizers. I ordered 3 pieces of hormone, Hoppy, and highball as I wanted something light. The appetizer and drinks arrived first. The fresh cabbage appetizer was sweet and delicious. The Hoppy had just the right amount of shochu. The hormone was perfectly grilled, but for someone not used to it, it seemed a bit too rare, almost like rare steak. Well, I assume they know what they're doing, so I ate it as it was. The taste was really good. This place would be perfect for drinking and having a great time with close friends.

I entered the restaurant around 8:40 PM on a regular day, and about 60% of the seats were occupied. I left around 9:10 PM. I had 3 dishes, 3 skewers, and 3 drinks for about 3000 yen. The roast beef was delicious, but the horse meat was sold out, which was disappointing. The skewers were average, so it might be better to stick to just dishes next time. Thank you for the meal, I hope to visit again someday.

I often work from home, but I usually stop by Monjya Yokocho in Tsukishima once a week to have some yakitori and then head home after spending 1000 yen. Today, I visited the location in Kachidoki after a drinking party. I think the Kachidoki location opened this year, right? The Tsukishima location is small and perfect for solo drinking, but the Kachidoki location is spacious like the main store. It's so close to my office that I haven't been there until now. After calling around 8 p.m. from the first venue, they said it was full but a table might open up in about 15 minutes. When I arrived, there was indeed a table available and they saved it for me. I quickly took out my black card, ordered a Kinmiya bottle for 300 yen, asked for Hoppy Black and ice, and started the second round of drinks. Cheers. Since the first venue was a classy place, everyone was still hungry. We ordered the usual hormone menu, but unfortunately, they were out of tongue, head meat, and liver number 1. However, we got diaphragm, pork cartilage, as well as wiener, chicken cutlet, and horse sashimi. We ended up ordering quite a lot, but it was delicious so it was fine. Before we knew it, the bottle was empty, so we ordered another one. The conversation flowed, and suddenly it was 11 p.m. I had to go home as it would take 100 minutes to get back. So we called it a night. Even though we didn't stay for the usual 1000 yen worth of food, the high cost performance was still there. The new location was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere for women, as there were many female customers. Unlike other locations which are usually dominated by older men. Thank you for the meal.

I went with a elementary school child. It wasn't that crowded at first, but by the time we left, it was almost full. I had a large beer and the child had a juice, totaling just under 5,000 yen. We ordered about 10 skewers, along with potato salad, pickled plums, and horse meat sashimi. We were charged 200 yen for cabbage appetizer. The skewers were delicious. We ordered two more at the end, but we were already so full that we didn't really need them. I would like to go again with adults next time.

On December 15, 2021, revisited the restaurant at the invitation of a colleague. We had a hearty meal and drinks for 6000 yen for two people. On December 6, 2021, visited for the first time during a business trip to the Tokyo area to check on the opening preparations. It seemed to have opened, so I stopped by. The chain seems to be expanding rapidly, including branches near workplaces and hotels. Despite the pandemic, the pace of new openings does not seem to be slowing down. I entered the restaurant at 9:30 PM, and about 40% of the seats were occupied. There was hand sanitizer at the entrance, no temperature checks, and no visible ventilation inside. There were no partitions on the tables or counters, and it was unclear how seating was different from normal. I ordered the following: - Hoppy set (free for Black members) - Chicken egg (150 yen) - Tam sandwich (150 yen) - Chilled green peppers (350 yen) - Shochu (280 yen each, ordered two) The basic menu is the same at all branches, and the quality is consistent. It's a reliable option for dining alone. I was satisfied and full. Thank you for the meal.

Before I knew it, a new restaurant had opened in Tsukishima. It was quite empty around 5:30, so we went to another place first before coming here for our second stop. By 7:30, it was quite crowded. Since it was our second stop, we ordered some closing dishes. I started with a Chita Highball with my passport. For the second drink, I went with the reliable Mega Highball. For food, we ordered half portions of Jomon rice (garlic soy sauce), which seemed like a lot. It was reliably delicious. We ended up with some garlic fried to finish off the leftover drinks. Yep, reliably delicious as well.

I always feel uneasy at Michimichi. There are no infection prevention measures in place. To be honest, it's scary. I thought about entering when it first opened, but there were no partitions and it was always crowded, so I avoided it. On this day, I happened to see an empty seat at the counter. When I asked if I could sit there, I was guided to a seat at the back of the counter. Luckily, the seats next to me were empty. I ordered a liver dish, some skewers, and a beer. The liver was overcooked and not very tasty, but it's cheap. The skewers were surprisingly delicious and I liked them. However, I couldn't relax because of the crowded and busy atmosphere. I wish they would implement some kind of measures for a more comfortable dining experience.

I occasionally go there, and the alcohol is cheap and the spaghetti is deliciously chewy, but unfortunately, yesterday the strong smell (like half-dried) of a large-bodied manager-like person made me leave immediately. It wasn't the usual manager, but someone who is there occasionally... My friends and other customers were also talking about it. I hope they can do something to improve this.

This yakitori restaurant is fantastic. The taste of the yakitori is authentic, and the meat was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy, and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who love yakitori.
