It was too hot, so I didn't have much of an appetite, but I had dessert only. There are mostly Japanese sweets, but they also have cheesecake. I usually order soba dishes, which are tasty, filling, and reasonably priced. This restaurant is usually not crowded, so it's easy to get a table quickly.

Visited again on a weekday at around 8:00 PM in August 2023. Many families were waiting with one group ahead of us. Ordering and payment were automated. Ordering beer on a tablet and having it brought to us quickly was a great feature. The parking lot was usually full on weekends, but it was quite empty at this time today.

On New Year's Eve, we had countdown soba noodles! Everyone was excited and we decided to go to Yumean because it seemed easier than making it ourselves. It was very crowded, even though it was New Year's Eve. We had reserved the countdown soba noodles, but we ended up getting the overflowing ikura seafood bowl instead. The overflowing ikura was not as much as we expected, but it was still good. The medium fatty tuna was delicious and the sea urchin was decent. The tempura was also tasty. I recommend trying the tempura bowl at Yumean. Thank you for the meal.

"Yumean Kamiikedai Store" is located in front of where Gakken Headquarters used to be (now Life Kamiikedai). I decided to try some Japanese food this time. As I looked through the menu, I was interested in the "Katsu Don Katsu W" (extra rice for free). I had it with fried squid legs and edamame. The "Katsu Don Katsu W" came with two pieces of pork cutlet, which were delicious and satisfying. It reminded me of the katsu don I had in Osaka's Denden Town. I might come back for this again. I also realized that you shouldn't underestimate the katsu don at family restaurants. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by on my way back from visiting the graves during the New Year's holiday. I was hungry and it was a cold day, so I quickly chose the hot pot udon. The pot was on the stove, and I enjoyed the freshly cooked dish as soon as it was ready. The chicken seemed to be the indicator of when it was done. It was piping hot and very delicious. The noodles were similar to Inaniwa udon. For dessert, I had black sugar soft serve ice cream. It was my first time trying it, and it was just the right amount after the meal, and delicious! I think I might try making black sugar jelly at home since I have black sugar. The staff was friendly and the service was great. Thank you for the meal!

We went to the restaurant with my family after visiting the grave. We tried a new menu called "Tsurukame Udon". It was topped with tempura bits, green onions, seaweed, wakame, and a half-boiled egg. It was very healthy. The udon noodles were soft like Inaniwa udon. The broth was light and refreshing, Kansai-style. The portion was not too big, but it was satisfying enough in terms of both quantity and taste. I think this menu is new because I haven't seen it before. Maybe it will be replaced with a new menu in the summer, but I hope it will still be available. Since it doesn't make you overly full, you can even have dessert afterward.

I went after a long time and found out that the menu had been renewed. It seems like they are focusing on soba, and it tasted better than before. The tempura and the new menu item, roast beef bowl, were delicious, but it was a pity that the rice was too soft with too much moisture.

Sukiyaki is surprisingly delicious.
