This is a review of a bento shop located below Kanda Myojin, which has its main base there. I have used this shop occasionally in the past, and the last time I bought the seasonal limited edition Autumn Adventure Bento for 1080 yen, which left a relatively good impression. Today, I was thinking of buying the Miyabi bento, but hesitated and ended up missing out on the Mini Kuromon for 1188 yen (tax included), which sold out quickly. So, I ended up buying the Ishikari bento for the same price. The Ishikari bento includes grilled salmon, simmered dish (koyadofu, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, konjac, carrots, burdock), chicken Karaage, rolled omelette, vegetable-filled chicken meatballs, Gomoku Manju, shrimp fritter, lotus root with minced chicken and sweet miso sauce, hijiki simmered dish, kinpira burdock, pickled vegetables, simmered soybeans, simmered white kidney beans. Personally, I found everything except the grilled salmon to be unsatisfactory, especially the chicken Karaage which was lacking in substance and didn't seem like Karaage at all. Upon confirming the description, it was indeed listed as chicken Karaage. I will refrain from repeating visits to this shop for a while.
