When it comes to katsudon, people think of "Katsuya", gyudon is associated with "Yoshinoya", and tendon with "Tendon Tenya". However, Yoshinoya has now entered the realm of Nakau's famous oyakodon. The oyakodon costs 437 yen, and with a side of miso soup with vegetables for 162 yen, the total comes to 599 yen. The egg seemed a bit less runny than expected, but the taste was still good. The seasoning was a bit too sweet for my liking, with a lot of sauce covering the rice. The onions were cut into large pieces for a nice texture. The chicken, the main ingredient, had a healthy feel to it. Overall, considering the price, taste, and portion size, it's not a bad oyakodon. However, it lacks the addictive quality that makes you crave Yoshinoya's gyudon. Well, different strokes for different folks. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I had the speed lunch here. I ordered my usual beef bowl with egg and pork miso soup set for a total of 706 yen. This set is a small luxury for me. It was crowded during lunchtime, so I had to wait for about 3-4 minutes before it arrived. I feel happy when I mix the beef bowl with egg, shichimi, and pickled ginger. It was delicious as always. I will definitely come back again.

I top it with the egg, plenty of pickled ginger and shichimi pepper. It's consistently delicious. I enjoyed a balanced set meal, replenishing with hot miso soup and vegetables.

I topped it with the egg, sprinkled plenty of red pickled ginger and seven spice, and the enjoyment began. I ate quickly and before I knew it, I had finished the meal. It's amazing how the menu has evolved and expanded without me realizing.

I had heard that from October 5th, Yoshinoya started offering a high-grade menu called "Black Wagyu Sukiyaki Set" for a limited time. I usually ignore chain restaurants, but as soon as I heard about the limited time and quantity menu, I became interested. I hurriedly went to the Yoshinoya near my workplace during lunch. The Yoshinoya in Nihonbashi has a different design from the usual with a black background and orange letters, giving it a chic look. I ordered the "Black Wagyu Sukiyaki Set" and also added the "Pickled Vegetables" because I knew the set usually comes with a small portion. The sukiyaki was delicious, but honestly, I couldn't really tell the difference between regular beef sukiyaki and the black wagyu sukiyaki. Overall, it was a good experience to try it before it sold out. (6/10)

Located 240 meters from the Nihonbashi monument, Yoshigyu at Muromachi-Kojimachi is where I decided to have lunch as it recently opened in its birthplace, Nihonbashi. Despite a slight delay in taking my order due to a promotion for drinks like draft beer, I was served my meal within 3 minutes. Without looking at the menu, I ordered a regular beef bowl for 352 yen (excluding tax) and a raw egg for 68 yen. The dish arrived on a tray with the raw egg, and I mixed it in with the beef bowl. The rice was not piping hot, and the beef had a chewy texture, giving it a unique taste. The counter seating had power outlets and dividers, but my stay was short, lasting only 8 minutes, so I couldn't make use of them for charging.

While heading to work in a daze, I took a morning walk from my home in Kodenmacho towards the west, crossed Showa Street, and headed towards the company. As I walked along Nihonbashi Street, I came across this Yoshinoya location a little before reaching the main street. In the Nihonbashi area, there are cafes, bakeries, and standing soba shops scattered around, but surprisingly there are few places where you can have a rice breakfast. When I really want to eat rice for breakfast, I usually visit fast food chains like this Yoshinoya or the Mitsui Garden Hotel near the intersection of Muromachi Sancho-me. This Yoshinoya location, which opened about two years ago, is a valuable place for me to have a quick rice breakfast. Today, I had the Ham, Egg, and Natto set meal for around 430 yen, and also ordered a grilled salmon as a side dish for about 230 yen. Even though Yoshinoya is known for its beef bowls, as someone who has been on a long business trip alone, having sunny-side-up eggs with luxurious salmon is a treat for breakfast. The food was served quickly, and I started by tasting the miso soup. Then, I enjoyed the ham and egg, alternating with the grilled salmon, all with warm rice. Having a warm breakfast like this is a blissful moment for a dad who can't cook due to being on a long business trip. The prices are reasonable, and Yoshinoya is a perfect place for a quick meal. I enjoyed my meal today. Thank you for the delicious food.

Before heading to work, I had breakfast. While on my way to the office, I was looking for a place to eat and found a Yoshinoya restaurant on a street called Muromachi-koji, near Mitsukoshi on Chuo-dori. It seemed like a new Yoshinoya branch, so I decided to have breakfast there for the first time. The interior of the restaurant was quite clean. I chose the morning set menu, which included a small bowl with Gyudon toppings, two sunny-side-up eggs with ham, salad, rice, and miso soup for about 600 yen. Usually, when I have breakfast at fast-food restaurants, I go for the grilled salmon set, but today I felt like having sunny-side-up eggs. There were a few other customers in the restaurant, and my food was served in about 5 minutes. The dish came in a frying pan-shaped container with ham and two sunny-side-up eggs. Although there was nothing particularly special about it, the Gyudon topping was a nice addition. I quickly mixed it with the rice to make a Gyudon-style dish and enjoyed my meal. The sunny-side-up eggs were a bit overcooked, but overall, it was a satisfying breakfast.
