We tried going to another place, but it was fully booked and my friend's phone was at 1% battery, so we decided to quietly stay at someone else's place and drink some homemade juice. We ended up going to Shiiya-cho just in time for the last order. We toasted with a highball and ordered the following dishes: - Harami with sauce x3: Tastes good on its own but even better with the sauce. - Tan salt: A bit tough, but still good. - Chicken kalbi with basil: Tastes better with lemon juice. - Upper harami: Stronger flavor, but the regular harami is fine too. - Genki kalbi: Less fatty than usual kalbi, but I like it more than gyu-han kalbi. My friend who was running around since the morning said he just wanted to eat something hearty today, so we decided to go for a long-awaited yakiniku! It's been a while since SATO BRIAN, right?! We were considering going with the whole family but it's too much, so we decided not to. I left early and had a leisurely zeroth round with Nanaha, who is already full, so anything is fine. I also brought my favorite honjozo sake, so cheers with a highball during practice. We ordered: Sakura Yukke ¥890 - for Nanana who doesn't eat much meat, it's a stable flavor. Thick-cut tongue with salt ¥990 - my friend who just wanted to eat meat ordered this VIP thick-cut tongue. It was a struggle to cut with scissors, but it was delicious when not cooked too much! Harami with sauce ¥390 - my friend used to eat this a lot when we came for all-you-can-eat, so ordered 2 plates at first but it was so tasty that we added another plate. Large rice ¥350 - big but already gone after 2 plates of tongue and harami. Gyuushin kalbi with sauce ¥490 - it was written that it's similar to harami, so we ordered it, but it was juicier and the fat was a bit too much for a woman in her thirties. Harami with salt ¥390 - also delicious, but it was decided that it's better with sauce. The restaurant is spacious and the smell of yakiniku and cigarette smoke is sucked away by the ventilation fan, so it's nice that the smell doesn't stick to your clothes. Thank you for the meal!

It has really gone downhill. It's disappointing. I used to think it was good and had been a regular customer for years, but recently the quality of the meat has changed. I wonder what happened. The manager who was there 2 or 3 years ago was great! Now it feels mechanical.

Yakiniku itself has a chain store-like taste, for better or for worse. Some of the meat seemed discolored or had a frozen taste, not leaving a good impression. What surprised me the most was the "Oi Kimchi". This was just thinly sliced cucumber sprinkled with a bit of chili pepper. Simply a spicy cucumber. How can they call this kimchi? If it wasn't labeled as kimchi from the beginning, I would have understood, but with the name "Oi Kimchi", it just feels like a deception. My companion had some criticism about the orange juice, but I will omit that as it is not my own opinion.
